Humph!.... Either you do... ? Or You Don't!…read more We wanted to consider a lazy-Susan for a blind-corner. .. our contractor worked with Krafter's land kitchen planner. Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!

As a small business owner that specializes in quality renovations and/or new construction of mid to…read morehigh end Residential housing, this has been my "go to place" ever since I discovered it back around 2005. It's a real lumber yard - meaning you can get all of the stuff your really need for the job, not just "the most common stuff" that the big box stores only sell. They sell to business' and retail, unlike some lumber yards that only sell to other business'. The location is convenient, but kind of hidden in plain sight. It's located on the southern most part of Renton just north of IKEA right next to 167. The sales building is quite small with a larger warehouse behind it. Don't let the lack of physical size fool you, they can get most anything. No brightly lit orange emblem, no massive showroom of flooring, no kitchen appliances, no light fixtures display, etc. Yes, if you need a light fixture, a sewer pipe fitting, a washer machine, a lawn mower, five 2x4's & a house plant; and want to do it at one location, then yes go to a big box store (I often do). But, if you want a semi-truck full of lumber or just a few pieces of top quality specialty lumber like some clear Douglas-fir 1x (in stock) or some 10" real ceder beveled siding in any length you want, all to match your existing craftsmen or vintage home. Your not going to find it anywhere else and it's what attracted me to here to begin with. Their prices are equal or less than the box stores across the board, as well. Because it's not a big box. It's best to call and specifically order the stuff you want and they will get it for you pretty quick. The sales staff are always top notch throughout the whole process and they know what they are talking about. Unlike the ever changing sales people at most box stores. I can't believe I'm only the second to review. This is a true gem of retail that has been overlooked. Hope this helps.

We were very small retail customers given the size of their business but Steven was extremely patient and helpful to a couple of DIY noobs, walking us through their very large yard to look at many different types of wood. One thing to call out: They called us over saying delivery was ready. I drove and loaded up my car only to discover it was the wrong size of wood. Bummer because it was a 40 min ride both ways. So better to call ahead to confirm specs
