Al pastor burrito with guacamole (they forgot to add the guacamole)
    Johnny G.

Paying top dollar for a less than mediocre burrito sucks, and god forbid you ask for no rice and beans, they'll charge you 3 bucks extra. And it all can be forgiven if the quality of the al pastor was good. But it wasn't. The meat was hard and dry and I'm sure it was old and that's why they throw it in the food you don't "see". Very disappointed as this was my first time coming here, won't ever be back. The service was quick and fast the cashier was sweet but the quality and price for food was ridiculous

I've always passed by this place and finally decided to try it. It was decent but I thought it was pricey compared to other taco places. Because they are street tacos you need a few to fill up. So my total added up pretty fast. I ordered three different types of tacos and a burrito so we could all taste test and try different things from this place. The flavors were just average. Nothing special. I asked if they had a burrito with avocado or guacamole but she said no. I like flavors and sauces. I wish they had more to the food or options to add. If I was hungry and in that parking lot I would maybe go back but it's not something I would crave and have to have again. And I highly dislike being charged extra money to pay by credit card. That alone might make me not want to go back.

My daughter's team has been using them for their parties. I meet my wife there for lunch becsuse she works close to there. But this time I went to support a local small business that was open during quarantine. I got a burrito, but on a whim I also got some asada fries, so good.

The Carne Asada French Fries are delicious!

I was in the mood for Mexican, but always looking for some new gem here in the SFV, so I took to yelp and near the top was Tacos El Cosas. Since it wasn't far, and based on the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Located in the same mall as a 7-11 at the corner of Devoshire and Topanga just past Los Toros if you're heading West on Devonshire. Keep your eyes peeled, because you could drive right on buy it if you're not paying close attention. The place was pretty much empty considering it was around 7PM or so. The staff was courteous. I oped for the Carne Asada French Fries, and my wife a variety selection of steak and chicken tacos. Both were totally delicious and we cleaned our plates. It's always fun to find a new to you, mom & pop type restaurant in the neighborhood.

I have been to multiple restaurants around the valley and they have the best machaca burrito in town.

I found the wait staff to be a bit short-tempered and absent-minded. The molé was decent, sweet, with a little smokiness. The plate was big enough to share or take leftovers home. Comes with a basket of chips and salsa you get yourself at a salsa bar. Ordering is at the counter, then you take a number to your table. Soft drinks are self serve. They don't have Coke Zero, only Diet Coke. The flan was pretty good. They ask if you want it topped with a caramel sauce and/or whipped cream. Again, I had to go to the counter and ask for it (even though I had paid for it). In fact, I had to go back to the counter several times. My drink cup was forgotten. My flan was as forgotten. Since no one came by to check on our party of five- I had to go to the counter to get to-go boxes and bags. It's close by to work, so I might come by another time. Or I might just go to Melody's because their staff seems to be nicer...

The venue itself has a warm, lively, & welcoming character, making it a wonderful place to relax, enjoy a meal, and spend time with friends or family. The atmosphere reflects the restaurant's genuine pride in its food and hospitality. As always I started with their chips & salsa. The chips are served warm accompanied by a decent flavorful salsa, (secret note: if you like a real hot salsa ask for the Habanero salsa) The Margaritas are delicious, not too strong but just right ! And they offer plenty of Tequilas to choose from- so I'm sure they have your favorite. On this visit I ordered my usual Casamigos Margarita- Sooo Good ! I then ordered up a few meals to go: First order was a two cheese enchilada combo with double beans (the beans are super tasty, can't get enough of that creamy velvety taste) Second order was the Carne Asada plater, also with double beans (of course) ;-) both are standouts - super authentic Mexican Food flavors. Basically every dish I have tasted at Micheladas Grill have been full of authentic flavor & super delicious. No doubt why it's such a popular neighborhood spot. Owner Alejandro and Bartender Kristina provide exceptional hospitality and make every guest feel truly welcome. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth create a personal touch that makes each visit memorable. They go beyond simply providing "Great"service--they make you feel like part of the family.
