Their birria tacos are by far the best I've ever had in Fresno. Previously I had lengua, cabeza, and asada tacos. But their tripas is by far my favorite. Their tripas hold their crisp and crunch. Went on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m. They were busy with a school bus of kids eating lunch. However, even though they were slammed, they were still able to get out our food in time. I order a carne Asada burrito, chicken, quesadilla, and a Carne Asada torta. Food was fresh and hot and also very good. The torta was the star of the show. Honestly I was expecting this place to be way better. I came here late after school one evening and grabbed a few tacos and churros to go. I got the adobada and asada. The tacos are only $1.50 so it wasn't a complete waste. They have al the toppings out where you can add them on yourself. The mild green salsa wasn't spicy at all and the red was way too spicy that you couldn't enjoy it. The meat was chopped up into really small pieces. The tacos were small and didn't have much meat on them. After eating mine I still felt hungry. The churros on the other hand were amazing. Fresh and crispy. Definitely worth the $2. read more

This review is strictly for their lengua tacos! This is my absolute FAVORITE spot for LENGUA tacos! Most places I have tried, the lengua has little to no flavor. I don't know how these guys season/cook theirs, but it is consistently delicious. The lengua is always tender and has never been chewy/stringy or anything else bad. We had Taco Boys cater a family party for about 50 people. Their food was exceptionally tasty, reasonably priced, and well received by everyone at the party. They served chicken, beef (asada) and pork (adobada) tacos along with rice, beans, a selection of salsas and horchata and lemonade as beverages. Service was quick, everyone got full, and the truck as a hit. I would strongly recommend them for catering any function. read more

I came here for an afternoon snack and ordered a kid's burrito. The sign on the front of the truck stated it'd be $6, however, when the cashier rang it up, he said it was $7 since prices had gone up and noted they might have the put the wrong sign up today. Umm... ok. I ordered a kid's burrito with carne asada with rice and no beans (the burritos come with rice and beans... I just didn't want beans). Because of COVID, there's only takeout fore the food trucks, so I brought my food back home, and to my surprise... they gave me a BEAN AND CHEESE BURRITO. No asada. I LOVE their Asada tacos !!! So happy they are here at this location AND they are here from Thursday to Sundays from 6 pm to midnight!! I used to go to the one on Willow and Shepherd but they are only there on Saturdays and Sunday mornings. They have a " fixing table " at this location which includes chopped cilantro , chopped cabbage , pickled jalapeños peppers , lemon wedges , onions and three different sauces. The one on Willow doesn't have the fixing table. The red sauce is SUPER hot!!! My mouth was on fire , lol. And I can take the heat , I love spicy food and this was truly hot for me. Mexicans should know to add more meat than what they gave me. If you order 3 tacos usually, think about ordering 5 because you will be hungry after! The $5 torta only has beans and meat... where is the lettuce, cheese, avocado. Tripa is hard as a rock:/ The red salsa is tooooo spicy. At least put a warning sign to these Clovis folks. TLDR; zero reason to try this truck. Bad food, low quality meat, tasteless. My usual choice of food trucks weren't at the normal location today so I decided to try this one instead. What an awful decision. Carne Asada burrito was bland and the meat appeared to be of lower quality, essentially ground beef. Passing off ground beef as carne Asada is a sticking point for me, especially in this area where there are great Mexican food choices everywhere. Simply inexcusable. I also tried a Chili Verde taco and an Adobada taco. They were all this awful ground meat consistency which makes no sense. Not to mention they were bland and tasted way too similar which, again, makes no sense for these kinds of meats. There's 200 better options in Fresno. Look elsewhere. read more

First of all I would like to say my burrito was fabulous , nice and spicy .I had a lengua tripa combo not for the faint-hearted it comes out medium spicy but I like it that way. That being said I asked the taco master if he could grill a jalapeno for me on the side and he actually told me they did not have jalapenos...really? ! ...at an authentic taco truck? He proceeded to say if I had jalapenos I would be out of them. I responded yes that is why you should have them.. and he looked at me blankly. Next time I hope he will have jalapenos because some of us gringos like them!. For a 1.79 a lb you can get about 15 jalapenos and charge $0.50 a piece for them..worst case. This was my go to spot until I asked for extra salsa on the side. They could of simply said no but made a whole scene about it. I understand you already place it on the tacos but I wanted extra. They can easily change an extra fee for extra salsa. Im not the only person who has experienced this, reading other reviews. My husband and I have been hitting up the food trucks over by Enzo's Table (at Willow/Shepherd) every other weekend lately. He's been singing the praises of Tacos Boys for months, and grabs every opportunity to get some adoba or asada tacos whenever we're in the area. Last week we finally dropped by early enough int he day to try their breakfast burrito: a standard-sized, chewy flour tortilla, soft and buttery potatoes, and eggs cooked in chorizo. I came to this taco truck for the first time and definitely will be my last. The guy knew it was my first time so I ordered 2 orders of tacos (each come with 3 tacos), a burrito, and a churro. After I got in the car, I realized he never gave me the churro. That wasn't the worst part. When I actually calculated what I should have paid: $1.50 for each taco, $5 for the burrito, and $2 for the churro, he actually over charged me by $5 as he said my total was $21 when it should have been $16!
