A random Taco Tuesday turned into a New Mexican spot for us! My partner and I walked in wanting a quick meal not too far from home. We found this location in the same plaza as the Trader Joe's, what a treat! Upon walking in it was empty so we assumed it would be nasty. We were wrong! It took us about 5 minutes to order. The location was clean, the register was updated and there were no food containers sitting out in the open. Altogether we paid about $55. A little pricey, but we were hungry. It took about 10-12 minutes for our food to arrive, so there had to be more than one cook. The food was hot and fresh. The barria taco shells were fresh, but the meat was old and greasy.....this was a huge yuk factor for me. I won't write Taco Dale off, but I will try another meal next time. Just came in here for a little mid afternoon snack and was pleasantly surprised to see they made really good margaritas. My go-to for tryjng out a New Mexican restaurant is a bean tostada. They had a vegetarian tostada so I ordered it. Very fresh ingredients. A nice layer of refried beans, lettuce, tomato and fresh slices of avocado. The guacamole is nice and chunky. Again very fresh. A very good size portion and delicious. My friend got an Al pastor taco with corn tortillas and was very happy. She said the seasoned marinated meat was very moist and muy delicioso. I was pretty amazed with the service - we had two separate servers come ask us if everything was good and if we needed anything. They were all very nice to us. The place is very spacious and clean. My wife and I decided to check out Taco Dale since it is new in town. We were not disappointed. The counter staff showed us to a table after we ordered at the counter. My wife ordered a torta, and I had a shrimp fajita taco and a steak fajita taco. The food was excellent! I really enjoyed my steak taco. During our meal the manager stopped over to make sure everything was okay. You don't usually find that in a counter service restaurant. I had the carnitas gordita with some shredded lettuce. The soft 'shell' was tasty but somewhat greasy. The carnitas were little rectangular pieces of pork instead of the typical shredded pork but they, too, were tasty. The refried beans and melted white cheese inside the gordita were excellent. For $6.50 it's a very good value. The bean and cheese burrito is terrific as is but even better if you take it home and add some shredded lettuce and Daisy sour cream. read more

This was my first visit to this Taco Dale location. I love that it's closer to my house, yay! Their food prices are fair for the quality of the food. Their customer service is good. They bring out complimentary chips & salsa to your table. I like that they're friendly and have metal utensils unlike the Aurora location. I really wanted to love this spot, instead I got meh... I ordered 2 enchiladas ala cart and very plain, no sauce or cheese to speak of. Hubs got the steak tampequena and it was overcooked and quite small. The guacamole was pretty good but not mashed, just chopped. For us two, small quac, steak and a couple enchiladas and one soft drink it was $53. I think the value at Parilla Burrito down the street is much better, flavors as well. Customer Service Fail- My family & I came here today and ordered $70 worth of food. I ordered a quesadilla and asked if it came with sour cream. The lady ringing me up said yes and with pico & guacamole. (As stated on the menu) Once my food came it didn't include anything. The manager said that the girl who rung us up was new and didn't know and I had to purchase the sour cream, pico and guacamole separately. I told her the menu shows that it's included. She then told me she was the manager and that it was not included if you get the dinner. She continued to argue with me if front of customers. On top of that she went to the table and snatched my already paid for food! I would not recommend this location. If I could give more stars I would. I love the food, especially the chile rellenos (My favorite Mexican dish). The menu choices are expansive, the prices are reasonable and I love that they even serve frozen Margaretas. The service is outstanding, especially Juan. I screwed up my online order big time and he made everything right for me anyway. For a quick service restaurant the ambiance is very good. We had a really good dinner here. Torta Al Pastor- meat was flavorful and the bread was nice and soft. Both the Steak Fajita and Shrimp Fajita Tacos were great. Complimentary chips (served warm) and salsa for the table. We ordered some cheese sauce for the chips as well- it wasn't spicy (which was perfect for me, but my husband found it to be lacking). Had the best steak tacos there today! The service was excellent, they bring you chips and salsa if you dine in. Line got long since it was lunchtime but reps were unfazed and moved the line quickly. My husband loved the fish tacos. Guacamole was some of the best I've ever had and the steak burrito was really good. No fatty bits in the steak and it had a nice char flavor. Inside is pretty basic but they took really good care of us and came by several times to make sure everything was to our liking. We've gone here twice and have been impressed by the the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, the wide menu options including breakfast that is served all day and that they open early. After you place your order and sit down with a number to wait for your food a small basket of fresh tortilla chips and what tasted like homemade salsa was brought to us. No charge. Possibly a new opening feature but still... Both times our food was brought out to us again probably because they weren't busy yet. The booths and tables are spread out and they have Mexican music playing. Both times the owner was there taking orders and clearing tables. He said this is his fourth Taco Dale restaurant. Chicken fajitas consisted of plain flavorless chicken and some barely cooked onion and green pepper with a few slices of avocado. Steak tacos were a miss too as there is just absolutely no seasoning.
