They offer the best Horchata I had to date. Average taco price is $5.75 and other meals such as quesadilla or burritos $14 - $16. Portions are average. I am always extremely full with 3 tacos. They have a 3 for $15 special on Taco Tuesday and every week they have a Taco Special which is a taco of the week ($6.75). Those are always very creative and taste amazing! Today they are offering the Crunch Zucchini - with crispy and grilled zucchini, corn, salad, avocado, salsa and red onion. Mmmmmmm! A little hidden gem. Always a pleasant experience (and I have been going there for at least 3 years). I came here today after a few weeks (I usually eat there once every 1-2 months), and found out that now they are serving cocktails and Churros with chocolate and caramel dippings.

It was around the holiday season and it was a battlefield out there with all the tourists getting in our way. After not trying to run over the tourists game, we've finally made it to the stand. We've ordered hopper quesadilla and I've ordered a chicken torta and he ordered a burrito. We were so excited we again went about dodging the tourists on our way back to the office. Finally got back and we ate our lunch. The hopper quesadilla was good. The grasshoppers were crunchy, dry and a bit too salty. It did go better with the guac and salsa. I was able to eat a few bites of it because I had prior experience with eating grasshoppers at another place, which I will go in details in the review on how I handled it. My intern actually really liked the hopper quesadilla and ate most of it. He even wanted to save it for dinner haha. We offered some to the interns and one brave soul did try it and thought it was okay. The other interns probably think I'm a weird supervisor lol. Oh as for my chicken torta, it was HUGE, pretty tasty, and pretty messy. The fillings of the torta kept falling out and I felt like a slob. I mean when we ate the hopper quesadilla the little legs and heads were falling out too, so I guess this was meant to be a messy lunch. They just recently painted their truck to the Mexico flag colors so you can't miss it. Ingenious idea to located right in front of the Mexican embassy so they get a lot of their customers from there. I love their chorizo tacos. They got them tacos with two corn tortilla and decent amount of meat. They give you cilantro and white onions so it's pretty authentic. They give you green sauce and red sauce, but be careful the red sauce is straight up fire. If you don't like spicy, stay away from the red sauce or you'll regret it later being on the toilet later. I also get their beef quesadilla. Tastes pretty good and I like it that they give you good amounts of meat. Make sure to try the tamales as well. They are pretty good. Prices aren't too bad. $3 a taco, $6 for a quesadilla, $2 for a tamale. Make sure to come early around 11:30. If you come later, all the good meats are gone like chorizo and carnitas.
