Unfortunately: Overpriced, Habitual Scammer For what it's worth, here's my experience dining here on occasion over the past couple years. I first noticed an inaccurate charge last year. After a few more experiences, I can now conclusively say that the leader (the cashier), as a standard business practice, intentionally overcharges (on already overpriced menu items). TLDR: I order medium drinks and he charges for large, assuming I won't ask for a receipt or assuming that he can play it off as just "accidentally" charging for a large. Details: In this latest instance, I ordered a meal and a *medium* drink. He verbalized that my total was $20 and change. He charged my credit card. I asked for the receipt after he didn't offer it. The receipt showed I was charged $21 and change. Perhaps he thought I said a large drink because the total came out to exactly what the total should be had I ordered a large drink. Alas, when my order came, it was a medium drink with *medium* written in the leader's/cashier's order slip for the cook. When I said to the cook that I actually paid for a large drink, showing my credit card receipt, he showed the leader's/cashier's note (which said medium) to the leader/cashier, and the leader/cashier guy quietly said to the cook to go ahead and give me a large drink... The leader/cashier thinks his quiet moves will not be known to the public and will just go away in silence... not so fast, unkind, unclever, unfortunate one! I'll not ever go to this food stand again and will mention this to my colleagues and students at the adjacent school. ¡¡Fuiste!! read more

Still bomb. From the meats to the salsa to the tortillas. Quesabirria and super burritos are highly recommended. I would pass on the pico in the burrito if you aren't going to eat it right away or will be door dashing it as it can make it a bit soggy. I was excited to try this spot but I was a bit disappointed. There's no parking in the Shells FYI so you have to park in the neighboring plaza. I ordered an Al pastor super burrito and a tripas tacos. The tripas taco was disappointing, there was barely any meat on there and after looking at others photos of their tacos idk if I got skimped out on. The meat itself was alright it was crispy, but chewy. The Al pastor burrito also had very little meat and a lot of rice but it was a decent size. The food quality and taste here is amazing. They have that just right crisp shrimp cook. The flavor is unmatched from any burrito I've had. The lil grilling of the tortilla is perfect. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos/burrito once again. The owners are also very nice. Ambiance is just street food. The jamaica drink was so good too, not artificial at all. I decided to give this taco truck a try and ordered two carne asada tacos and it was a big disappointment. I should've taken a photo because there was barely any meat or onions and cilantro on it. Hm....we saw this taco truck in the parking lot right next to Sprouts and decided to give it a try. Service wasn't very friendly, but whatever - I'm here for some good tacos. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I've never had a taco that didn't taste decent at the very least...but the tacos here tasted like nothing - very bland and tasteless. We ordered asada, pastor, and tripas and they all tasted the same oddly enough. They were also very stingy with the salsa, which turned out to be lacking flavor as well and quite spicy. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but I don't think I'll return to confirm when there are many other good taquieras nearby. read more

I've had this taco food truck many times and it's my go to taco truck. It is next to a shell gas station which is nice you can eat some tacos and fill up your gas. There is seating available under an outdoor roof. The workers there are super nice and the tacos come out pretty fast unless there is a long line. The tacos are absolutely delicious. They don't skip out on the filling and they give u lime, pepper, onion, and radish with it. The salsa is very delicious especially the orange one. They usually give you an orange salsa and a green salsa with the order. read more

Let me tell you, for being the first time having queso birria tacos this place hit the mark! Tacos were crispy, cheesy and meaty! The consomé was so flavorful, literally just drank it out of the cup!! I was actually craving the torta and although huge the bread was too big and too much! I ended up tossing half of the bun out. I work near here, and love their pollo, asada & quesabirria tacos. There is something about the tortillas that I love. They're soft, they hold up, and they always seem fresh. The staff is sweet and food is fast. It's a food truck, in a parking lot, at a gas station, so temper your expectations. But they have a small tented area with chairs & tables, and today, they had little pails of candy on the tables. Love the little extra sweetness! read more

San Jose and South Bay Area is known for its tacos and Latin/Hispanic foods. This place; avoid it. The "super burrito" was lacking avocado/guacamole, which isn't a deal breaker, but is very atypical of a super burrito. The flavor. Bad. Over seasoning and bitter with cumin and garlic. The pico de gallo has an over ripe; non-fresh citrus taste to it- likely from old or over ripe lime juice. The rice, boring, and again has that over saturation of what tastes similar to cumin. The asada, has zero flavor other than garlic powder. Tortilla is grilled crispy, not in a good way. It's over done. I have come here three times now as I work out at the gym next door, and every time I am disappointed. AVOID. read more

Stopped at the Shell in Mtn View to grab a late lunch at this food truck upon arriving in town for work. Great decision! Burrito Al pastor & order of fries were delicious! Burrito was large and packed with rice, beans, peppers & pork. So good. Served up in less than 5 mins for $18. Great value. read more

Stopped by last weekend after playing some 2-hand touch football at Fremont High. Quesobirrias and dipping sauce was very tasty! My boys enjoyed a couple asada tacos and scarfed'em down! Friendly and appreciate owners, food came out quickly, fair prices. Definitely returning. read more

Tried these guys out because they were on my way home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I made the right decision. Ordered a variety of tacos for me and some other people including the asada, pastor, birria, and pollo. They were all very solid. The tortillas seemed homemade and didn't crack and crumble like at other places. They also gave plenty of side salsa and extra jalapeños. They were super friendly too.
