Came for their $0.99 taco tuesday fish tacos. We ordered 8 for 2 people with all the toppings. The tacos were pretty big with lots of toppings and sauce. Pretty good. Fish wasn't fishy but wished it was a little more crispier. I wonder if I asked for extra crispy would they do it but for the price and portions I will definitely be back again. They also gave us salsa, jalapenos and sweet onions. The jalapenos and the sweet onions added to the flavor of the tacos making them delicious. The jalapenos were my favorite. I ate the whole bag LOL. They are located at the corner of Santa Anita and the valley mall. Parking is on the street along the mall street. Will be back!! read more

I feel like they don't put much effort on their taco Tuesday deal. The fish seems lukewarm when I received it and not as crunchy as other taco places. They tortilla is soggy and frail which makes it seem like it's been sitting for a while. Not too sure what the underlying issue is but I probably won't try again. read more

Food is ok. They are very tight with the salsa. They treat it like gold. I asked for a extra salsa and was told ridley no. They say 1 salsa for 4 tacos. Really? Next time I want fish tacos I'll go to Taco Nazo! read more

My First time here, I was driving by and gave it a try it was a Sunday around noon, the parking lot does not feel safe as there where some suspicious people and a drunk sleeping there in the back area. The place was empty only a to go order and us. It was pretty clean some of the chairs where still up and there were only two employees at that time. The service was ok and the cashier did make us aware that the prices on the menu were not correct as they had been changed. The ambiance was awkward, no televisions or radio playing in the background just quiet. The restroom is in the hallway towards the back and you do need to borrow the key ( on a spoon) from the cashier. Our food did come out in a decent amount of time we ordered fish tostadas, fish fillet and fish tacos with rice and beans. The rice and beans was not good just bland and the fish tacos were more batter than fish. The fish tostadas in the other hand were good and were a decent size. I honestly will not be back and the tostadas would be the only thing good that our group agreed on that wasn't bad. They have a 3% charge when using credit as payment (not legal in California) so heads up on that if you don't have cash. read more

FISH TACO TUESDAYYYY!! Who loves fish tacos?! I DO!! And now there's a new spot in town to compete with Baja Cali and Bufadora! Although, since Bufadora removed their fish taco deal, who even goes there anymore?? Ensenada provides delicious crispy fish tacos for only a buck each every Tuesday. That's right folks! You heard it here first. So get your butts over here and try them before the lines get long AF! I believe Thursdays is meat tacos for a dollar too but I haven't tried those for myself. So try and let me know if you like them! Or hit me up and we can try together, cause tacos always taste better with a friend, amirite?! The best part of this place is that they aren't stingy with those oh so yummy yellow peppers with the chili salt on them!! That tray is full EVERY TIME I'M THERE!! What sorcery is that?! I'm always having to tell Baja Cali that I need more of them peppers and they seriously make me feel like that meme of that guy friending for that white powder. You know?! The only bad part is they charge a 3% fee for card transactions. Which sucks. Because my card only gives 2% back. Cry cry. So bring cash kids! Or don't, totes up to you! Enjoy the tacos! read more

I was really surprised by the fish tacos here. I usually frequent another joint for my fish taco fix but we decided to try Tacos Enseñada's to switch it up. The batter was so crunchy on the outside and the fish was tender on the inside. The fish to tortilla ratio was also really good. The shredded cabbage and pico de gallo were chopped up real small so there's not a ton of toppings falling out when you eat. And because of covid, they packaged all their onions, chili, and lemon in individual bags and automatically include them with your meal. I liked that because I didn't have to ask for them on the side. The prices here are also great! Will definitely be back. read more

This is the place for fish tacos Tuesdays. It's now $1.25 post covid but that is still a good deal. The fish size is big and you still can get your own peppers, limes, and onions but there's a sign for "get what you need to keep costs low" I enjoy that kind of honesty in a place and would still come here for my Fish Taco Tuesdays. They also have Thursday meat taco deals as well. Their other seafood dishes are good also! Will be always coming back for them fish tacos though. read more

Hum.. Tacos where good, price was reasonable, the wait was quick, but customer service is something they still need to work one. The hubs and I order 2 of 3 different kind of tacos. I asked the girl if they can do 1 of each on 2 different places and she told me that its not possible, its not something they can do because the system wouldn't allow it. Then when I got my order, they were able to do it. But she gave me such a hard time at the register, telling me that the computer wouldn't allow it, making me feel like I was problematic. She also wasn't that friendly. Price: 6 tacos, under $15 Parking lot: have their own space read more

I came here for lunch i order al pastor tacos the meat was okay needed some flavor, the tortillas were not that great , the cilantro look and tasted couple day's old , the onions were okay overall the tacos were okay a little pricey. I should of order the fish tacos they had a lot good reviews on google the staff need to work on there customer service. The Restaurant could use some cleaning. I well be come back but will not order any type of meat here this was my second visit ill would try there Mariscos. read more

I only go for Fish Taco Tuesdays (B1G1). Can't beat 2 fish tacos $1.75 each. Place is a little bit run down.

This is a great place to catch Taco Tuesday deal with fish tacos for $1 and Taco Thursday deal with meat tacos for $1. The tacos here are pretty good. Definitely a bang for your buck (literally?). My favorite taco has to be the fish taco. The fish is big and overall a very good deal for just being $1. The bar at the side has lemon, pickled onions, and spicy banana peppers. It can get crowded on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it always feels like the AC isn't on. So be ready to step into a steam room, especially in the summer. Water is not free and refills on drinks are not free. Pretty unusual for a fast food establishment, but there you have it. read more

Drove by this place and decided to stop by and try it out. The menu has alot of option but Jazmin was nice and sweet great customer service. Helped my family and I narrow down our options. Here is what we tried Ensenada style Fish Tacos, Ensenada shrimp tacos they didn't disappoint the breading is soft and delicious plus melts in your mouth. If your looking for a spot to try THIS IS IT.... their purple onion and special chili sauce is a must too. Thank you Jazmin! We're definitely comming back soon ! read more

These are my favorite fish tacos in LA. They have surpassed the other local fish taco stands. They are the closest in flavor to fish tacos in Ensenada. Last night I changed my order a bit and also bought shrimp tacos and a grilled shrimp with octopus taco. Wow were they good. The first thing I ever had there was their Carnitas burrito which is still great. I also have had their shrimp cocktails and different ceviche, which were very good. See you guys there soon. read more

I would give no stars. Very rude! Messed up the order then they didn't want to fix it. I had to pay again. Very bad experience!

Really bad customer service, most of the ladies working had very bad attitude and customer service. Food was pretty decent, 1.50$ tacos. I got the Carne asada nachos which were pretty good but bad customer service made me not want to come here again. read more

I came to this place without having a idea that it was new, a friend and me were hungry and the sushi place across the street was closed. The prices were good for the food quantity and quality. This place was packet when we arrived and had to wait for 8 minutes almost for our food (tacos) to be ready, which is understandable...I didn't come for fast food. They have a sides island and the chiles güeros are very good. If you are a person of hot sauces, there are some bottles on the tables. My only complain would be the person who calls the people when the food is ready, the lady lost her patience with all the people who went over there and got a bad attitude when my friend asked her for our order number (which we were not very clear which one she used to call people.) read more

I like Tacos Ensenada and this was the first (and last) time visiting this location. Rude ass bitch at the register name PATRICIA needs to check her attitude. Talked to me like I was inferior when I asked her what drinks those fresh waters were behind the counter. She's lucky she can still hold her job and her stupidass hasn't gotten fired. Management should check her. Otherwise, fish tacos were okay not great. Carne asada tacos came out room temperature. Meh. There are plenty of other Mexican taco joints around the area that have friendlier, respectful staff. read more

Don't recommend it they took 30 min to whip out the order to go when the restaurant was empty. On top of that I ordered a chicken burrito thinking it would be chunks of grilled chicken turns out it's plain ol shredded chicken and the Piña agua fresca tasted like a mix of horchata and piña. Was my first time going and won't be back. Alfredo's next door to them is way better I recommend that! read more

great food and tacos, although very disappointed at the fact they have a new setup display of la santa muerte in a altar ( saint of death) not cool. keep your beliefs to yourself especially something dark like that. just lost a customer and sure im not the only one who feels that way! read more

Fresh food, fast service, and great prices! We both got taco combos (2 tacos, rice, and a fountain drink). My combo (fish and shrimp tacos ) was only $6.25. We shared a delicious ceviche, too. Food is great but horrible customer service. It's happened multiple times where I go and the workers/cashiers REFUSE to call out order numbers and food descriptions in English. I witness these SAME workers/cashiers take down the orders from customers at the register in English and repeat back those same orders to the customers in English. But when the food is ready they just call out the orders in Spanish repeatedly over and over again as customers just stand around waiting not knowing their order is ready because they don't understand Spanish. As a bilingual customer I myself understand the order numbers and food descriptions and I understand that it is a Mexican restaurant but not everybody speaks the language. So if the order is being taken down in English the courtesy should be extended as well when it comes to calling it out for customers to pick up. I witnessed I don't know how many customers just taking standing around because they didn't even know their order was being called out or ready. read more

Best Taco Tuesday This is the best establishment that I've found for Taco Tuesday where you can get $1 battered fish tacos. I personally love how they have their limes, radishes, and peppers on display for people to self-serve. Make sure to try the shrimp ceviche. There aren't a lot of places that sell ceviche and this restaurant has a couple different variations that you can try. **DO bring your own water if you're used to going to places and just getting water cups. They do not give cups of water for free.** read more

I had a bad experience with the El monte location today. Make sure you check your order before you leave. I got home and half was missing. I returned to the location and was greeted by rude staff. I asked for the cooked portion of my order to be remade. Christina, the person who was in charge didn't want to accommodate and came across very rude. My wife and I weren't leaving until we got our order right. She had to call someone to get approval. She said I was rude and made it seem it was my problem. Christina also mentioned she didn't care of the homeless in the area. I recommend she be retrained in customer service and not be a bad example for the rest of the staff. Mr. Lane read more
