Steak burrito with cold rice and cold refried beans

Very disappointed tonight during their restaurant grand opening. Everything in my to go order was WRONG! I waited almost an hour for nothing! I ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son and I got a freaking burrito with a cold rice and cold refried beans. Then for my steak meal, I got 3 steak tacos instead. While for the fish taco, I got nothing. So, I pretty much wasted $22 for those and wasted my time driving 23mins just to be disappointed! Y'all were better when you had the taco truck!!! - so, I got a response back from this business, saying they refunded back everything...that doesn't really change anything and you know what, I deserve to have my money back! After having that first bite of cold food, The food went straight to the trash. My son was hungry because he didn't got his food. So, no thank you, I won't be coming back to this restaurant nor will I order again in their food truck if they decided to have it back.

Right away, as soon as I walk in it felt very familiar, like I was walkibg into any number of authentic taquerias in South Texas. It also smelled incredible in there. Quickly I saw what I wanted to eat: Chile Colorado, which is slowly stewef pork in a delicious red chili sauce. It was one of those dishes I fell in love with when I first had it at El Coyote in LA. Service was very friendly and prompt, and the prices were reasonable. There's a lot more on the menu that I will definitely try. I am looking forward to returning. So if good Mecican cuisine is what you want. Come to Fiesta Azteca!

I ordered the pollo con queso which was smothered in the perfect amount of cheese! Other favorite dishes at this delicious hole-in-the-wall included the verde enchiladas and the chicken salad. Fiesta Azteca serves free fresh salsa and warm chips for the table as an appetizer. If you have the chance to order a margarita, I'd recommend that as well!

The salsa is home made and it's one of the best dips I've had yet. It's easily one of the best places in the area. The staff treat the guests like family too. It's quiet during the day. Prices are absolutely fair. Such great pride is taken into everything. Definite recommend. I would maybe wish the inside and out of the place was more friendly with modern aestheticis so it doesn't appear so divey or run down.

Was disappointed it was NOT fried tacos but corn shells that were fried and then topped. I was pleasantly surprised by the simple toppings of lettuce, tomato, avocado, and cotija. They served with rojo and verde salsa, and salt. Both salsas (with meal and chips, as well as taco beef) were under seasoned, which is always a catch-22 for some. Salsa was extremely tomato flavored, which many like, but it is from a lack of seasoning and roasting. Chips were hard corn based, thick, which is another catch-22. Service was great and friendly but I was up-charged for using a debit card. While municipals rarely make this illegal, almost all credit card companies outlaw it as up-charge for debit should be closer to .03% instead of the 3% they charged me. That puts them at risk of losing their contract with their CC servicer (if caught).
