Last minute decision as we were in between places and wanted to eat on Fathers Day. Service was excellent! They cared to get us seated quickly and also in a location that was a good fit for our large family. Decor is very nice. The traditional hispanic clay art, artesanía, is displayed well here with a central "cabana" that has colorful clay birds nesting underneath. The cathedral sized walls are covered with paintings that are really nice (some should be touched up to keep it fresh) Some tables also are hand painted and that really adds authenticity! My husband got steak, I ordered combo B - taco, enchilada and pepper, taco salad for 2 children and fajitas for others. I will be honest. I was stuffed after the generous portion of table chips, cheese and salsa so I could only manage to eat the taco and next time that's what I want - 2 of them to be exact. It was really GOOD! My husband really loved the steak. My kids ate everything and wanted leftovers to come home with them. we were too stuffed to have sopapillas. (One even wrote on the lid - DO NOT TOUCH OR ELSE - hahaha) And our server was beyond excellent! Will go back again soon!! read more

Our party of 4 arrived before the dinner crowd so up until the dinner crowd arrived service was good. Our meals were quick to the table and nice and hot. I failed and ordered a dish I'd never had and was greatly disappointed (Tres Tacos Mexicana) beef and green sauce tacos. It was watered down shredded beef that looked like cat vom** on a taco shell. It had no flavor was very salty and just unappealing. Everyone else at the table said their meals were good. And they looked appetizing. Best part of my meal was my beer; even the salsa and cheese dip was not something I enjoyed . Price was standard for restaurant meal prices these days. Overall, I don't believe I'd ever order that dish again or go out of my way to eat there again. I've had much better Mexican food at other places. read more

We have been coming to the West Side location for several years. It is hard to beat the Monday through Saturday lunch menu for value. Decent tex-mex, service at the table is usually quite good. Chimichangas are Tucson-quality, tamales are very authentic. Only reason this did not get five stars, is a very consistent lack of interest by the hostesses. It's a 12 or 14 inch tortilla flour tortilla and it's filled with beans a little bit of cheese. I think on the inside and it's folded over let us tomato on the outside. I think it's just under seven dollars but I don't get it for the price. My daughter is eating it and I think I was eating the letter be at the time and she gave me a small taste of it and I thought oh my gosh this is so good. Very simple, very simple, but one of their best in my opinion that's all it is. It doesn't come with rice or beans, but you can order them if you'd like us as The guacamole is interesting, diced avocado with various things in it, and I like that too another is the shrimp cocktail. Some stuff stuff taste a little greasy according to what meat you get, etc. but that's to be expected with Mexican food to an extent It is a nice place if you want to go somewhere if you're here for like an army graduation or you're in town from somewhere just expected it's going to be crowded and if you just ask what price the lowest meal is the highest meal and that will give you an idea of how much they run But it's trusted it's been there for a long time so obviously they're doing something right And this is what I can definitely as a matter of fact we're going back there tonight. So as we finish our dinner and we're waiting for the check, there's a roach crawling on the seat of our booth we're sitting in. Pretty good experience. Wait staff checked on my party a few times. Not over bearing with the service, it was enough. Server was also swift with bringing our drinks, chips, and order out. We went when it an hour after opening so a small crowd was there. But even with the small crowd, they made the food quicker than expected (while, yes! cooked to perfection). There are a few $7-9 things to eat, most things are $10-15 in price. One neat aspect of this place is the tortilla makers window. After two hosts didn't know what I was talking about and I almost left, I found my michelada. Honestly 4/10. Made with the Clamato base and I asked for negra modelo and got regular. The rim was covered in lime ( not lime juice + salt, or chamoy + tajin , LIME ). The lime was in the drink too giving it a nasty texture every now and then. But the drink was basic. The chips were okay and the cheeses and salsas were below average. Not sure what I expected but this wasn't it. Forced myself through it. Next time I'll give the food a try. read more

Worst MexIcan food in SW OK. Tasteless queso, salsa from a jar. A fried egg with house salsa is their idea of huevos rancheros. Taco al pastor served with carne asada, I know the difference. Can I give a negative star? The waiter was trying but he was working on a different time zone from us. Ok the food, I grew up here I remember decent TexMex food and this is not it. I think everything was out of a box or can. The guacamole tasted like the cream stuff you get at Walmart. The chili on top of the tamale and enchilada tasted and looked like the hot dog chili you get in a can. The rice and beans taste like the frozen food meal rice and beans. Even the chips had that stale bag but opened too long flavor. The cheese sauce was from a can. An the sopapillas -ok if I had never had one I would have liked them but since I have I was very disappointed but I guess 1 is free at the end of the meal. Great staff and they're always busy but they do attend to their tables promptly. Food is great especially their tortillas. There are times when I just order a dozen or more tortillas and a side of beans to-go and I'm a happy camper. Lots of seating and the drinks here are wonderful. I really loved this place. I expected less from what I heard by word of mouth. I reserved a party of 9 table for my co-workers and I. It was a going away party. A lot of my party arrived at different times but this restaurant was accommodating. On top of that, It was homecoming night and the parking lot was completely full. - The Perfect margaritas are wonderful. I had two, but with more water I could have gone for three. - I ordered the Beef Flautas, delicious The service was great. Our food came out at a good time. Coming from Texas, we have Rosa's, and in asking the waitress, this used to be Rosa's. For the most, it's the basic Mexican food as expected. At first, the waitress was really slow, but she made up for it with her friendly service. Love the chip and cheese dip. Ehhhh... Really on the fence with this visit- definitely not what it used to be. Good food though! Arrived at 1827, my friend had already got a table, but it was busy... good sign.. we sat down and promptly received chips, queso and red sauce. We thought a nice breeze might be in the cards so we asked to move to their outdoor patio. Not sure if this was the right move - but it felt nice outside. The music outside was SO loud we could barely hear each other talk. Our waiter/waitress weren't sure what was going on and it was very apparent. There were birds literally flying everywhere. We did ask our waiter to turn down the music outside and that was quickly done. Also- be prepared - everytime someone goes out of the gate.. it will slam very loud. I ordered the mini flautas- very good! Super flavorful! Comes with lettuce, tomato and guacamole on the side - you have to ask for aour cream. My wife got the chicken fajitas and really liked them although she said they were pretty stingy with the tortillas, so you may ask for extra- esp if you're sharing. The service was ok after the beginning, the guy was very polite - although kept calling my friend babe. Checkout is at the front once you get your ticket. Will probably dine again, but maybe avoid the outside. read more

This might not be the worst place to eat, but it is pretty darn bad for Mexican food. The food is lifeless and bland (I think I'm being redundant) absolutely mediocre. Rather than eat here go get a bag of Frito's and canned bean dip and save yourself the trip here. read more
