I love this place! I go every now and then to get asada tacos and they are my absolute favorite. I do have to admit that I've gotten the asada fries and they didn't live up to what I imagined after I had the tacos. The wait isn't too long, they get your food out in a decent time compared to the amount of people who are there. I will continue ordering from them! read more

Carne asada nachos were not edible. They used bagged chips and it lacked flavor. We are big taco truck/food truck supporters but this place really had nothing good. While most of us stood in a long line to order, certain customers walk up to the delivery window, ordered and got their food ahead of everyone waiting. It happened several times. Love this place!! it's super affordable and you pay for what you get. they have a variety in meats and let you pick and choose. Have been a fan for a while now and the owner is super cool. Always will come around to say hi or get to know you. One thing I can say is dont sleep on their asada fries!! add in all the veggies and sauces, and its amazing. Worth the $7. And all of his tacos are $1.50 each which is a great price. We used to enjoy getting tacos from this vendor. However, the last few times we've ordered lunch, the request for crispy trepas has been ignored and the guy taking our order is so rude. He speaks at a low volume like it's a bother and too much to ask for him to speak up, and when we pick up the food at the other window my husband always says thank you, have a good day, etc. etc., but he never gets a response. These tacos are sooo good! The tripas tacos were amazing: well cleaned tripe and cooked to perfection; a little crisp and chewy. The cabeza tacos were soft and well seasoned. Went with my family as a stop between games. We ordered asada, adobada, lengua and tripa tacos and they were terrible. First of all, how do you mess up asada that bad as a taco truck? That is a staple in any Mexican cuisine and the meat was full of fat, oily and not flavorful. The adobada wasnt even edible. Tasted like ground beef with chicharrón seasoning of some sort and the meat just fell apart in your mouth?? Those were the worst but nothing was even average. I also ordered a pineapple water. It was supposed to be fresh, made of fresh fruit like they authenticity are. We even asked if this was the case and we're told it was. What I got was basically dole canned pineapple juice. So disappointing. Also asked and PAID for extra salsa on the side and it was not even included in our Order. Wanted to support a small business and was excited to see this taco truck in its location but it's clear that if your looking for authentic food or just something to get you by, this place is not worth it. AT ALL. I hate to say it, but will not be recommending to anyone and I hope you all do not have the same experience. read more

Let me tell you. I know a thing or 2 about taco trucks. When my family and I moved to Clovis, I missed the authentic Mexican food trucks from Fresno. Always had to drive across town for good Mexican food. Started attending Clovis Community College and on my way home, saw this taco truck on willow and shepherd. Needless to say I made a U turn. First thing I loved was That they had yellow tortillas for the tacos. Secondly it was very clean for being a taco truck. Third thing I loved was their little salsa bar with the veggies. You customize your order with the vegetables that you want. Tony the owner was very nice and welcoming and the lady taking the orders at the window is a sweetheart. I tried their tacos and they are delicious. Bomb burritos too!!. Delicious Guacamole and green salsa. As for anybody else who had a negative experience With the actual staff there, that's pretty shocking to me as I've always been greeted with respect and a smile and so has everybody else that has come before and after me While I have been there. Tony the owner is always interacting with the customers and making sure that everyone is taken care of. As far as the wait goes, it is a pretty popular hotspot but it's nice to know that the food is worth the wait because you get everything grilled fresh.
