Whenever I'm craving tacos and fries, Taco Factory is my stop. Food preparation has been consistent for many years and since it's locally owned, service is always on point. On this occasion I ordered two Crispy Mixed Tacos (beans, seasoned ground beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes) and small fries. The fries have always been served with no salt (which I prefer) The ambiance is very laid back. Food preparation is quick. Plenty of parking and very clean inside the restaurant. Taco Factory was established in 1985, and they are still going strong. read more

The hard shell taco is good. I got the shredded beef and there was tons of flavor. The cheese. The cheese is everywhere and I love it! I got the chili Verde burrito and was full off that taco. So I had it the next day. Half for breakfast. Half for lunch. Yes, the chile Verde is good. Tons of flavor and a kick of spicy. Not too spicy. The burrito is a good size not overly huge. read more

Honestly, this is my second time here I hadn't been here in years, but now I know why I walked in today and I thought they had more options than they offer but they didn't they offer tacos, but the taco was not even fried. It was just a soft taco a tortilla. It wasn't even mentioned on the menu, I don't know what type of food is. It doesn't seem Mexican. The owner which I believe was sitting there talking about sports or something instead of greeting his customers the food was bland. The salsa had no flavor. I don't even know how this place stays open anyways I will never be back now. I know I haven't been there in so long, and customer service is poor read more

The place feels like home. Been coming here since I was a kid, and will continue to come. They have yummy ground beef tacos stuffed with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Their homemade salsa is also delicious! A must for sure! I always order their fries, they are always perfectly crisp. Services is alway fast, inside has a good amount of tables to sit at if you're in for lunch or dinner. I always leave this place feeling full and content. read more

After a 10 year absence from my hometown, I could not wait to get to Taco Factory. I ordered a chili verde Fiesta Salad to go and was pretty shocked when I picked it up to be told it was $25 for the one item. I was disappointed that there was so little chile verde in the salad. The meat element was hardly discernible. It was large enough to share, but sadly disappointing. read more

Great food. Great service. The owner is very nice and down to earth. The chile verde burritos are the best I ever had. I drive from Bakersfield often just to eat there. read more

Love the Chile Relleno with lemon and 1/2 pint of rice. Never disappoints. Also, great customer service.

A quick and hearty meal on the road doesn't have to be greasy or hard to digest. It can be a very well made simple burrito with plenty of meaty chunks! This was a pleasant discovery. A nice place to grab a simple and satisfying meal when traveling in the area. read more

Taco Factory - A regular burrito opened so I could add picante sauce. Very good. Filling. Would get this again. - Mexican Near Me - Delano, California

Quiet ,peaceful place to eat. Have been eating here since it opened. Never had a problem with the food. If it is not to my liking, I would ask them for another order just like anywhere else. Friendly staff, and always clean. Great mexican food. Food is ready at a reasonable time. read more

The burrito was bad the meat taste old after eating 4 bite already had to run to the restroom couldn't even finish the whole burrito paid $8.44 for a burrito and soda the soda was flat I first ask for tea the tea was water down then got a soda soda was flat and water down the service was good nice lady but the food was awful giving a one 2 star only for the nice lady read more

One our favorite eatery when we visit Delano...but this day...was disappointed food was cold and taco dinner was not so good beans were terrible and cold only the regular fries were hot. DISAPPOINTED. read more

Nice gem in the rough. Not a traditional mexican restaurant but something unique. I spent a couple minutes thinking about what I would order and was really happy with the steak burrito and chile relleno. Both were super tasty. The burrito was a little sparse but the meat and tortilla were just right. The relleno was above average and I'd love to have that again. read more

Always a treat when I get to stop by this place. If you like your chile verde super spicey and super tasty get it here. The chile relleno is the second best thing on their menu so make sure you try that as well. I grew up eating at this place. It's a family run place and the service is fast and friendly. They accommodate you as much as they can. If you live in Bakersfield and travel just to eat here bring your own tupperware... why? Because the chile rellenos are served in paper bowls and unless you eat them there it's going to be a soggy mess by the time you get home. Bring your Tupperware and they will put your chile rellenos in that so theres no mess and you can either eat, refrigerate or freeze when you get home. It's a win win. Cheese enchiladas are also a classic must have when trying this place. read more

Wonderful service and wonderful burritos! It's my go-to on a Friday afternoon. I pick up and share with my friends in Bakersfield.

Over priced just ate there, tried the asada fries and I was honestly let down. How do you mess up asada fries?? And for $19?!?!? Don't think I'll eat there ever again. ‍ read more

Love this spot! This family owned business has been up and running for quite some time now and every time we come out to Delano we are always back to this place. It's either the cheesy goodness or the addicting chili verde that has me and my family coming back. If you have a huge appetite then I recommend that you get the chili verde super nachos. I honestly wish they served that in smaller portions, but it definitely takes more than one person to finish it and if you love the heat then definitely check out their famous chili verde. Arguably one of the best chili verde around! read more

Love this place! It's an old staple in our town. It's not authentic Mexican food, so don't plan on eating here if that's what you are looking for. What you will find here is amazing, tasty, fast-food style Mexican grub! My go to dish is the mixed enchilada dinner that includes rice and beans. Everything about that meal is tasty. I know many past residents who come to Delano just to eat here and others who visit family who wouldn't dare come here without stopping in for their delicious eats. Inexpensive, fast and tasty. Why go anywhere else? read more

Taco Factory is the best place for tacos and nachos cheese in the whole wide world. I drive from Bakersfield to Delano which is a 30 mile drive just to eat their awesome food, they have secret spices in the food for taste which they don't give the formula away, especially in their nacho cheese. I think I will go right now just thinking of that wonderful place to eat. read more

So I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much. To me it looked like a Mexican place with a American twist on several dishes. I in fact was pleasantly surprised with the flavor a few of the dishes we had packed. Everything from the chili relleno to the nachos that were too big to devour. The chili verde sauce used on the chili relleno was so good I had to drizzle some on my nachos to take them to a whole other level and I was glad I did. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying lore items on their menu. read more

I love this place. They were closed for awhile due to a fire, but now they are back. I was in town for the CCHS Homecoming game and I knew there was only one choice for dinner for me, Taco Factory! Had my usual taco dinner with an extra taco. Same recipe, same great food! Welcome back! read more

Only getting two because of the good service. Food deserved a zero. Steak taco had no seasoning and the meat was too dry to eat. Had the texture of being over boiled. Recommended by the server, got the ground beef and bean taco. Managed to eat half. Again, nothing was seasoned. Maybe a hint of cumin? Nothing else. Served with a red sauce on the side. more like watered down tomato sauce. Not sure how to have cheddar cheese taste bland or pico de gallo taste bland but they accomplished it. Sign says Mexican food. They should be embarrassed to call it that. read more

Stoped to eat with my family about half hour before closing, I asked if they are closed and the cashier said that they will in 15 min , so if we are thinking to dine in to do it now! She was staring at us as we were trying to make a decision so I just got the asada tacos that were disgusting, overly salted, and very tough and dry, my niece got the asada, rice and beans burrito that was nasty as well, the rice was dry looked like it was about a week or more old as well as the beans, and again the asada overly salty and tough! My husband had the chile relleno with some kind of salsa! Overall nasty so called "Mexican food" !!!!! I'm not a Mexican and I know more about making tacos or pico de gallo! By the way the pico de gallo looks like it was chopped with an ax!!! read more

(She fucking did) savage 2nd they were real nice to us they must have knows we were blown lol but they were so nice and very attentive We really can't wait to go back if you have not had the chance to eat there we highly recommend that you do. read more

Their enchiladas and super nachos are the best! My family goes there's at least three times a month.

The first clue that this was going to be the worst Mexican food in existence should have been the name. The next clue: it was 100 % gringos, including behind the counter. But Mexicans were in the kitchen so we ordered some tacos and a burrito. This was the whitest so called Mexican food I have ever eaten. The small tortilla around the burrito fixings didn't come close to covering the filling. The salsa was was seasoned with way too much black pepper. The carne aside taco was disgusting. And they don't have any real lemons in the kitchen. They only have lemon packets! The one star is for the pepsi. At least the soda machine was working. Also the man at the counter was nice enough as he explained why they didn't have a restroom. He said KFC next door doesn't mind sharing. And yes, the nails are hideous. Especially when she scrapes her bare arm before serving your food. read more
