Great food, tortillas are my favorite - they are so amazing, Carnitas perfect! My family and I love this spot

Absolutely no stars! Health inspectors need to make a stop at this place ASAP! My family bought menudo to-go from here, when they got home they prepared their menudo and began to eat. The menudo was SOURRRR!! The meat was rancid! So they took the menudo back to return and the owner argued with them saying he would not give a refund because he could not resell it due to there being chili in it. Sir, whyyyyy would you even think about reselling something that was spoiled?! Whether it's a returned item from someone dinning in or a take out order you shouldn't be reselling it once it was in front of another customer! How gross! Anyway, the owner argued with my family for a while until the customers in the restaurant started asking my family about the issue then he finally decided to refund them. read more

They do not stand behind the quality of the food they give you the run around when you try to get it fixed you show up and they treat you like you're trying to run a scam when all you want is your food to be enjoyable my burrito had a tortilla that tasted like it was cooked on a surface with onion and I'm allergic the beans were burnt and it's going on 3 days and still I have not yet been helped but they kept my food but will not refund my money and I've drove there wasted more time after I was told to come back and it would be fixed only to be told to come back again tomorrow and they treat u like your trying to get a free meal I just wanted to eat something the way I ordered it and be edible read more

We also got a torta, which bread was soggy of oil, 2 fish tacos which were overly fried as well as the shrimp taco and a burrito which was HUGE but when my son took a bite oil just stared dripping down. I will say their tamales de elote where very good, reason they are getting a 2 star. I really hope it was just a bad day and time but unfortunately we spend a long time waiting for the food hoping we finally found a good hidden spot but we were un able to eat (besides the tamales) because of how much oil everything else was drenched in. In conclusion I do recommend the tamales de elote but everything else we got I don't, I hope they can correct this for future clients . read more

My husband and I went there. I ordered chicken nachos and he ordered 1 carne asada 1 chicken 1 al pastor taco. Tacos fell apart due to drenched in oil. All of our meat was seasoned less. No flavor on any meat. Disappointing. No one was there , which now we know why . It is 100 degrees outside and they had no air on in their dinning area. Flies everywhere. Will not return. read more

Long story short... I ordered food to go. Started eating my food half way thru the second taco I notice there's mold on my tortilla . I check the third taco mold! I call to let them know amd they Saud they want the whole plate back. But I ate some of it. She said the owner wants to see the entire plate. We went back and forth. Instead they could have said bring what you have and we will replace it they fought me the whole way. How about making sure your food is up to date before you get people sick. How about you check your food product before you sell it. The problem with small business owners like them is they have horrible customer service and refuse to own up to their mistakes when it actually comes to one. I deleted my good review and left this one instead. Had they been willing to fix it I wouldn't be writing this right now. Good place, would not say the best, but you will be happy. I am always returning to this place, and will continue to do as long as they keep up with the same quality and results i expect from them. Try them out, won't hurt. The quesadillas taste amazing, specially when you add extra cheese, extra charge too! The buritos are good too, tacos as well. Don't come here expecting high expectations, a lot of people have too much high expectations from the beginning, leave that behind and you will enjoy food much better. Happy tummy, happy life. This place gets five stars only for its tacos. Hands down the best variety if street tacos we have in the high desert. I love this place. I take everyone there. On and they have the best Michelada I found up here. Even the shrimp cocktail is amazing. Everything is priced perfectly the salsa bar is my favorite and I love taking my family here in Taco Tuesday we even order out somestimes. It's never to crowded in there and there is space for groups I think they might even offer a breakfast They have the space and the setup. Came here simply for a couple tacos. Wifey had a taste for hard shell tacos tonight. I ordered 3 hard shell beef tacos & 1 shrimp taco. I asked for NO Crema on any of them. I get home and there is CREAMA on ALL of them.... The shrimp taco was absolutely DISGUSTING & uneatable GREASE, GREASE and unclean GREASE. This is just to start. The other 3 beef hard shell tacos were beef & potato which is ok if I requested that. and they all had CREAMA which I asked for it not to be on it. My son ordered a Carne Asada Burrito w/ cheese that was OK, but guess what? NO CHEESE!!! Come on guys! $30 & I feel like I just got robbed. Honestly this was a $30 donation because you will never get another penny from me. You'd think if someone owns a business they would want the customer to atleast be somewhat satisfied with there order. How she rushed me out of there I felt like they were about to close. Quality of meat the last 3 times really fell off. The chicken chunks in the taco were half clear and old and hard. The carnitas was the same, half hard and dry. I ordered for my kids plain carnitas flautas I even asked twice for plain - but they came in corn tortillas filled with potato paste and covered with sour cream and veggies. It was so wrong If you make a new batch of meat, don't throw the 4 hour old meat in with it! I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I called in an order and went in 2 times in person and the last 3 times it was bad. Can't say I'll come back anymore. Which sucks they had the best salsas. read more

Cashier was rude as hell like always . We come here because we love the food but that lady that takes orders is rude AF almost makes you feel uncomfortable and scared to add anything to the order . She acts like she Doesn't know how to use the cashier to remove or add items she says that everytime you'd think after working there for years she'd know " how to use the cash register " the food is great but services is horrible and not by all staff just her . You guys need to hire more ppl friendly people she's rude and Doesn't make the experience enjoyable. And lady if you're reading this I really suggest you fix your attitude towards ppl that go into that business because of you ppl will not return. read more

This was my first visit and I think the pictures speak for themselves!!!! as I was scrolling through other pictures from other reviewer's looks just about right, looks like it's a normal thing that happens all the time or maybe this is just their style of plating. either way wasn't worth my money or my time, very disappointed all my meat was shoved to one side of the box. no cilantro no onions no nothing on my tacos!!! my receipt clearly said everything on them, I even asked the lady if maybe their tacos were set up to be made like a "build your own taco" lol when I called to complain the lady (Mona) was very sorry and was willing to make it up but after looking at the pictures on other reviews looks like this shit happens all the time definitely will not be going back really really really disappointed I can't even say anything more. Great little taco shop!! Tried several different meats here and they ALL had great flavor and were tender! Not only that their carne asada is almost 100% gristle free!!!! So hard to find that. Their carne asada fries and nachos are great. Minimalistic in terms of toppings but that's also what makes it so great the meat speaks for itself and the chips are fresh light and crispy! They offer a wide range of chili sauces that range from non spicy tasty to burn and clear out both ends. With good flavor on all of them in between! So happy to have found this place. Way better than several of the trucks in the HD and way better prices!!! read more
