I have been hearing about this place and finally got some. This is easily one of my favorite taco places that I have tried. It is newly opened in Olney right next to Exxon gas station. Its other location is in Germantown. I went to pick up the food and I was the only one there, probably because it is new, so not many people know about it yet and the time I went wasn't a popular time. The items ordered: birria tacos with consome, pizza birria, chicharrones, and fruta. The birria tacos with consome are amazing! Definitely recommend. Has a lot of flavor and so juicy with the consome. The pizza birria is pretty good too, it is very much like a quesadilla. The fruta was the least favorite. It was okay, just nothing special. Staff is friendly and polite.

The food is the bomb.com I love the flavor of the meats and the level of spicy is amazing ! The service is fast and they are nice. It does take a quick minute to get your food but it's worth the wait ! The ambiance of the place is very family friendly. You can eat outside as well.

Delicious tacos from a food truck. I had the chorizo and carne asada tacos. Both delicious and served quickly. A great value lunch in Olney.

Food is great but unfortunately the truck has stopped coming. I have made many wasted trips only to find out that the truck was not there.

The service is wonderful with cheerful waiters treating you like an old friend. Tables of friends meet for lunch and spend time enjoying their lunches and catching up. When you walk in, you get the feeling that this is a place that has been around for a while. The bar is a nice size and is the first thing you see when you walk in. There are lots of booths throughout the restaurant, along with a large circular booth in the back. We were seated in an area where they had tables put together for the group from the service. Because we were there with the group, we were given a smaller menu with a limited selection rather than the restaurant's regular menu. I did get a chance to look around when I went to the restroom, and there were quite a few people eating. I noticed several people had ordered the fried chicken, and it looked really good. If we are ever back in the area, that's definitely something I'd like to try. My wife had a pasta dish with vegetables, and I ordered the Olney Grill Sandwich, which had ham, turkey, tomato and American cheese, grilled and served with potato salad. The sandwich was okay. I didn't have my glasses with me, so I couldn't read the menu very well. I don't care for American cheese, otherwise I probably would have ordered something different. My favorite is hot pastrami, and I would have ordered that, but the menu said it came on rye bread. My brother-in-law ordered it, and he said it actually came on pumpernickel. Overall, the service was great. The gentleman taking care of our group did an excellent job. I don't think anyone had to ask him for anything--or at least very rarely. He kept everything moving and made sure everyone was taken care of. We didn't get to experience the full regular menu because of the limited menu offered to our group, but from what I saw, the restaurant had a good number of people dining and the food coming out looked very good. If you're ever in the Olney area, I'd definitely recommend stopping in and giving Olney Grill a try.

When my husband brought the food home, we realized we had been given a shredded beef burrito instead of grilled chicken. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the same employee who took my order. She repeated what I had originally ordered and admitted that she entered it incorrectly in the system. She apologized and told me they would remake the correct burrito and that it would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. My husband drove back to the restaurant, only to be told by the owner that they would not give him the replacement burrito unless he returned the incorrect one. That would have been completely understandable had we been told that before he made a second trip to the restaurant. When I called to address the situation, the owner explained that when an employee makes a mistake, the employee has to pay for the food and takes the incorrect food home. He was concerned about replacing the burrito without getting the original back because someone had to pay for it. Respectfully, how the restaurant chooses to handle employee mistakes internally has nothing to do with me as a paying customer. The restaurant admitted the mistake was theirs, and I simply expected them to correct it. Instead of trying to resolve a very simple issue, the owner became extremely rude and dismissive and told me to bring all of the food back and he would refund my entire order. When I arrived at the restaurant, the interaction became even worse. He again acknowledged that the employee had entered my order incorrectly but continued arguing with me over a mistake I did not make. He then accused me of "always having issues" when I come to his restaurant, which is simply untrue. In more than six years of patronizing this business, I have never returned a meal. I have even found a hair in my food in the past, brought it to their attention, and STILL paid for my meal without making an issue of it. What bothered me most was the complete lack of respect. I told him directly that I felt like I was being treated like sh** in front of an entire restaurant full of people, despite being a longtime customer and despite his own employee admitting that the restaurant made the mistake. His response was essentially to take the food back and refund everything rather than simply correct the order. I have the entire encounter recorded, so there is no confusion about how this situation was handled. Mistakes happen. I was never upset that the wrong burrito was made. The problem was how the owner chose to handle a simple mistake after it was acknowledged. A loyal customer should not be argued with, embarrassed, or treated disrespectfully because of an error made by the restaurant. After more than six years and hundreds of visits, I never expected to be treated this way. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed how I view this establishment, and I will not be returning.

The portion sized was so generous I could only eat one. The beans were well seasoned, and the cheese was not to overwhelming. The main course though? Oh boy! The Special Quesadilla with chicken was phenomenal! The chicken actually had flavor which was a pleasant surprise compared to other restaurants that will remain nameless. The ratio of meat to cheese was just right, and even with having the large amount of chicken, it did not make for a messy eat. But what brought it all together was the amazing service. My party had arrive 10 minutes before me, and the waitress was there to welcome me right away. My order was taken almost immediately. And my appetizer came out at the same time as everybody else's. My water was always refilled without asking and I was given a box for my leftovers because she had observed that I was full. If you are ever in Ashton, make sure to visit-you wont be disappointed!

One bite and I remembered exactly why Maryland's Latin cuisine stands on business. The tacos? Packed with flavor, seasoned like somebody's abuela was in the back making sure it was done right. Fresh toppings, tender meat, and tortillas that tasted like they actually matter. No shortcuts. No playing around. And let me be clear -- Jazmin hits WAY harder than Chipotle. Not even the same conversation. This is the kind of food that reminds you what authentic is supposed to taste like. Vegas couldn't touch this if they tried. If you want real flavor, real culture, and real tacos... stop scrolling and pull up. Jazmin understood the assignment.
