We decided to give this location a try today and I'm happy to report everything was just as delicious as I remembered my very first Freddie's experience. One of the best burgers in town. I love the thin meat that is squished so thin it's a little crunchy on the edges. Freddie's has THE best pickles. L loves their shoestring fries. Quick and friendly window service. The tables were dirty and not being cleaned between customers which is a big "ew" due to Covid right now. The man that took our order was very kind and energetic. The food came out hot. I love that it's kind of a hole in the wall shop in a strip on Nall. I've never met anyone working there that wasn't nice and funny. I usually walk out smiling with my yummy pretzel item! Good prices too! I think my fave item is the pretzel dog! Even better with cheddar! Go get you some good pretzels!

Having had pizza just a day or two ago I decided to scratch my itch for a Chicago dog. This one was pretty good. I am a purist for the Chicago dog, having lived in the area for a short time. This one is spot on. It's exactly everything that it should be; nothing more and nothing less. If there's a better Chicago dog in the KC Metro, I don't know about it. In my opinion, the Polish sausage with sauerkraut is not only the best deal on the menu, but it is absolutely perfect! They asked me if I wanted a spicy mustard on it and of course that is an automatic yes. The sausage itself was beefy and substantial, and the kraut was excellent and just the right amount. Plenty to taste, but not falling off. Having seen others, enjoying their pizza and Italian beef, I will absolutely return to try at least the beef. Buona in Chicago is my favorite so I look forward to seeing how this stacks up.

The result is a delicious burger so fresh you wonder if the cow is still alive. LOL. Boulevard Burgers is tucked inside the Food Court at Johnson County Community College. They have a lock on burgers because they are the only restaurant in the Food Court that serves burgers. This monopoly, though, does not make them any more expensive or the quality any less. In fact, just the opposite. I think maybe they are the only food company because of their prices and quality. Yum, yum! You order at the small counter. They put the patty on the grill and you can see the whole process. Then you dress it up with fresh, fresh, fresh veggies. They have lettuce, tomatoes, onions and all sorts of goodies. You put your own condiments on your burger which ensures it is to your liking. The menu is limited but that does not seem to be a problem. They have delicious grilled cheese sandwiches on Fridays only. I have no idea why only Fridays but it gives you something to look forward to during a long week. They have veggie burgers, pork fritters, brats, hot dogs, chili dogs and all sorts of yummies. They have fries and delicious onion rings (sucker for onion rings). The staff is always helpful and friendly. They are happy to answer your silly questions and they are also happy to custom cook your food. I have never had a bad customer service experience here. Everything is reasonably priced and they have two price options for burgers. There is a value burger and a regular priced, bigger burger. Small or large... they are great burgers. There is also no doubt as to their freshness. Try it out.. you will not be disappointed.

The bump came when our order was called out and when picking up our bag of burgers and fries, I asked about our shared we ordered and was met with a blank stare and explanation that someone else was supposed to have made the shakes. We weren't planning to eat in and sat there waiting 15 min while the shake situation was rectified and our burgers and fries were cooling down. Fortunately, both were still at a nice temp when our shakes were finally made and delivered.
