Food: all the tacos we ordered were supppperr delicious. I was surprised by the quality of the food here because I didn't expect much from Grand Junction tbh. My favorite was the yellowtail tempura taco. It was super crispy and packed with flavor but not too overwhelming. The Al Pastor is also good but there were a lot of pork fat and the sauce is adobo and it was an explosion of flavor but it can get a bit too saucy ngl. The birria was super crunchy and packed with meat. The sauce that came with the birria was also delicious. My least favorite was probably the pulled pork because I'm not a big fan of beans, but if you like beans, then I'd recommend you order this. In terms of portion, they're about palm size. I ordered 3 for myself but I could have definitely eaten more. Location: it's located in downtown Grand Junction so it's a very good location since there's plenty of other things to do in downtown. Parking: We came on a Saturday night around 6-7pm and we were able to find parking easily (surprising for downtown). There's parking meter so parking may not be free depending on when you go but if you go later at night, most spaces should be free parking. Customer service: staff was friendly and helpful. They all looked happy and welcoming so it was a good vibe. The only downside was that food took a little bit long but it was kinda busy so it's not a big deal Misc: They automatically charge an 18% gratuity fee so just beware of that. Also some of their tacos come in sets of 3 (birria and grilled trout) so if you want to order those and have a variety of other tacos, you will need to bring someone else along to share with. There was seating when we went but it can be limited especially since we came in a Saturday night but I'd imagine there would be more seats available during off peak hours. Overall experience: I had a great time and the food was delicious. Next time I come to Grand junction, I'll def be sure to come here again. read more

Whenever we are in Grand Junction, we head to Taco Party. Last time I was here it was closed even though Yelp and the door sign said they would be open. But we made it this time and met a longtime friend to share some tacos and drinks. The fried yam and cauliflower tacos took center stage this time - both delicious and interesting. I also had a yellowtail tempura taco and a bison taco and both were tasty. My husband got the Hot Fried Chicken taco which I've had in the past and it did not disappoint. The ingredients are locally sourced as much as possible and the flavors are always deliciously different. The margaritas are fabulous and just tart enough to make me not guzzle it. My friend had the orange wine, and I wasn't a fan, but she loves it and had 2 glasses! I also recommend the soft serve - we didn't get it this time, but usually this is how we end the meal and it's always worth the extra calories! This is the best food I've had in Grand Junction so far. It can get pricey if you're hungry, but every taco was absolutely delicious! We tried four different tacos and each one was phenomenal. Chips were fresh with a huge bowl of flavorful salsa. Service was friendly and margaritas were tasty. Next time I'd skip the salt on the rim though. I know this review should be food related but I had to start off by saying that the staff there, from the guy taking the order to the person dropping of the food, was just just awesome. Genuinely friendly. The guacamole was amazing. The most flavorful restaurant made guacamole hands down. It has layers in flavors and the spicy was just right for "mild" that we ordered. Taco party! Yes please!! Such a gem for a short early dinner stop en route to Aspen. I highly recommend the detour to this trendy new place. This place is actually a combination of burger shop and taco place.. sounds weird but oddly works well. My kiddos were thrilled that they could get hot dogs...while adults were ecstatic about the taco options. Fried chicken taco was fantastic and the guacamole is very tasty. I especially loved the warm homemade chips that came with the guacamole. The wagyu beef tacos were good but the steak was a bit too chewy for my taste. The fried artichokes with garlic aioli dip were very original. They had premixed cocktails to prevent extra touching for Covid. I had the pink drink (vodka based) which was very refreshing. They have a restaurant area that is comfortable & conveniently separated for parties & couples as well as the individual diner. I ordered tacos & guacamole to-go after pursuing their menu, the staff was helpful and the cook makes beautiful food, even for to-go. There is an 18% service charge that acts as a gratuity, basically your tip is built into your total price for your meal. I did not have a problem with the service fee because the server remembered me on site and immediately went to bring me my to-go order. While I usually tip 20%, if there is a mandatory service fee applied, I believe the service fee should not exceed 18% because tipping is usually not mandatory. read more

The people are lovely. They are really kind and nice and cheerful. The food however makes me feel sick. I have tried eating there a number of times and each time I find it incredibly greasy with seed oil, they have a soft serve ice cream, which is always way too much sugar, and in general, it's kind of food that doesn't make you feel good or healthy after eating it. I really wish restaurants would stop using seed oil that is absolutely proven to wreck havoc on our health. Maybe they could offer a big salad for those of us that enjoy their atmosphere , but don't want to harm our bodies that kind of food. read more

What a great find in Grand Junction! Tacoparty sounds exactly like what you'll be having when you visit, cause they have a great, eclectic selection of tacos to choose from. Some of the highlights included the Wagyu, Al Pastor, and surprisingly, the Yam and Cauliflower options. I normally wouldn't vouch for vegetarian tacos unless I had to, but the Yam one was genuinely a great taco that one should consider, whether they are vegetarian or not. The best thing we had at Tacoparty though might not have been the tacos, but rather they had a really phenomenal Chorizo Tostada, which was perfectly crispy and had a really nice bean puree on it. We also finished with the sweet corn and key lime pie soft serve, which were incredible as well! Plus the portion was very generous, so you definitely don't have to get two like we did!
