I don't know what it is about food trucks, I just like them. Something about not having to go inside and being able to quickly jump out and leave really appeals to me. Tacos Molina, at least when I went, was set up in the parking lot of a car parts store. It's visible from Blossom Hill and parking isn't terrible, although if it was really busy I could see the lot getting full. I went pretty late at night though, so there were only 2 other customers in the whole time I was there. I ordered a burrito and two tacos, because I have trouble saying no to Mexican food. The burrito had cabeza, and the tacos had tripas and lengua. Surprisingly, tripas were the star. Delicious without any gaminess and a wonderful texture, if you haven't tried this you're missing out. Also, don't forget to try all their delicious salsas. The verde and naranjo were my favorites. The downside of Tacos Molina is, of course, the price. $14 for a burrito and $4 per taco. The prices do include tax, but still, I paid $22 for my meal, and I think $16 would be a more value-appropriate price. Overall, good spot for late night eats, price is a little higher than warranted.

Service I was immediately greeted by a very kind lady when I arrived, which set a great tone right away. She took our order efficiently, and the wait time was only about 4 to 5 minutes before our food was ready. We also asked for an extra order of tacos to go, and she was thoughtful enough to keep them warm inside the truck until we were ready to leave. The service felt attentive and genuinely caring. Food I ordered the pastor and buche tacos, and they were incredibly flavorful. Each order came with a bean taco, grilled onions, jalapeños, radishes, and lime, which was a great touch. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. There were salsa bottles available to grab so we could add as much as we wanted ourselves. Every bite was satisfying, and the tacos really stood out. Ambiance It is a classic taco stand setup. There is very limited seating, but we ate outside by the truck and were still comfortable. The casual street food vibe added to the experience, and it felt relaxed and welcoming despite the small space. Overall, this taco stand delivers great service and delicious food. I would definitely come here again.

This place is a hidden gem off Blossom Hill rd shopping center where the Whole Foods is located. Went here around 9 pm on Wednesday and there was a bit of a line and I see why. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and a asada super burrito. The tacos were cooked just right especially the tortillas. The burrito was crispy and was delicious. There's a table to eat, but it's not too spacious. The people here are very welcoming and friendly. Must try if your in South San Jose.

Location: San Jose, off Blossom Hill in the parking lot of an auto shop. Ambiance and Decor: Taco truck, with a couple of tables available. Service: great quick service. For those that are wondering, yes they are bilingual, and they take cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Drinks: during my visit I didn't order a drink but they do offer Mexican Coca-cola and Sprite, along with the Fresca. Food: They offer Tacos, quesadilla, burritos, torta, Mulita, and Taaquito. Meats available are carne asada, lengua, pollo, chorizo, and Pastor. Today's visit we order a burrito lengua and burrito carne asada. The burritos had flavor but they were missing something that prevents me for putting 5 stars. The orange sauce was fire, but I needed a ton of orange sauce for me to complete my burrito. The size of the burrito were mid, which is someone disappointing from someone who hangs out in downtown and East Side San Jose. Overall, it's still a fair place to have Mexican food if you're in the Cambrian side of San Jose.

I've kept hearing that this good truck is better than most of the Mexican restaurants in SSJ, so we had to give it a shot. My wife and I kept it simpl for our first time here, just two Super Carne Asada Burritos to go. While we waited for our food the lady who took our order gave us a cup of birria consume to get the night chill off. Wow, that was delicious, probably the best I've tasted in this area. We will definitely be ordering a few Quesabirrias on our next visit. The burrito was grilled to perfection, filled with deliciously prepared asada, with just enough rice and beans. We will definitely be returning. Clean truck, friendly staff, and great food at a very far price in this economy.

Best tacos in town! Tacos Molina easily one of the best taco spots in San Jose and a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Mexican food. The tacos are packed with flavor, especially the carne asada and al pastor, which are always juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The tortillas are warm and fresh, and the toppings are simple but high quality, letting the meat shine. Their salsa bar adds another level, with bold, spicy options that elevate every bite. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place for a quick meal or late-night craving. It's consistently delicious and never disappointing!

I was looking around for a taco truck late at night and ended up making my way over here. It's a taco stand set up in the parking lot. Service was fast and the lady was nice. The tacos were all cheap too, iirc, about 3 bucks each. So the tacos were all really good. The meats were all juicy. I really liked the pastor but I'm always partial to lengua. I got their spiciest salsa which was really good and spicy. They also gave me refried beans which I enjoyed! Overall, this was a great taco spot and I'd come back!

    chicken burrito, also really good

The carne asada tacos and burrito were very good and the workers are very friendly and sweet. The little bean taco is a nice touch as well.

Our group of six spent around $80 altogether, which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the portions and the amount of food we got. The food came out quickly too. After we ordered, I'd say it took 10 minutes or less, so we really didn't have to wait long. My only suggestion would be more seating. There were only about two tables when we went, and if other people are already sitting there, it can feel a little awkward having to share a table with people you don't know. I definitely think there's room for improvement there. Overall, for trying this place completely blind, I was really impressed. The tacos were good, the portions were generous, the food came out fast, and the price felt fair for our group. I'd definitely come back!

When I saw it, I was like "damn that's big" lol! He finished the whole thing and I know he loved it because we barely spoke to each other during dinner. The Cali fries were also good! Fries were crispy and all the flavors came through for this! My hubby and I love orange sauce whenever we get Mexican food. Their orange sauce has a pretty good kick to it, but personally I like La Vic's orange sauce a bit better. But I do like a bit of spice added to my food so I added it to my crispy tacos and fries! We came on a Friday evening around 6ish and the restaurant looked busy. But we were able to sit as soon as we were greeted. The menu is pretty big and can be overwhelming, but I highly recommend the crispy tacos. I've gone here a couple of times already and I always order them when I come here! Location is a bit tough because it's in DTSJ. Not in the best area in my opinion. Lots of suspicious people walking around lol. Food is 4.5/5 stars Service is okay. I think it's hit or miss on who your server is. Our server tonight did not ask us what we wanted to drink so my husband had to get the water himself :( I overheard other servers asking what their customers wanted to drink or if they'd like a horchata or agua fresca. A bit bummed out about our server not asking us what we wanted to drink. Whenever my hubby and I end up dining it at a restaurant, I expect better service with the bare minimum of asking what the customers wanted to drink. After finishing up our meal, we asked for the check. But it kind of rubbed me the wrong way that she was hovering over the machine waiting to see what we were going to tip? We always at least tip 15% when we dine out. But this felt like a pressured 15% tip. Unfortunately, the service today contributed to the lower ranking for Cali Spartan.

The cabeza and lengua were both super juicy and flavorful and the soft, possibly homemade tortilla soaked up a lot of the juices which was great. I tend to like a crispier tortilla but I've got no complaints here. The cabeza and lengua were super tender and with all the condiments and toppings, excellent. The tripa was a pleasant surprise because although it didn't look as fried, it still had that desirable crunch and chew that I like rather than it just being chewy. The pastor came with pineapple and although it was good, I think I liked the other meats better. Overall, excellent place to get late night tacos and I'll be back. Go check them out!

I had a very concerning experience with my order and would like to request a full refund if possible. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and unfortunately, the entire experience raised serious concerns about food quality, cleanliness, and possible cross-contamination. I ordered a quesadilla, and from the first bite, something seemed seriously wrong. The tortilla and filling had an overwhelming burnt, extremely charcoal-like aftertaste that made the food taste as though it had been prepared on an extremely dirty or poorly maintained cooking surface. This was not simply a matter of the food being slightly overcooked or having a burnt grill taste the taste was unsanitary and unpleasant. The meat was also excessively fatty and of such poor grade quality that I could barely tolerate the texture or taste. I am generally not someone who complains about meat quality, but the combination of the questionable meat and the strong, dirty taste of the cooking surface made the quesadilla completely inedible. Now here's the more upsetting part: I also ordered two carne asada tacos, but instead received three tacos, including one containing what appeared to be pork intestines or another type of miscellaneous meat that I absolutely did not order. I do not eat pork, and the texture of this meat was slimy and the smell of it was extremely unpleasant. More concerningly, the meat appeared to have come into contact with the carne asada tacos as well. I unfortunately did not inspect the order before taking a bite, so I accidentally bit into the taco containing the unidentified meat. I was immediately nauseated and genuinely felt like I was going to vomit. I attempted to eat the carne asada tacos afterward, but I could taste what appeared to be the same miscellaneous meat mixed into them. I noticed that the tortillas themselves had the same strong burnt, charcoal-like flavor as the quesadilla, which further contributed to my concerns about the cleanliness and condition of the cooking surface. Because the unidentified meat appeared to have contaminated or mixed with the food I actually ordered, I ultimately could not eat any of the tacos. The horchata was another major concern. It had an unusually unpleasant taste that I have never experienced from horchata before. It tasted stale and potentially contaminated, almost as though something unsanitary had come into contact with it. I cannot say exactly what caused the taste, but it was sufficiently abnormal that I did not feel comfortable drinking it. Ultimately, I ate only approximately one bite of the quesadilla and a single bite of each type of taco before throwing the food away. Shortly afterward, my stomach was already growling and I felt extremely uncomfortable. This was not simply a matter of the food not matching my personal taste. I am concerned about the apparent lack of cleanliness, the burnt/dirty taste throughout the food, the unidentified meat being included in an order where it was not requested, and the apparent cross-contact between that meat and the carne asada I ordered. I would strongly encourage the restaurant to review its food-preparation, cooking-surface sanitation, ingredient handling, and order-assembly procedures. I am pretty upset that I ate something I didn't order and have no idea what it is. Given that I was unable to safely or reasonably consume essentially any of my order, I would appreciate a full refund.

Chips and Salsa were average flavor wise. But they were free so that was a plus. Since we went on a Tuesday we tried the taco special. The Street tacos were very tasty. They had a great freshness the meat was juicy and very well seasoned. If you're in the Willow Glen area and are having a taco craving then you should check this place out. But in my opinion the food in general is slightly above average. I actually would give this place 3 1/2 stars but the app doesn't allow it. Be kind to one another
