I love the ambience of chilies. It's a dark restaurant right and quieter. It's got both tables and booths and it's got good food on the average. There's some things that I think they could do better. It's been there a long time and I think some of their recipes are not as good as they once were. Whether that's cost cutting or what I'm not sure but they do have good food. I do like their guacamole. I love their soups, although they got rid of my favorite soup there but their potato soup is delicious and I do like their salads. I love to go for their salad soup lunch to be. That's the best thing they have and I do love their chicken crispers, though I will confess that I don't eat the newer ones because I was just so hooked on the old ones. They have good desserts. They have a good kids menu. It's a little more expensive than what I like to pay unless I'm just looking for a nice ambient atmosphere then you know I don't mind paying a little extra otherwise if you have a complete family and you don't have a really good job. You're gonna struggle a little cause you're paying over $30 for two people usually so for a family of four or even 6 it gets way up there and when you're choosing somewhere to take the family if what you're gonna use that money on there's other places that are more inexpensive that are just So I think I'd say this is probably great for two or three people together that they wanna sit and talk and enjoy their meal. It's not near as loud as somewhere like Texas roadhouse you won't have any problem hearing people and like I said the atmosphere is nice. The furniture is a little crowded so you might have a little trouble getting around if you're in a motorized chair, however they go out of their way to help someone like that so it wouldn't be a problem and all the people who work there that I've met have been wonderful and very attentive and the food is always cooked well So this is definitely one that if you want somewhere to go to sit and talk or maybe go on a date a casual date with someone a nice place to meet and have a dinner and then a little dessert to share. This would be a place to go. Personally, I like it, me and my husband and our grandchild one of our grandchildren at a time because we can sit there and talk to him as it's dark enough that it doesn't overstimulate them. We have two special needs of our our children. Grandchildren are special needs so the other two get overstimulated real bright and loud so this is a really nice place to go with them we're taking them out for something special. I will give great reviews when deserved and also the horrifying experience when warranted. First time at Chili's was at this location. It was wasn't very busy when we went and was sat right away. Lisa was our server and was attentive. She never let my drink sit empty. We got the chips and salsa to begin with and I was very impressed at the salsa. It was spicy and not chunky (how I like it). The chips were thinner and crispier. Also got the boneless buffalo wings they were huge compared to other restaurants and the fries have a unique flavor that I've never had before. We've eaten here for the past two days for lunch. Yesterday, we stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes before someone came to acknowledge us. They were at the bar chit chatting. I didn't mind so much though. I wondered how the visit would go when an older couple walked out and said "good luck getting service". Apparently no one ever came to their table after they were seated. We were waited on immediately. Our food came out really fast and the server was super friendly, helpful and just a delight. The food and service was so good! Today, we were seated fast, served fast and the server was also just as great as yesterday! The only thing today is that it was loud. The music was overly loud and the employees were like screaming in the back. I don't think it would normally have been a bother, but we were seated close to the kitchen so we couldn't hear each other talk for the first 15 minutes or so. Usually really vibe at the chilis, but this location wasn't great. The staff seems under trained. Was underserved on a side dish, asked for a full portion and was sassed + told I needed to purchase a whole other side dish by my waitress. I had a manager make my day awesome and a waitress make it special. I am allergic to tomatoes so instead of salsa was allowed queso. Then when my shrimp were too spicy the manager made me a whole new meal with unspicy shrimp. The waitress was a a sweetheart Andrea and the manager was so kind and very helpful his name is Esteban Canales. They both made me feel good and the food was delicious. There wasn't a single thing on the menu under $10 except chips/salsa, soup, & sides. The molten lava cake was $10. For 2 people be prepared to spend. I only got a bowl of soup & a beer. Our bill for 2 was $55 w/o tax & tip. Food: Items were average. Chips & salsa were good. Soup was luke warm. They were out of guacamole. Was going to order bowl of chili and server recommended not getting it, that it was like hotdog chili topping, so I got soup instead. Daughter got chicken fajitas which were good, but rice was undercooked and firm. Beans didn't come and server said they were heating it up. She brought soon after & they were cold. Only good item we both liked were the mini molten lava cake for one which we shared. Overall, food was "okay" and definitely not worth what they are charging. Because of the prices for mediocre food I won't be going back. If it was cheaper I would. Now I know why Chilis has closed so many restaurants. Too bad. The director of operations seated us on his way out after we waited over 5 minutes without a greeting. He was friendly and seemed to enjoy his position. We opted for the bar. The bartender was serving the tables in the bar and he was not pleasant. Every question I asked, he was irritated with, including what the margarita of the month was. The food was warm but not hot. The service was slow and he was just unhappy the whole time. He rifled through his purse behind the bar in the midst of serving others and didn't wash his hands after. The locals/regulars joked with him, but the out-of-towners (in on military business) like us did not feel welcome. We planned on having dessert because we love chili's and don't have one in our state but we decided at that point with poor service, lukewarm food and having already spent quite a bit of time wandering, we didn't want to continue waiting and spending money somewhere we weren't welcome, so we opted to leave. I'm sure the military base bringing visitors brings business to a chain like this, but don't expect the friendly service you'd get from your hometown chili's. Came in, waited ten minutes, no one even came to get our drink order. A bigger family comes in behind us and here comes a waiter to take drink orders. Even after this we still gave you all a chance because we had gone to another restaurant in the area and were let down and had to leave and we were hungry. I will preface this review w/ the fact I worked as a waitress, cook, and eventually a restaurant manager for a little over six years. It takes quite a bit for me to not tip generously or complain. The restaurant did not appear busy. We were immediately seated by the hostess. It took about 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order. Around 15 minutes passed and then I saw our waitress bussing tables. She never returned from the back of the restaurant. I got up and told the hostess I thought our waitress had possibly forgotten about us. Seconds later, the waitress reappears with dagger eyes, thankfully carrying a diet coke and water. In that situation, a server might say, "I apologize for the wait." Clearly our waitress took a different approach. We ordered our food and it was delivered by another waiter. The waitress came by our table once after taking the order. I had to get up again to ask the hostess for our check. On the way out, the HOSTESS apologized for the poor service. I have eaten at Chili's before and understand this particular situation was based on this server's poor attitude and general apathy. Just moved here from California. I decided to come here early in the day to avoid the rush on a weekend before going to see a movie. Server was nice and polite. I started with the chips and salsa. Salsa was ice cold and chips were also cold like they came out of a fridge type cold. Normally they are warmed up or maybe that's just a California thing but they definitely weren't as good as I was hoping for. The table I sat at had the smell of used baby diapers the entire time which was unappealing to me. I'm glad I came by myself this time so it would only be me that was disappointed in this experience. The chips had zero salt on them which is when I discovered my salt shaker lid was covered in rust. Not very sanitary. The table wasn't even cleaned and I can say I was one of the third tables to be occupied since the opened this morning which tells me that they didn't take closing clean up very seriously. There was still food and some kind of syrup or sticky substance on the table still. Once the food came out there was some weird colored stuff on my cheese that look like mold. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of that to include in this review. The guacamole was brown, so it definitely wasn't fresh and also appeared to be watered down so I'm assuming they had it for a day or two in the refrigerator for condensation builds up once they removed it. I was given4 flour tortillas which were nice and warm so that was a plus side until I started to eat. Once I started eating I realized how hard they were or you could say Stiff actually. My jaw began to hurt from having to chew so much because the tortillas were so stiff and tough. I thought about asking for another sitter tortillas once I ran out because I still had half my meat left and other additions of the fajita but after experiencing that with the first four tortillas I decided to just eat the rest of it with a fork. this is probably the worst experience I've ever had at Chili's and if you do you go to Chili's I recommend not going to the one in Lawton Oklahoma on cache rd. You should go somewhere else... yeah it might be a bit more of a drive, but I'm sure the food quality would be much higher. One downside to the server or waitress was that she never once asked me how the food was or I would've mentioned issues to her, besides that she was nice and kind. read more

The tea was watered down due to sitting too long, the beer was flat and the bartender brought it to our table since the waitress apparently forgot about it. The appetizer came out with the entrees and took forever, fries were also missing from one entree. I mean, how can a kitchen be backed up on a Wednesday night right before payday? Food was good though after we finally got it. The waitress - Marissa or Larissa - was unorganized and sat uninvited down next to me on the bench, to write down the order, which made me feel like my personal space was invaded. You just don't do things like that to strangers. When she came again to tell us it would take longer she left some shredded cheese on our table which fell out of her notebook. Like really?! Disappointed, I haven't been eating out much since the covid -19 outbreak but decided to treat the kids and I last night. I called in my order at 6:15 and they told me it would be ready in 25 min. I showed up at 6:40 they took my payment and I continued to wait in my car as directed. At 7 o'clock I asked them how much longer they thought my food would be an all they told me was we have a lot of orders it's just not ready yet. OK I understand everybody is adjusting to this take out thing so I didn't get upset I just said OK, my food finally came out at 7:20 over an hour after I place my order I drove home ( which is only about four blocks away) and my sons food was completely cold and my daughter and my food was lukewarm I wouldn't have really been as upset about the long wait except that our food was cold so clearly have been sitting there while I waited 40 minutes past the projected wait time for my food to be brought to my car. I don't think I will be eating out again....... Update: well I gave Chili's another try that was a bad idea ordered to go again we ordered my son the chicken Alfredo pasta that is what he orders every single time we go to Chili's and it wasn't even half the size it is in the restaurant literally maybe a quarter cup when he bit into the pasta it wasn't even done it was hard. I called the restaurant to ask them if their portion sizes are different when you order takeout because the price is the same they put me on hold to get the manager and never came back I sat there for 20 minutes on hold waiting for them to come back to the phone and gave up ‍ never again Chili's read more
