I've been in the Lawton area for a few years, and this place is easily in my top two choices for Mexican food. The service was top-notch! Our server, Jose, was awesome and took great care of us. He made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is also really nice. The place is colorful and beautifully decorated, with a style that reminded me of an old-fashioned Mexican rancho. It gives the restaurant a really warm and authentic feel. If you're in Lawton, OK, you should definitely stop by here!

I ended up getting a bowl of black beans and cilantro lime rice topped with cilantro, pico de gallo, and corn. I also had a side of chips with mild salsa. Everything was seasoned really well, and I could tell that the rice had been made recently (it wasn't dried out or anything). The salsa tasted great, although I might try a medium salsa next time just to see how it is. The chips were nice and warm. All in all, I enjoyed my dining experience.

My favorite thing to order is the quesabirria tacos. The consumé is almost always perfectly made and flavorful though there have been a couple times I've noticed it's been watered down. The esquites tasted a bit different than the elote my husband is used to, so we only ordered it once, but their tortilla chips are made fresh and are so delicious. I always ask for extra limes when ordering Mexican food (IYKYK), but the ones here are always so hard and not juicy at all. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Make sure you have limes at home lol

My husband went in and ordered it until to make sure to put extra lettuce in it because most places when you order a taco salad it's all toppings and no lettuce. This was one of the best taco salads I've had he got chicken on top. The chicken was very tasty. The lettuce was good and all of the toppings were really tasty as well and I forgot how good their salsa and cheese dips are. But my main complaint before was simply that they did not do Carrie out very well at all, but evidently that's changed which I was very pleased with. Of course this is totally different from what I've ordered in the past still though the service was great. Steve had no problems with it and if you've never been there, it's got a really nice ambience. It's a nice place to go and sit down. Frankly, I'm disabled with multiple sclerosis and the heat kills me. It's nice in there but right now our cars air-conditioning is broken so we're doing bring home and I'm not leaving the house! I ordered the Bistek a la Mexicana, which is cubed beef topped with tomato sauce, onions, and jalapeños, served with rice, beans, and tortillas. This was delicious! The steak was very tender, well-flavored, and seasoned perfectly. The sauce made it even more juicy and flavorful. I chose flour tortillas, which were perfect for this dish. The rice and beans were good as well. My only complaint is that I wish they served a little more rice. The restaurant was clean, and the service was great. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the tres leches. In my experience, tres leches is supposed to be very moist considering it's made with three types of milk lol.
