No fancy meats, just the standard asada, pastor, carnitas and chicken. So I opt for the asada. One sauce per 2 tacos. Red or Green. So I go for red usually for the spice. The salsa had a good spice to it, usually a lot of reds aren't spicy at all. Service was fast because it isn't that busy. Located on the corner of McKinley and Clinton at the Shell gas station. My husband and I stopped by to try. My husband was the one who ordered. No prices posted on their menu. We ordered 3 tacos (pastor and asada) and one asada sopes all totaling to a pricey $18. Waited about 15-20mins. First off the food was actually pretty good. The sopes was huge and loaded almost covered the whole plate with so much flavor. The tacos were also very good the meat was seasoned well. Came with 3 salsas all pretty spicy the red sauce and guac was good the green salsa tasted like it was old/spoiled. Our only complaint was the service. The man with glasses taking the orders doesn't have the best customer service skill which makes the visit unappetizing. After my husband ordered and paid the guy was giving him a hard time with his change. My husband asked for his change and the guy said he will give it later. Which make NO SENSE when the transaction already happened how is it so difficult to give the change right after. There were other diners there and he didn't give them a hard time. My husband asked if the guy did that to them and they all said no he gave them their change right way. While waiting for our food my husband asked again and the guy said that he told him he'll give it later. The man gave no explanation as to why he couldn't give $2 worth of change right away. We were definitely a bit annoyed. He eventually gave it up there was no reason for that kind of attitude a simple explanation would be nice too since he had not problem giving other their change at the appropriate time. Overall the food was without a doubt good but because of our interaction with this guys we probably won't be coming back. read more

This place is pretty solid for a quick bite close to the hotels. Chicken burrito $11 plus al pastor taco $3. The burrito was pretty huge and would have been more than filling on its own. Ask for a side of grilled onions and peppers. read more

Food - was tasteless so I wouldn't dub thee as thy Rey. Rey pending is more like it due to the potential. They've got all the ingredients and it smells nice but never hit the palette which for me says add more please. Service was what you'd expect from a truck. Greet, take order, serve, and move on. There was seating so kudos for preparing for a crowd. They are in a good spot so it is expected to have a few stopping and sitting awhile as long as weather permits it. No covering. read more

I've been here several times. The first I watched the young lady take money then start helping to cook without washing her hands. We left. We were in line. Second time I asked for burrito w no beans. Prices seemed fair. Lacked prices on the menus display on the taco stand. We paid $3 for a asada taco & $6 for a good size cheese quesadilla. Kids got filled off quesadillas. Horrible customer service. I called ahead for my food to be done but the time I git there as I would have been on my lunch break. Upon arrival I told the kid I was there for a pick up. He was writing it down and I asked if it was ready he said no. I told him I called it in like 20 minutes ago. He said ya and yu took too much time to come get it. Food is delicious, good flavor, tried the Barbacoa and have no complaint, my only pet peeve is that the guy charging is a Dick with a capital D, I asked him for a barbacoa taco and he said it's 6 bucks, I asked him how big they were the tacos to figure how many I was going to ask for after I tried it and he answered "normal" with home made tortillas, don't expect a pizza for that price. Then I paid and was eating my taco and the tortilla ripped so I asked him for a fork and he didn't have one and gave me a spoon. I finished and ordered two more tacos and went to buy a water because he didn't have any, came back and got my other tacos and started eating them and the tortilla ripped again so I asked him for another spoon and he got upset, he said where's the one I gave you? Expected I guess for me to put the spoon in my pocket or something like that, he gave me a spoon but was complaining that there is no spoons for tacos. I've been looking for my go-to taco stand in Fresno for years. Most places have come short for one reason or another. This place is so delicious you should definitely give it a try. The food truck is a hidden gem right outside the Shell gas station on the NW corner of Peach/McKinley. Their burritos, tortas, and quesadillas are huge. You have the option of choosing handmade tortilla tacos (best eaten warm). Tonight the protein choices were asada, al pastor, carnitas, and chicken. Caution, their tacos come with "chiles toreados" and spicy onions so be sure to request your tacos without them if you don't like spicy food. Unlike many taco stands, I didn't find their food to be heavy on grease and we observed good hygiene practices. The food was so delicious I forgot to take pictures. They had a good amount of foot traffic, you've gotta try this place. read more
