The tacos were well seasoned, the salsas added a nice acidity and brightness to the meat, and the tortillas are incredible. The guacamole, chips, and chicharron were also great. The guacamole was creamy and balanced out the richness of the chicharron. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at Hijos Del Maiz and I will definitely be back.

I love their chicken taco, the meat is shredded and flavorful and not overly spiced. I don't know what they do to the shells but they add so much. They are more soft than crunchy and are more than just a dull wrapping to hold the meat in. The tacos we order don't come with cheese but do have some crisp vegetables, I'd never thought of putting radish on a taco before, but now I'll never turn back. Of course, there is also a small container of green sauce and a wedge of lime. Not sure if it's included but we always make sure to have some pico de gallo.
