Amazingly good food. So easy to go with my toddlers, they love the tacos. There's so many options to choose from and everything has been good. I love that chips are available to grab and drinks are refillable. I recommended this place for a friend's party and she ordered catering, the food was amazing still!! Meat was great, tortillas tasty, and beans and rice just hit the spot. It reminds me of a classic taqueria, just easy and delish. I'm from the peninsula and it heavily reminds me of Tres Amigos in San Mateo, very nostalgic if you know it. Highly recommend eating inside or take out. Only recommendation is if you eat inside, being a jacket if it's chilly out, the inside can be a little cold. We went for the grand opening and it was delicious! Did not disappoint! I ordered the chile relleno plate and everything was cooked perfectly! Flavors were very balanced, rice and beans were spot on! My new go-to spot! Aiming to be a regular because the food was solid and portions were generous. I got a super taco and 2 vampiros, and personally I noticed the cooking style to be much cleaner and less oils/fats left over on the plate. My partner got a regular burrito and it was thick! They also have a salsa bar with unlimited corn chips which were yum. They did a great job redoing the space and the decor is very nice. Very clean as well! The parking lot was repaved and painted which is a huge upgrade from before. Will be coming back to sit in or takeout since we're nearby! :) great place! read more

So I am always happy to try a new taco spot. I ordered the Pastor regular taco and the Carne Asada regular taco and they were both good. The meat could use a little more seasoning for my preference. But once I added the salsas I was really happy. The salsas are good. The mild is a little spicy so I didn't try the hot one. I love the avocado salsa the most. My husband hot the Calso de Res and enjoyed it. He thought the broth could have had a little bit more flavor but the meat was perfect and plenty of veggies. But the star was the Michelada. I love when they are made more simple. I don't like it with a bunch of tomato juice and really don't like it when bloody mary mix is used. I just want a little tomato juice and more climate juice with a little bit of pepper and tajin, lots of lime juice. I got what I like here. But it also came with a couple seasoned shrimp and orange wedge. Delicious. I've been thinking about it ever since. The place is really clean with lots of seating. I love the al pastor tacos!! They are so flavorful and I love the tortillas that come with that tacos. When i've come here I always get the two taco plate, that come with two tacos and rice and beans. My boyfriend gets the Asada burrito and he loves it. If you eat inside you're able to help yourself to free chips and salsa. I like that they have a salsa bar where you can serve your self as much as you'd like. Quesabirria Tacos: comes with a small Consomme with a large birria taco (soft tortilla not crispy) Sauces: They are different than what you're used to. Love it that you have the option to or a small plate. I had the small plate chicken enchiladas. I order one enchilada with shredded chicken ( alternative was grilled chicken). It came with rice and beans. When the plate came it had me when it was piping hot! The red sauce on it was delicious. Not watery or tasteless or real spicy. It was probably the right amount but I'm the type that like my stuff swimming in sauce. The chicken was not dry and there was lots of it. There was lots of rice and beans, and I ended up taking half of them home. Next time I'll just have to order two enchiladas because now I have nothing to eat with my rice and beans. I like that there was a self serve chip area. A lot of place just put a small dish on the table and if you want extra they charge you. There was also an area for different sauces you can try. My friend had a coke and went to fill up her cup. She regretted it when I mentioned they had bottled Coke behind the counter. She hadn't noticed. Already looking a5 menu for next time. My daughter is suggesting the birrea. She said her husband loved that here. Outside there's a drive up but it's only for food that was phoned in or ordered online. Great friendly staff and delicious tacos. The chorizo was my favorite. They have unlimited chips when you eat in with a well stocked salsa and pickled veggies bar...it's my new favorite taqueria in the area...I went again two days later . Food was delicious! The Quesabirria Tacos & Consome was amazing. Haven't had a Quesabirria Taco that good in a while! Instantly reminded me of East L.A. on the first bite. So good I forgot to take a picture. Lol Ordered a few other tacos like the Chili Verde, Al Pastor, & Carne Asada. Also ordered the Torta with Carnitas. Chili Verde was perfect. The Al Pastor, Carnitas & Asada were a little dry. But overall, the flavor profiles were there. Nothing that a little salsa couldn't fix. Good Variety of Salsa that was very delicious as well. Bathrooms were clean to include the entire restaurant & salsa bar. The staff were constantly cleaning and checking on customers. Customer Service was great and food came out fast. So glad to have this new local restaurant here in CV! We will definitely be back again. If the meat wasn't dry, I would have definitely given this place 5 stars. I've been coming to this place maybe once or twice a month ever since they opened. I am so happy that they are in Castro valley!! I've never had bad experiences with them and their food is always on point! Good portions and, always super tasty. The staff is always really friendly and always have a good attitude. The owner is also really handsome. lol but, I highly recommended them! They're not for everyone. The place is also pretty good and they have a tv and plenty of seating for families and friends. They have a salsa bar and also, they offer free refills on their soft drinks and chips. I've brought friends and family here and all but two thought they were just okay and the other 98% loved them. This place is semi new to the area at the time that I write my review. So that means that it is new and super clean. So already doing great for that reason. The menu is high tech with pictures and electronics that show all the items very with the best menu I have seen in a long time. Excellent graphics and easy to decide! The tables are family style big woth six chairs table in the front and plenty of seating. I do hope that the city of Castro Valley allows outdoor seating for this place soon. They will probably manage it well. The high school kids will love the super nachos and the taco plate, both a great deal. Expect 10-15 bucks or equal to less than an hour of good, hard work at the Inn-n-Outs. So value is definitely there. The speakers and music was wonderful and put right back to my beautiful hotel I stayed at in Tulum just last spring. For that reason, parents should get a nice refresher but no alcohol yet. It's coming soon. Parking is plentiful so take the whole family out and don't forget the orange sauce on the salsa bar! Woooowza. In fact, the red salsa looks "meh" but it is really good with a hint of chocolate and smoky peppers!! read more

Since they open we have been ordering through Door Dash. Today is our first time at the location for their delicious food. There is at least 10 tables where you can sit and enjoy the meal. Nice young lady at the cashier takes your order and provides a number for dine in. They bring the food to you. While waiting you grab the drinks, self serve and free refill. Get your Salsa Sides ready. You also can get some nice thin krispy tortillas chip while waiting. Lunch order for 3 Nacho Rancheros, delicious with thin crispy nacho with all the ingredients on the top. Carna Asda Fries. No need for any extra salsa or sauces.Tasty as is. Crispy Taco comes with lettuce Super Tacos comes everything no lettuce. All was a great prepare food. Love the Horchata, not water down. The burritos were 3/4 full of beans and rice with the smallest amount of meat and eggs, and no potatoes or cheese.
