I've not had such good white menudo in a long time! This is the only place I know besides my mother in laws house to make it so good! The broth was clear and clean with a lot of flavor! It was served piping hot with a side of homemade corn tortillas, cilantro, lime and onion. My husband asked for diced serrano as well and they graciously obliged. This taco shop was bigger than we thought and when we went it was packed with ppl eating outside and to go orders. The ceviche was was a little dry and the tostado shells were way too hard that it hurt someone's tooth and we ended up not using them. Carne asada fries were better than some I've tried locally. I should have went to Tacos Mexico! Pollo tacos had 0 flavor. My Asada quesadilla tasted more like ground beef and had a ground beef texture. There was a lot of water on my food from all the lettuce The food is not authentic! It's hardly "Mexican inspired" Bakers has better Mexican food. The salsas had no heat to it either. I just wanna start off by saying that I actually really enjoy eating at this restaurant when it comes to the tacos I've never had a complaint till today. I've tried the Menudo here before and I didn't like it the first time for the same reason i didn't today It just tasted like they don't know how to properly wash the pansa (stomach) before making the Menudo this was my second try and still the same. When you receive your plate of Menudo or Tripa you could literally smell that it wasn't well cleaned because it smells like live cattle/poop. The taco de tripa is what I most looked forward to eat and when I started eating it I instantly tasted the poop my mouth smelled f gross because it wasn't washed well which I was shocked because I knew the menudo was like that but this is my first time that I try the tripa and the same thing happens because I always eat tripa here extra dorada (extra fried) and still just poor cleaning skills before actually cooking the food which is a big no no and this is coming from someone who cooks Mexican food as well. Maybe try washing the menudo with sea salt and a little vinegar because whatever is being done is not cutting it. -loyal customer. read more

Customer service is horrible. Completely ignored requests, and did not acknowledge customer needs. The food overall is good, but there were so many flies, and the ambiance was neutral. I would try to ask for stuff, and I'd get completely ignored. It was 87 degrees and they didn't turn on the air or open doors. I probably won't go again in a long time. read more

Not all tacos are created equal and this place was so disappointed. Wanted Mama Lolis but it was closed so I took a chance and drove here. IT took them 20 minutes to make 4 street tacos. The pollo is hard as a rock, seems like it's been sitting for days and the carne asada has zero flavor. At least the rice is decent. I would've done better off going to the el pollo loco drive thru, I suggest passing on this place. read more

My wife and I decided to come here and we were glad we did. The tacos are very good. I ordered two Asada to start and went back to get al pastor and more asada. The meat was fully cooked and not tough. My son is very picky with carne asada tacos and he loved them also. Highly recommend. Will continue to come. My wife and I just found this place on Yelp and decided to pick up some food and give it a try. We are always on the hunt for good street tacos and usually leave disappointed. Tonight this was not the case, dinner was great! The meat had excellent flavor and was good quality there wasn't big fatty pieces. The beans and rice we also delicious, and my wife was a huge fan of their avocado crema and green salsa. She said the avocado crema had a really good flavor and that the green salsa wasn't very hot but also had a really good flavor. The place was clean, staff was nice and quick. We have found our new favorite High Desert spot and will definitely be back to try more food! read more

The reason why I'm giving this a 2 is because this was our first time visiting this place and the service we received was horrible. The lady in the front was not happy to serve us. She seemed as if we were bothering her by asking about certain items in the menu. When we asked her for salsa she just threw it in the page. Tacos are fire , price is good little street tacos, the salsa is a little too spicy, not a medium one for people who can't take the heat. They have fresh grilled Chile's and onions on deck and the PIÑA juice is also fuego! Cali burrito is good here, so many options in the area for Mexican food was hoping this new little shop in the corner of the parking lot of a gas station would be a "hidden gem" but it was average, good not great, although the first time I had it it was really good they had just grilled the meat it took a while but it was awesome, massive portions as expected. read more

Saw this place was crowded while driving down Main St., so hubby and I decided to try it. Very small, crowded and few tables inside the restaurant. They do have a outdoor patio area with tables. We decided to take our order home. Service was without a smile. Could of been because they were busy. Small salsa bar was okay. Ordered tacos de tripa, asada, al pastor and chicken. Food tasted decent. Prices are okay, not cheap or expensive. Would I come back? Probably. Would I go out of my way to come here? Probably not. I grew up on homemade Mexican food. My standards are high and I know what to expect. This wasn't it. I'm still on the look out for great Mexican food out here in the desert. read more
