Definitely recommend this spot if you love fish tacos and shrimp tacos. My ultimate favorite is their fried fish taco - and the portion is huge cuz they give you a big piece of fish & lots of lettuce n tomatoes on top!

I can't believe I'm saying this because I've been to other Taco Nazo locations for years, especially the original in La Puente, but this was actually my first time visiting the Taco Nazo location off Grand across from Mt. San Antonio College and honestly the location is perfect. The second I walked in, it was nonstop customers coming in and out, which is always a good sign. Even with how busy it was, the staff really stood out to me. The best way I can describe them is "bien atentos," like they treat you warmly and make you feel comfortable right away, almost like family. That kind of energy changes the whole experience. The music was great, the vibe felt super homie and welcoming, and overall it just felt like one of those spots people genuinely enjoy coming back to. I ended up getting the taco sampler and it was fantastic. Everything came out surprisingly fast considering how packed the place was, and you could tell the kitchen had a solid rhythm going. It honestly reminded me why Taco Nazo has such a loyal following in SoCal. The only thing I'll mention, and hopefully it improves over time, was the health rating posted in the front. It made me pause for a second, so hopefully that's something they tighten up because the food and overall experience were genuinely really good. Still, I'd definitely come back because the service and atmosphere alone made this visit memorable.

Some of the best fish tacos this side of the border! Tacos are perfectly built. The seasoning in the fish taco crust yummm The cream, crema, sooo good ! Service is great! Be forewarned, if you go on a Friday during Lent, you'll be standing in a line ! Stop by during the week days and enjoy ! Let me know of you've been ! :) Let's be friends ! SYOY

So good! I was a little surprised by the price at first, but the tacos are actually huge and definitely worth it. I got the fish taco combo, and everything was fresh and really flavorful. I'd definitely come back! Great service and ambiance as well.

3 fish tacos! & an al pasto burrito in the corner

Been wanting to try Taco Nazo for years and finally tried it and can't believe I've been missing out all these years! Got 3 fish tacos and my husband got the Al pastor burrito (despite me telling him that they are known for fish tacos) but I was glad we got to try both! Friendly and considerate service, love how they asked us if we wanted cilantro in our food because my husband is not a fan of cilantro. The fish tacos were perfectly fried and crispy, topped with cabbage, salsa, cilantro and crema. They offer green and red salsa and normally I gravitate towards the green salsa but I really enjoyed the red salsa here! It had a smokiness like chipotle or something that I really liked. Al pastor burrito was also very filling and flavorful! They even had chunks of grilled pineapple in there. I had a few bites of my husband's burrito and gave him one of my fish tacos and I loved them both. Fish tacos felt more light with the veggies while the al pastor burrito was flavorful and hefty! I gauge the cleanliness of a place by how they keep their sauce containers and their sauce containers were nice and pristine! Store and bathroom were clean as well. Would totally recommend and definitely come back!

Located right across the street from Mount San Antonio College, this restaurant was fully enclosed and had a full counter for ordering and pick-up. The decor made the restaurant feel comfortable to eat there and was adorned with nice history of the restaurant, including the competition between other taco restautants. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and Carne Asado tacos, which are my favorite for street tacos. The staff were nice and were fairly quick filling my order. I'm looking forward to go to the Bellflower location next!

Taco Nazo is a staple in my world! Delicious tortas, tacos, burritos. The fish taco is legendary for being very generous huge battered white fish topped with creama, pico de gallo, and cabbage. Cilantro and onion plus lime complete it. Also worth mentioning are the fish burrito, shrimp taco, and my favorite: Potato Tacos! They also do a respectable carne asada - not sure if carnitas are still on the menu. You really can't go wrong here. Chips are the thick freshly fried type. This location is across the street from Mt. SAC. Parking is terrible, so be aware. Luckily, turnover is high - please be patient and careful. Lunch is super busy, so use their online ordering to minimize wait times. I always get my order to go- it is very tight to eat inside and can be super loud. I always check the bags before I leave to ensure I have all the salsa, napkins, lime and peppers I need- they are usually pretty consistent, but like I said, super busy, so save yourself aggravation and do a quick check! Salsa is amazing. They have Horchata and Jamaica! Service is great! I love Taco Nazo!

We've been to this Taco Nazo in Walnut many times, and I was craving their Fish Taco today. I always like their Fish Taco, and they were the pioneers of Fish Taco since 1978. I bought 2 orders of fish tacos, shrimp ceviche, and cheese quesadillas for our late lunch today. Fish Taco ($4.49/order x 2) - The fish tacos were so delicious. They were lightly battered & fried. They are also topped with cabbage, tomato, onion, cilantro, and their signature sauce. Shrimp Ceviche ($9.99) - oh my God! They tasted heavenly. I only ordered a small size, but they gave us a lot of fresh shrimp. The shrimps were marinated in lime juice and spices, tomato, red onion, cilantro, and then topped with avocado. It was also served with tostadas and Tapatio packets. They have small, medium, and large sizes. My daughters and I loved it so much. Quesadillas in the hidden menu ($11.75) - I ordered the Cheese Quesadillas for my younger daughter, and she liked the grilled cheese in a flour tortilla and served with a side of pico de gallo, signature salsa, guacamole, and our signature sauce. We liked the Guacamole and the ranch dressing. It was a very satisfying meal.

Beer batter fish tacos

Ive been on this tacos kick and my daughter and I went to this location where their fish tacos are . She hyped it up to me and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious and tasty. The batter was crispy just enough to give a good crunch while the fish was perfectly cooked to make it tender and flaky. The service was actually very impressive considering it was a Friday night and they were able to take our order and get it to our table quickly. The line was out the door as the dining room is very cozy and limited so if u plan to go, get there early to grab a table. Thx Taco Nazo! We'll be back...

It's not going to be the best tacos you've ever had, but they're more than good enough for the price point. I'm always impressed by how calm and friendly the cashiers are during the dinner rush, since I get stressed just waiting in that crowded line. There wasn't any line for ordering so I got my order in pretty quick for 7 straight tacos and two hard shell. But we did wait well over a half an hour to get our order they filled about 30 orders in the time we were waiting. The phone was going off the hook. So I guess it's a good place if you have a lot of mouths to feed for cheap. The tacos we got, carnitas was nice and a pastor just okay quality but nothing I would go out of my way for. Salsa wasn't flavorful. The hard shell tacos were disappointment at $4 each. That person didn't like the minced chicken either. I may try breakfast. They get an extra star for the hardworking staff and the low TT price. Fancier fillings like shrimp, lengua can be had for 2.49. There is a bare bones eat in area but it's a tad warm. This restaurant is in a strip mall with: DD's, Yoshinoya and Smart and Final on Azusa. We ordered these quesobirria tacos x4 $5 each,1 consome to share $1.50, and their surf & turf burrito $16. Did we expect the tacos to be better than the ones at Disney's DCA at a 10 rating? Especially since these were soft not fried like DCA's. No, but tell you what, these were an 8 since we are comparing. NOW, the next day, I heated up the leftover 2 tacos in my air fryer at 425 for 6 min. Guess what?
