One of our go-to spots in Montgomery Village. The al pastor tacos are so delicious and fairly priced!

Yes, he also owns the last truck in line (yellow) which I suppose is the same quality food but rarely has a line. The first truck has the most traffic as you can tell by the crowds and the dirt patch out front. That should tell you something. None are bad, but I have had burritos & tacos at Roberto's and at the Puebla and Puebla's are significantly better. Do a head-to-head comparison...the tacos are only $2! You can get one from each truck. Here's the run down on the Puebla's food... The carne asada is killer! Get it in the tacos or the torta. You get some tender flavorful beef with fresh toppings. Anyway...tacos in beef or pork, you can't go wrong! The chicken seems dry in the tacos but it is great in the burritos. The chicken burrito is the bomb. I am always amazed how heavy the thing is when they hand it to me. For $6 they cram a lot of goodness in there. It has great flavor and is as big as a fully packed Chipolte creation. For some reason I don't like his carne asada in the burritos...I tend to find more tough pieces in a burrito, that I have no issue with on the taco. Go figure. If you like it spicy, ask for it very spicy! They have this really hot sauce they'll give you a cup of on the side that is delicious...it is different than the standard red or green sauce. The tortas are excellent. There is too much mayo on there for me so sometimes I have them skip the mayo or add cheese....you get a carne asada torta with cheese and you know what you have? A mexican cheese steak! It's great. Flavorful beef, avocado, hot salsa...delicious. The quesadillas are good if you like that sort of thing. I think they are kind of plain in comparison to the other items, but the quality is good. My kid likes them. The puppusas are good as well, but there are a lot of "pupusarias" in the area that do just as good of a job. The "pitchman" out front of the Mexico Puebla is the owner. He speaks perfect English and is a really friendly guy. Talk him up and he'll tell you his life story. He says his tacos are "the best!" and he's right. ;) Puebla was the first cart there 9 years ago. He used to run out of a little hot dog cart with his wife selling hamburger, hot dogs, tacos and burritos. The mexican food far outsold the standard fare so he saved up and bought a truck. Soon the success caught on and another truck or two showed up. He put a second truck in line because he was losing a lot of business since people passed one of the new trucks before they got to him. Anyway, that is some history for you.

Initially stumbled upon this location…read morea year ago when I was shopping at Clarksburg Premium Outlets and it made such a lasting impression that I finally was able to come back for round two. They specialize in Colombian street food, particularly empanadas and hot dogs. Service is quick and they make everything to order. They have a couple of tables and chairs in front of their set-up to enjoy the food. The perro caliente is the star of their menu; I've never had anything like it before coming here. In addition to your standard hot dog, they add mozzarella cheese and onions topped with pineapple sauce, mayoketchup, garlic mayo, and crushed potato chips. The combination sounds wild but the flavors cohesively come together for a delicious bite. I don't even like hot dogs but I was sold in the unique sweet and savory combination of sauces + the incorporation of potato chips. As for the empanada, you can't go wrong with any of their offerings. I've had both the chicken and beef and they were both so tasty. They fry them on the spot and the shell has the perfect crisp with every bite. It comes with a dipping sauce which I believe is one of their mayo sauces which definitely elevates the empanadas. They also offer frozen empanadas that you could take home! I wish I lived closer to enjoy their offerings on the regular. In the meantime, patiently awaiting the opportunity to come back and hopefully bring back a load of frozen empanadas!

We rolled into Savage Park around noon (Jun 2026) We jousted for parking with baseball-goers and playground-goers. We got a good spot. Then we pulled out our camp chairs and set up in the shade. We got our go-to: Authentic Chicago Dogs! Hot! Loaded with the right combo if all the right toppings! Poppy-seed buns! Perfect! Delicious! Soft drinks and chips to go with. They have many other dogs, even vegetarian dogs. This was the "Big Trailer", so we could also get baked beans, with just a little spiciness that builds up. The big trailer also has Black Angus smash burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, fries, pasta salad, and Italian donuts. Delicious! You order at a counter and are given a number to display at your table. Our food took only a few minutes to arrive. The server also brought over a box holding three salsas in squeeze bottles. The green salsa was pretty mild and the orange one was super hot. The dark one was, I think, chipotle. I didn't care for the chipotle. The tacos looked great and were each pretty packed with ingredients. Pollo tacos - I thought the chicken was a bit dry and, because of that, disappointing. Veggie - The veggie were filled with cooked onion, mushroom and peppers. Although they were well prepared and held a lot of veggies, there was no seasoning, so the taste was pretty flat/boring. I had to rely on adding guac and some salsa for flavor. I was hoping the veggie would have some flavor without having to rely on sauces. Al Pastor - was very good. Guacamole - comes "market price". The side we got was $3, which I think was a good value. The guac was flavorful and was a nice portion. I am glad I had it to supplement the disappointing Veggie taco and the dryness of the Pollo. The corn tortillas were good. The place is nice and comfortable.
