I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and when we finally got around to it, they had moved to their new spot we went over and they were closed so it seems like it took a year at least for us to get over here and I'm sad it took that long because they have really good food here. I was surprised that they were not very busy. We ordered and the food is not an inexpensive place, but not expensive either. We went and lived it. A week later we took our grandson there and this time, it was nearly full! The waitresses are nice. They're polite and they're helpful if you ask them for something. They kept our glasses filled and brought doggy bags when we needed them (because I could not finish a meal in this place). The portions are pretty big at least for me. I told my grandson that next time we go we will split a meal. He's 10 and told me no way He finished his whole meal. Yeah. Probably won't be splitting a meal with him after all. I'll just bring home a lot of leftovers. They had the quesadilla which they both enjoyed. My husband, my grandson, Muletti I think was the name of it. It's a round tortilla filled with the meat of your choice and then it has, cilantro, spices cheese It comes spicy or mild. The ambiance is nice. It's a quiet restaurant. The kids were more than welcome and they were very patient with the kids. I like darker restaurants because of my eyes. The really bright light also triggers migraines. Good news. It's a darker restaurant and it's a quieter restaurant the sound doesn't travel. I do know, in my wheelchair, we had no problem getting in and finding a place to sit. There was enough room to maneuver in there, which is always nice to know because not all restaurants are that easy. I would put this on my to-do list if you're looking for a new place to try that's Mexican. T's a good place to try. I think it is a family-owned restaurant Okay adding to this. We are fans of nacho mama's in this family. Is it the absolute best Mexican food we've ever had? No. But is it worth multiple return trips? Yes. Especially since the menu is big enough that we've been able to try something new every time. So far, the Street Corn has been my fave, but if you get it with the flaming hot Cheetos on top, just be prepared for what I'm pretty sure is an entire bag of it. A little too much for me, so I had to take a little off the top first, but if that's your jam definitely give it a try. The mama's taco was also really good. I'm personally not a fan of the salsa because it's too much cilantro for my liking. The Strawberry Banana aguas frescas that I got for the girls on our last trip tasted really fresh, and not overly sweet. The girls usually prefer just a basic taco with rice and beans, but Suri got adventurous and tried the bean and cheese nachos last time. She couldn't eat it because she said the cheese was too spicy. So if you've got spice averse kiddos, maybe avoid the queso. Before Nacho Mamas were brick and mortar, Lorenzo loved the birria. He says that it's still pretty good, but he remembers them being better when they were still a good truck. He really likes the enchiladas though. We've never tried their desserts, but I peeped the case last time and everything looked really good. I might be snagging a churro cheesecake to go next time we visit. read more

Best Mexican food in Lawton hands down and there are many choices. Their food is authentic and have some special dishes that I had never tried before! My favorite was Birria Ramen Also, they have the BEST White cheese queso I have ever had! Their new location is clean, spacious and so cute! Staff is friendly, and attentive. We drive up for appointments at Ft Sill from Wichita Falls and love their new location, The food is fresh and definitely tasty or yummo whichever you prefer. We hadn't been up to the new location until this month. We have gone there three times already and are now willing to make a special trip just for the food. We love the crunchy taco plate, enchilada plate and pork green chili plate. The staff and cooks are more than willing to try and accommodate your taste buds. First time door dashing a order since I didn't have a car. Normally I'm a in person customer since they started there business via a taco truck. They always have good service. Today was totally different. My order was wrong, I ordered 3 spicy Barbacoa dipping tacos Hot Cheetos elote Carne Asada Burrito with extra meat and add guac with no CHEESE and no sour cream. Total came out to +$30 something plus a $5 tip Requested 3 salsa for the dipping tacos and 5 red salsa for my burrito because I love the heat. When I got the order checked the bag there was no salsa AT ALL!!! There was not even a single napkin smh. So I cut the burrito in half and I don't see the salsa in the burrito I don't see the extra meat I paid for and I don't see the guacamole I paid for also. I SAW CHEESE THAT I CLEARLY SAID NOT TO HAVE IN THE BURRITO (lactose) That's extra $2 something we'll it wasn't there. I called and they rudely said it's all in the burrito. The meat was horrible dry and tasted old. I remember how it tasted the other times I ordered this. I got a ride to bring this back to the store with my receipt and they denied it! They didn't bother to apologize or even bother to try and re make it. Instead I was rudely told the salsa is in the burrito but what about everything else!?! It WAS NOT IN THERE THEY SEEN IT WITH THERE OWN EYES. I won't be coming back. If your craving Mexican food my best bet is to go to el toro or even teds at least there they will treat you well and provide good customer service. I was in major disbelief having hear this from the women owner and her employee at the cashier. I will not return. Horrible service. Let's just say to make a long story short, the food is good but the customer service for take out, was not. I have never been here before but I heard good things so I decided to try. The vibe of the staff was not friendly at all. They didn't acknowledge me as I stood awkwardly in the doorway trying to figure out how to order to go. The girl at the front wasn't completely rude but she wasn't friendly either. She looked at me as if I wasn't supposed to be standing in the doorway and so I said I wanted to make a Togo order. She said someone would be with me. I stood and waited several minutes before someone came to take my order. I explained that I have never been here before and I needed a menu. She handed me a menu and said, "can you sit over there", as she pointed to a bench and walked off. None of these girls smiled or had a friendly tone. I didn't feel welcome or like I should even be there and I kind of just wanted to leave. I didn't leave but waited so that I could try the food that I've heard such great things about. I received my food and took it home, 5 minutes away, to try. The beans were cold and the rice was sticking together and was a little salty. The birria tacos and quesabirrias were perfect. They were flavored, cooked perfectly, and were made hot to go. They were very good. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were great and made fresh. The kids taco was mediocre at best. So I give it 3 stars. I will go back and try dining in. I would like to try to the rice again on a good day. Sometimes I put a little too much caldo de pollo bouillon seasoning when I cook my rice and it turns out that way. It happens. The birria is the biggest reason to go back though. Hopefully in the future the service is better. We shall see! read more

Have tried this place twice and neither myself nor my husband are a fan. Could not finish any of the meals we tried and we tried because we do not like wasting money. I wish them much success but recommend trying other Mexican restaurants in town. Will say for any restaurant - if you state something is homemade then either make it homemade or clarify with the customer that things have changed and using storebought. I happened be driving by so decided to stop in. Ordered the mulita supposedly with birria. Also a burrito with the same meat. Maybe birria is different here but it was lacking flavor and looked like boiled meat. When I asked for consumee the waitress said she'd get it. Never did so I asked another. She pointed at the salsa bottles and said it was one of those. Previous waitress said they were all salsa. She was new so maybe it was. I took most of my order to go. When I got I couldn't believe it was as much as it was. Charging for sauce that should've been on the meat is crazy. Overall it wasn't horrible. Just don't think it's worth what I paid. It's not even 9:00 am and woke up with horrible gas. Used the bathroom five times already. I know it's from old/badmeat. Ordered on doordash but i am allergic to onions and there's no option on the app at the moment to remove the onions or leave requests so i called the store 11 times and got no answer each time so i contacted the dasher to ask about the onions and the store REFUSED to remake my order unless i paid for a whole new one, so i had to buy 2 burritos just because they refuse to accommodate to allergies. food is delicious though staff just kinda sucks read more

Ordered our food at 625 from door dash I ordered the torta plate that includes fries the wife ordered Birria taco plate with no cheese on the beans well took 110 min to make was tracking our door dash driver they dropped off food at 750 and well my torta plate was missing fries no biggie but my wife plate was missing a taco and also had cheese on the beans we called two times before they closed and the didn't pick up and just let it ring until there closing time. Love the main dishes, the rice and beans are always dry. We go for the main dishes because they are so great, but the staff is not the best. All the tables were dirty. The phones were ringing and customers were either placed on hold or not answered at all. The line was long and only one woman working the front and she seemed new and not the fastest. There was another woman walking back and forth from the kitchen, but not really helping out in any way that I could see. It looks like they only had one register to take orders. The cook that brought out the food was nice, but he was unprofessional in appearance and the way he spoke to customers.
