This is hands down the best Mexican Food in town. I truly mean it, it'll remind you of your moms, or grandmothers cooking. Everything I've had here has been good, nothing has disappointed me, my family, or my friends for that matter. Now Its not the biggest location, or the prettiest, or the best parking, but if quality is what your looking for, this is your place. read more

Dropped in today for my first visit due to being in Delano for work and seeing pretty solid reviews. That being said Pros: Very reasonable prices, had a chile verde burrito for $6.75. Decent size portions, I left full but not overstuffed which is nice. Pretty good flavor, could have used some more heat but overall good. Cons: Very slow, took quite some time to get our food out to us. Waitress never checked on us. Took our order, brought our food and never came back. We had to go up to pay and our drinks and stuff were never checked on. I didn't dislike my food by any stretch and I might go back to give it another shot but the service was pretty bad. It was meant to be a quick lunch and with only one other table in use inside we thought it would be but it was far from quick. The waitress seemed oblivious to our existence other than taking our order and dropping the plates off. I do wish the verde was a little hotter, I added some hot sauce to compensate but I won't complain much it was a decent sized burrito and you can't be that price. Far from blown away but not a terrible experience and I'd recommend at least giving it a try, maybe some other items are better? My coworker seemed to really enjoy his chile rellano. read more

We normally order to go. I think the restaurant is too small and crowded. I love their carne asada burrito and my husband likes their lengua burrito- meat is nice and tender. They have different types of drinks and soups. Customer service is good. Nice humble people! read more

I don't come here often, and when I do I remember why I don't eat here. The service is horrible! They are rude and entitled. The food is always cold even after waiting 40 minutes. Over priced food , chilaquiles and a burrito was $30 bucks. The chilaquiles were so soggy and my potatoes were old! Never again. Save your money. read more

Looking for authentic Mexican food like your grandma used to make? I promise you'll find it here. From the decor to the waitresses taking your order you'll feel like you stepped into a cozy, old-school kitchen. The food is amazing. This time I had the chicken soup. The chicken itself was fresh and the veggies were cooked to the perfect consistency. The broth was tasty and the order comes with fresh tortillas. I also recommend their shredded beef tostadas and posole but whatever you decide to eat here, you will not be disappointed. read more

The food there is great. Been eating there for over 10 years. Especially on the weekends because they have more on the menu.

My colleague and I came here and we both ordered an Asada burrito for takeout. First, for the price it's not that huge as claimed by other reviewers: I would say it's just average medium size. Second, we both agreed that this was the saltiest burrito we have ever had in our life. Other than super salty part, it tasted okay. We won't come back here again. read more

This place is pretty hidden. However, it's one of the best authentic Mexican food places. The taste in the food is great. I ordered two asada tacos which had great flavor, also the tortillas are home made. My sister ordered the Camarones Rancheros, includes rice and beans. I picked at her food because it smelled so delicious and believe it or not, it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend this place. Here, you need to request chips and salsa. Prices are reasonable. read more

Food was delicious!! Was driving through and so glad we stopped here. I got the carne asada taco, which was SO FLAVORFUL!! I also got the tostada de ceviche de camarón which was also delicious. My friends both got shrimp burritos and said they were tasty too! 10/10 recommend! read more

Average carne asada tacos, but their fish tacos were great. I wish I got more of their fish tacos. The carne asada was dry and chewy. Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't the cleanest and I likely got sick from eating here. It was my only outside meal in the past 24 hours. read more

I was low on gas and getting hungry on the road from Fresno to San Diego. I thought I would check Yelp for a good Mexican restaurant to keep me going. This was the only place with 4.5 stars and I understand why. Often, Mexican can all taste the same. But this was different- the beans and rice were excellent (my first test) and the flavors deep and spicy. The shredded beef taco was my favorite on the plate. Also had a chicken enchilada. All very good. I only wished they gave me a small bag of chips with my to-go order. I wanted to dip the beans and rice. read more

This review is strictly for their authentic, perfectly made, good quality, well portioned, delicious menudo. It is hard to find good menudo nowadays and that's why I come all the way from Bakersfield just to pick up my order of menudo every Sunday when I get a chance, it's that good. I'm not going to go into details, but just try it for yourself and I promise you won't be dissapointed. For the business itself, it has been there for many years. The people who run it are good, honest people, the prices are great, the resturant is clean and they have a big menu to choose food from. read more

I would give this place 10 stars. If I could love this little gem. Very authentic Mexican food.

Authentic and homemade Mexican food. The aguas frescas are my favorite. Gets really busy so I recommend placing an order ahead of time.

I got 4 al pastor tacos with everything. The food is very delicious. However, the inside of the restaurant needs a ton of work. I now understand why people take their food to go. I also got to taste their carne asada fries and it's pretty good. They do top it off with a lot of cheese. I'm not sure if it's Parmesan or queso fresco. It was pretty interesting. read more

Super delicious tacos! We decided to stop by and check this place out. The tacos dorados with carne desebrada (shredded beef) was one of the best I've ever had, and I've had the good fortune of having plenty of tacos in my lifetime. The meat was sheer perfection, flavored with a blend of tasty spices. They top their crunchy tacos off with lettuce, tomatoes and fresh crumbly cotija cheese. One bite and I knew I had to have another. Husband had the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. They were delicious as well. Now this is what I call authentic Mexican food! The location isn't the greatest and borders on hole in the wallish. Sometimes the best food can be found in off the beaten path locations such as this. No frills here, but the flavor is sure to satisfy. read more

I'm impressed. First time coming to eat here and I was pleasantly surprised... The parking situation was complicated, and very uninviting! But; once inside the service and food spoke for itself. The young lady who helped us was very attentive of all the tables she was serving. We were served home style Chips & Salsa. Not an average "pico de gallo" salsa, but it was perfectly salted and not very spicy. I asked for a small serving of salsa verde and that too was excellent!! Our food came out quickly and everything was very good! The carne asada was seasoned to perfection. Overall I will be back multiple times in the near future! read more
