They cared to get us seated quickly and also in a location that was a good fit for our large family. Decor is very nice. The traditional hispanic clay art, artesanía, is displayed well here with a central "cabana" that has colorful clay birds nesting underneath. The cathedral sized walls are covered with paintings that are really nice (some should be touched up to keep it fresh) Some tables also are hand painted and that really adds authenticity! My husband got steak, I ordered combo B - taco, enchilada and pepper, taco salad for 2 children and fajitas for others. I will be honest. I was stuffed after the generous portion of table chips, cheese and salsa so I could only manage to eat the taco and next time that's what I want - 2 of them to be exact. It was really GOOD! My husband really loved the steak. My kids ate everything and wanted leftovers to come home with them. we were too stuffed to have sopapillas. When I contacted DoorDash, they declined to issue a refund or credit, which has left me paying for items I did not receive. I have enjoyed Tu Familia's food in the past and truly want to continue supporting this business. However, customer service is just as important as the food itself. After briefly chatting again with the owner I let him know that I we were regulars at the Wichita Falls location near shepherds Air Force Base, which happened to be where his brother was working. This would be a place to go. Personally, I like it, me and my husband and our grandchild one of our grandchildren at a time because we can sit there and talk to him as it's dark enough that it doesn't overstimulate them. We have two special needs of our our children. Grandchildren are special needs so the other two get overstimulated real bright and loud so this is a really nice place to go with them we're taking them out for something special.
