This is a small shop tucked away in the corner of a mini strip mall. The reviews were great so we've tried it a few times and our consensus is that it's fine. When you're in a crunch and need/crave Mexican food it's a solid option but we were blown away by the food. I only give it a 4 because I believe in making improvements at all times. However, this is a solid rating. I placed my order and I received it in under 10 minutes. If you're looking for something quick for lunch or dinner, it seems like they will have orders ready for customers. Earlier in the week I ordered 3 tacos: Al Pastor, Tripa Dorada, Lengua. The Al Pastor was good but made on the flat iron as opposed to the rotating vertical spit. The Lengua was good and it was sliced, other places tend to make it chopped in cubes. My highlight was the Tripa, small intestine. I like my Tripa fried, sometimes twice fried. The cook understood the assignment, it was crunchy and it wasn't greasy. Most places make tripa and often it's too chewy and at times greasy. Not here. On my second trip, I ordered: Al Pastor, Pollo (chicken), Chille Relleno (cheese-stuffed pepper), Tripa. The order was consistent with their Al Pastor and Tripa. I've never tried a Chile Rellenó but I'm glad I did. It wasn't huge like I have seen other places make Chile Relleno. It was a good portion but not overpowering. My highlight of this trip was the Pollo. Most places usually make their Pollo fajita like, Tinga like (chicken made with chipotle sauce) or grilled. Not here, their approach to Pollo is to chop it and it works. It finely chopped and you get a good portion. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a combination of white and dark meat. I've always said tacos are not meant to be expensive or upscale and if they are they're meant for special occasions. If you're like me, I'll take tacos any day of the week. The prices are more reasonable than other places in this area and you get your money's worth. Again, they offer more than just tacos. I'm adding this review because the business is small but there were people coming and going and that's always a good sign. Also, images don't do it justice, come check it out for yourself. We stopped here after reading the great reviews on Yelp and were happy we did. The staff who took our order was very helpful and explained the different spice levels. I ordered the verde/green/mild enchiladas: one each of beef, steak, pork and chicken. Each was tasty though the chicken and beef were my favorites; the chicken was well seasoned and moist. The plate came with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. The beans were tasty and I was impressed with the generous portion of sour cream compared to other places. Hot and mild sauces are offered too. Both were good and the red sauce was flavorful as well as spicy. They have outside seating which is a nice space if you want to eat your food there. We'll stop by again to try something else, probably a burrito or tamale. read more

My absolute favorite!! Shredded chicken is seasoned perfectly, so tender, and lots of meat per taco. Red salsa is top tier. Rice and beans aren't my absolute favorite in the area but they're good, I'm just picky. If they participated in a delivery service app like Doordash I would eat it every day. I have a 2 year old and it's hard for me to get there after work by myself. I sent my fiancé whenever I can! They deliver everything I could dream of for a taco from an authentic local spot. Really, really good food at good prices. First off, I love Mexican food. I stuff it in my face just about every chance I get. Thing is, finding Mexican food is easy. Finding good Mexican food not so much. When this place opened near my home I did my usual taste taste and ordered a couple of tacos 1 Mexican, 1 American and a Burrito (just as hard to find really bad Mexican food, amirite?) and Ka-Boom! My only criticism is that they charge .75 extra per taco to Americanize it by adding lettuce and tomato. Firstly, I've never seen that before, ever. Secondly, when the item is 2.50 with meat being the primary cost driver of any taco a 30% bump to toss about 10 cents worth of vegatable matter on it seems ridiculous. Still, nIce family run business and I am happy to see them killing it. Good for them and good for anyone's tastebuds that come strolling through that door of goodness. read more

Another great hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Got the chicken chimi and a steak taco, buddy got the heuvos a la mexicana. We were both floored by how good the food was. The chimi was perfect. Not gussied up with toppings and just fried to perfection. I always use the sauce as an indicator how good a place is and it didn't disappoint. Red sauce had good spice, OK taste.
