The meat is chopped into super small pieces
Steffie P.

Honestly I was expecting this place to be way better. I came here late after school one evening and grabbed a few tacos and churros to go. I got the adobada and asada. The tacos are only $1.50 so it wasn't a complete waste. They have al the toppings out where you can add them on yourself. The mild green salsa wasn't spicy at all and the red was way too spicy that you couldn't enjoy it. The meat was chopped up into really small pieces. The tacos were small and didn't have much meat on them. After eating mine I still felt hungry. The churros on the other hand were amazing. Fresh and crispy. Definitely worth the $2.

Taco boys catering a family party
Dean M.

We had Taco Boys cater a family party for about 50 people. Their food was exceptionally tasty, reasonably priced, and well received by everyone at the party. They served chicken, beef (asada) and pork (adobada) tacos along with rice, beans, a selection of salsas and horchata and lemonade as beverages. Service was quick, everyone got full, and the truck as a hit. I would strongly recommend them for catering any function.

Taco Boy's !!! Yay

I LOVE their Asada tacos !!! So happy they are here at this location AND they are here from Thursday to Sundays from 6 pm to midnight!! I used to go to the one on Willow and Shepherd but they are only there on Saturdays and Sunday mornings. They have a " fixing table " at this location which includes chopped cilantro , chopped cabbage , pickled jalapeños peppers , lemon wedges , onions and three different sauces. The one on Willow doesn't have the fixing table. The red sauce is SUPER hot!!! My mouth was on fire , lol. And I can take the heat , I love spicy food and this was truly hot for me. Anyways , looks like I'll be hanging out here a lot from now on. :)

Great food. Best truck in town. Their asada tacos are amazing. No wonder it's the busiest truck in the area.

Solid, don't get the haters on here. But I've only had the chicken and carnitas. The salsa is good. Like it's a solid salsa for our area.

Horrible bland Mexican food. They are so greedy with the meat and the fat workers are so rude. They definitely dont know what they're doing.

"Super" Nachos are just like 7-11's. Round soggy chips with a bucket of nacho cheese sauce. Not good, not good at all

A friend recommended we come here for lunch. Its a little bit of a drive for us, but we agreed. Boy…read moreare we glad we did! The waitress was super friendly and helpful. The shop was tidy and clean. The hubs ordered a burrito and I got the chili relleno with beans and rice. They offer complimentary chips and salsa. I'm a wuss about heat and ut was perfrct for me. Our friend is 3/4 lava monseter asked for a hotter salsa and they were happy to do so. This is where I mentioned that I live life with a service doggo. This place gets 4 paws up! No issues, the floor is clean and there is room for my girl under the tables. The food came out after a short wait. Oh, my! The burrito was huge! And looked so good! My plate came out and was also very delicious looking. We dug in and the table got real quiet. The kind of quiet that settles in when people are busy feeding their pie holes with good food. The hubs really enjoyed his burrito and while tge relleno was good, it wasnt my thing. But the beast and rice were lit! Some of the best I've ever had! We have been back and we can add taco salad and tacos to the list of yum. We will be back!!

Meh. I am being generous here with a 3rd star. I think this place means well, but this restaurant…read moreseems to be missing leadership and execution in their dishes. To be fair, my wife and I didn't stray too far off the menu as we were only mildly hungry and wanted to give this place a shot. To start , they offer you a basket of tortilla chips dusted with seasoning and a pretty good red salsa. These chips and salsa were exactly what you can find at Toledo's up the street. I was in the mood for breakfast so I opted for the chorizo and eggs with beans and their homemade corn tortillas. Not great, but edible. The service was spotty as we had to order a side of corn tortillas from 3 different people with no success. I might come back to try more menu items , but from what I experienced on my first visit- it may be a while before I do.

Machaca breakfast burrito for the win!…read more I've been to Miguel's many times and I love literally everything on the menu and could drink their homemade salsas. With all my visits, I have never tried one of their breakfast burritos. I ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito and this baddie was huge. Fully loaded with eggs, cheese, and tons of machaca. Machaca is fried shredded beef mixed with onions and peppers and one of my favorite mexican breakfast dishes. Pair this burrito with their Taco Truck verde salsa or their Sunset Salsa, a medium salsa, and you'll be in beefy heaven. Order via DoorDash for pick up and it was ready at the exact time it was stated!

We went about 6 PM so not sure if going to a different time would've made a difference. The service was pretty good. There was only two people working. The gal that helped us didn't know how to add my points to their point system and had some issues with the register, she was OK. My wife has the chicken tacos I had the asada. We both left Mexican food, and we both feel that we are very fair when it comes to the food value and the taste. As far as the taste, the meat tacos were a little rough and gum like, probably from sitting out too long. The chicken tacos actually fell apart as my wife was eating them, and the chicken was very, very overcooked so again, probably sitting too long inside the burner. They do not have the right ABC license so you can't drink alcohol and eat hair even though you're sitting inside a liquor store. Overall an okay place, there's so many selections of Mexican food in Clovis, this one was so so.
