if you think ab lawton is bad, do not eat at the duncan ab thinking duncan will be better. apparently duncan ab service is a bit better but the duncan food is as undeniably bad, mainly the duncan ab kitchen get no training other than triple cook and ruin everything they serve. as in really overcook it. if in duncan instead try chicken express or taco casa. mazios better than ab but that isnt saying much. johnnies at oak tree a much better duncan eatery for fast, casual, affordable. . read more

I have got in this restaurant four times in the last couple months. Every time I go in, there's nobody there.. I stood at the door 3 to 5 minutes each time and each time no one has come to get me. So after standing there and no one get to get me each time I left and went to Olive Garden. I don't know if this location is gonna make it. I hope they can turn it around. read more

Upon entering, the smell of the carpet was horrible. You can smell everything that was spilled on it and more making it distracting. We started with drinks but the sweet tea tasted funny in a bad way. We order 2 all you can eat and A lotta bacon burger. It took awhile for the food to come out considering there was only 5 tables of costumers. Our fries were cold but the fried shrimp was hot and the riblet was smothered with bbq sauce which was ok. Other than cold fries, the burger was fine. Second order of shrimps took about 15 min. It was half order and hot. Next plate of riblets was cold so i ordered last plate of shrimps. Overall, if you have the time and like to eat several plates, then the AYCE is ok. However, to receive cold food items when they should be warm to hot makes me not want to return here. Of I could give no stars I surely would after this visit. 4-14-24 1300. Walked in and was told that we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes because their cooks are behind. We had a table of 6. So we were ok with that and had a seat. 5 people came in then 2 people came in and they seat them then came to us and stated it would be 20 minutes. I asked how the people before us was seated she stated there smaller tables. 5 + 2 equals 7 everywhere but Oklahoma I guess. We use to frequent this establishment often but we will not be back. One of our party got there first and was served drinks. I asked for an alcoholic mixed drink ( mixed with soda) and a water. I was brought a soda only. After the server's mistake they corrected it, but never brought my water. We were all there by 5:00, a party of 3. However, all the people around us who arrived after us were served their food first. We ordered way before them. It took forever for our food to come out. One of our party's food had a black hair in it. One of the young staff who walked by us several times had body odor so bad it made us sick. Many of the servers' clothes were not neat and gave an unprofessional look. The older German lady who has worked there forever is always put together, professional and is quick to serve her customers. Takes pride in her work. Lastly, we were charged for the server's mistake with the soda. We don't mind paying for the correct drink, but not for their mistake also. This place has really gone downhill. read more

Our experience was not good. Sabrena did not introduce herself. She was not even wearing her name tag. She did not provide silverware to eat with, we had to ask for them after she dropped food and walked away. We had to flag her down for them. Our drinks were incorrect as well as one not provided. Bad experience. I try to give the benefit of the doubt and last time I went it was only so so. But evidently this waitress didn't like us. I offered to take my daughter and dil to lunch with the three grandkids and the waitress looked like she'd had sour grapes from the start. I thought well maybe it was just me. We have two special needs kids though they were doing pretty darn good... And then I watched and heard the difference between how she treated us and treated the other table she was waiting on. By th end it was pathetic. I heard her telling them to be sure and enter the review and give her a wow and on and on....I got a baked potato loaded that had no butter three pieces of grated cheese and four bacon bits. Sour cream on it. And it was warm. Not hot. The soup was actually steak cut up on top and no soup underneath. I had to ask got more tea. And butter. I got it after she went to fawn all over the other tables and bring them other things--but that didn't really bother me since I like to see people get good service. But really? I had a baby fussing who was cutting teeth. We were giving him Tylenol and he calmed down in the time it took her to get the butter back to me. How very sad. 61.00 for that. And I finally paid at the table because she never came back. I cleaned the table. Stacked all the dishes. Made sure it was all tidy--I always do if I take my grandchildren. Will I go back? Nope. I would not in anyway suggest going to this restaurant. Me and my friends (party of 4) went for the all you can eat boneless wings/rib-lets and shrimp. We wait over 45 minutes for our first order and they are incorrect. 1 time is understandable due to there being 4 people but on my second order of wings they are once again wrong and than an order of my friends wings came out as riblets. The waiter did not write anything down but acting surprised when the orders were wrong and management did not give an apology of any kind but actually acted more as a peer to the waiter than trying too please the consumer. I ordered the all the you can eat boneless chicken wings. I have seen it a few times over the past year or so, so I wanted to give it a try. It has been a few years since I visited. Overall, it was okay. I initially ordered the extra hot buffalo sauce wings. I wanted to try a couple of the other varieties. It was by far the best but it was "grossly" overcooked. They were "extremely" hard. Probably triple breaded. Out of the 4 different flavors I tried, it was the best. The garlic parmesan was good but too rich. The Asian sweet chili was horrible. The regular buffalo was good. The refill nuggets were about half the size of the original order and basically more breading than chicken. The fries were excellent. Their House Ranch was excellent. I ordered each refill, at the same time I got my food. I knew it would take awhile but damn, not that long! That is exactly why I ordered them when I did. Refills, half the size and they play the waiting game, that is utter bullshit. The last refill, I ordered, DOUBLE fries, because they offered ENDLESS FRIES and I got a regular order of fries. Which really pissed me off. I am not sure I will ever visit them again but if I do, I will not PLAY YOUR GD GAME! I waited a week to post this. I guess I am still a little pissed off, can you imagine how pissed off I was a week ago!? The server was okay. The service was okay but don't play games with me! My daughter and I ordered 2 cheese burgers w/ extra pickles, fresh fries, drinks (meal deal) w/ extra fresh fries. This was early birthday dinner since I had to work. The bartender is always moody but the service in the dining area is good for the most part. Other then that the food is very good. Their Cowboy burger and bacon cheese burger are one of my favorites. I also absolutely love the Oriental chicken salad. The dressing is so addicting! Oh and they serve a huge $3.00 margarita that is really good as well. These are usually the only things I will order at Applebees. The few things I've tried that I don't really care for are: The buffalo wings are too salty! The steak is ok. Not a very good cut of meat. Horrible! Was seated at 9:30 PM, appetizers didn't come out till 10:15! We ordered a kids meal and two entrees. The kids meal and one entree came out 25 minuets AFTER our appetizers came out. I love going to Applebee's!! No matter what city or state always seems to be the same consistency. I have tried mostly the salads soups and the lighter meals. Tilapia is great also. I have been to this particular Applebee's many times and the staff is great haven't had any issues....(knocking on wood)...sadly there seems to have been more bad reviews then good so come on people if you are reading this and had a decent or great meal lets hear it!! We go to Applebees in Duncan quite a bit because of the lacking of other sit down restaurants that aren't buffets. I like the appetizers they have. The steak is good, the deserts are great. I haven't tried the drinks. Their chicken wings are great too. They have a chicken wing night we used to go to and the wings were less expensive than normal. They also have specials after normal hours. The only complaint I would have about this restaurant is that the prices are a bit high. read more
