This fast food setting provides fresh delicious food for reasonable prices I ordered three of their regular carnitas tacos and paid about $12. The meat had a bit of a crunch which I prefer to the non fried carnitas. The tortillas are fresh and soft. The meat is tender and moist with just a bit of the crispy edges. They serve their tacos with red & green sauces and I opted for a third sauce of a citrusy avocado blend. The fillings are generous. They have indoor and patio seating. On chilly days there are heat lamps in the patio area. For a pleasant setting and good food I highly recommend La Imperial.

They were attentive and very nice which I appreciate. The food had good flavor and everyone enjoyed their meal. The chips and salsa were also a plus. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the booths were huge which is a plus for a family of 5 like ourselves. The vibe was quiet no music or anything like that which would have been nice for background noise. I noticed that they keep everyone next to each other in the booths even though there is open booths elsewhere. I would have rather sat in a booth away from others but we didn't say anything. We felt to close together when there was open booths for more privacy if that makes sense. Last the prices seemed a little high in my opinion for the amount of portions you get.

My Huevos Rancheros was delicious. Nice sauce topped eggs with lovely rice and beans. Hubby's Chili Colorado and eggs made him so happy. He said it was the best Chili Colorado that he has had in a long time. It had wonderful texture, cooked with love to develop all that spicy silky goodness like he loves it. Served with fluffy scrambled eggs, rice and beans. Fresh tortillas which I think were house made, and delivered to our table by a sweet lady. She definitely gave off those Tia/Abuelita vibes. We felt like we had been invited into someone's home for a family meal. If you need fancy, this isn't that kind of place. The chile verde here is very tasty and has a good spicy kick to it, I wouldn't call it hot, but it is delicious! They are also a great taqueria for lunch and dinner, they have a great deal on their tacos every Tuesday as well. Their red salsa is my absolute favorite! The staff that works here is always friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is inside of a large gas station that has an epic amount of multicultural snacks from Mexico and Japan that are awesome! The staff always keeps the whole facility super clean. When I pulled up to the spot she was in the parking lot doing some kind of deal with some guy not sure what it was. I ignored it and continued on. When I got to the front of the building there was a line of 3 people in front of me. Because it was already late in the evening i figured I'd stand in line and call it in see which is first. She came back and answered and told me to hold on I watched as she took the orders of 2 people then stopped at the third male in front of me. I placed my order and paid over the phone she said it would be 10-15 minutes. I sat down and she took many peoples orders after my phone order I counted. There was 5 people that she took their orders after me who got their food before me. I got up to ask and she told me they got a lot of pick ups I informed her I was one of them and she told me 10-15 minutes. It's been 40 minutes. I sat down I waited. 1HOUR!!!!! I got up asked again this time she was annoyed and started speaking to me like I was the problem. They HADN'T even started my order yet. When I told her I wanted my money back she acted all annoyed like I was making more work for her. I used to love coming here it was a great spot for late night tacos the owners should know I hold no ill will toward them or their business but until y'all get better employees I won't go back. Maybe make sure you have employees that won't judge someone based on how white they are. I really hope you see this review and make positive changes that will draw in our community again. Thx
