I'm not a BBQ fan, so I never ate there, but I'll never forget a Yelp review that said, "This is the best BBQ place in a mobile home on the side of the road". It made me laugh and I teased him every time we were in Panama City. When I heard about this place inside of a gas station, I was reluctant, but when we arrived, the gas station was new, modern and clean. The taqueria was large and the menu had all of the staples you would expect in a typical family Mexican place. The special was an enchilada, tostada and rice and bean for $10. I'll repeat TEN DOLLARS. This also came with chips and salsa. I hate to say it, but this was the best Mexican food in a gas station on the side of a road anywhere. Truth is, the food was just really good and the price was unbeatable. I ended up doing something I never do, and that is double dip, after that plate, I ordered 2 tacos. I probably should have stuck with one, because the special was enough, but the flavor and price was so good, I couldn't leave without getting a bigger taste. I don't know if it was brother sister, husband and wife or father and daughter, but the man was cooking and the women was taking orders and serving. This is an area I probably get to once a year, at best, but I would not hesitate to wonder off the beaten path to return. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had in some time and more proof that too many other restaurants are over charging for far worse fare.

They offer a great mix of vegetarian and meat pupusas, and every one I've tried has been consistently good. My personal favorite is their Pollo Tamales. It's a nice little restaurant with really comfy and cute decor that makes it feel like you're in a classic diner. We were seated at a booth fairly quickly and got our drinks and orders in very fast. I got the eggs Benedict and my husband got biscuits and gravy. The meal portions were really generous, with me just barely finishing my meal to push it, abd my husband having some leftovers. Our friend also got a meal that had some biscuits on the side and he had two plates of food coming out, which gave us plenty of leftovers. The eggs Benedict itself had a nice flavor with the sauce and a slightly runny poached egg. It paired nicely with the hashbrowns that had a nice, crispy top and a soft center. The biscuits and gravy had a slight creamy texture paired with a hearty flavor. We were definitely happy with our meals and the amount of food we got! Despite the bad reviews of this specific location on TikTok, we have stayed loyal to this location. Yesterday, I came in to pick up my GrubHub order that I've been looking forward to all day. Mind you, I had just been hyping chipotle up to all my coworkers before I arrived. I line up behind the other customers, and the woman working the counter was insanely rude to me. I didn't even say anything. I waited patiently until she was free to help me. Instead she yelled at me. I genuinely felt like I was being barked at. "What." "What." "Pickup orders are THAT way". "Go THAT way." My body language wasn't threatening, and I didn't even say anything. I've never been treated this way by any retail or food service employee ever. I'm genuinely flabbergasted by how she treated me. The other customers looked terrified for me. I left the store and had to come back because the bottom of my bag was dirty. The guys working digital pickups were kind to me, but when I came into the store she gave me a death stare. Mind you, my food was made and paid for in advance. In no way did my presence at the store require special, extra, or prolonged attention. My family and I will not be ordering from this location anymore, and am extremely disappointed by this employee.
