Service was fine. They got my order right. I got the super nachos and they were not great. Super processed subpar ingredients. And about half the chips were very stale. My son got a taco combo and loved it though. And my daughter got the kids quesadilla meal and liked the quesadilla and tots, but hated the "treat" that came with it. Wow. I don't know what happened here but something changed and not for the better. First order was missing all of the potato ones. Didn't find that out until we were 20 miles away. It was funny because the woman at the window was saying how hard the job was and she'd like to see the complainers come in and do her job all day without a mistake! The other day went back and the order was completely cold Ice cold! Ice cold Tacos ice cold oles ice cold like it came out of the refrigerator What a disappointment!! We stopped at maverick and asked if we could use the microwave if we bought something they said go ahead So that was sort of saved The tacos and burritos were better at maverick! No kidding. Daisy created a very negative experience for us. We currently live in Phoenix Arizona, and we were down visiting my father who is battling health issues. We love Taco Johns (Wyoming Native) and were very much looking forward to our usual order. It was such n unexpectedly poor example of TJ typically customer service to be told we had ordered something else, then have her argue with us about what we ordered, then sit at the drive through windowing listening while she proceeded to berate us to her co-worker, and finally to be treated so poorly when we went in and asked for a refund because we were afraid to eat the food she/they were preparing. We reached out on 7.25.24 and Alyssa Jensen told us we would hear back from her after she reviewed the video footage of our experience. We have yet to hear back from her. read more

My wife and I are traveling through Wyoming today and we stopped to have lunch at taco John's in Powell Wyoming. Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. I got the supreme burrito and it was cold and mostly flavorless. My wife got some kind of chicken burrito or soft taco roll up. The chicken was next to inedible - rubbery and cold. Went to get Tacos since it was Taco Tuesday and doors were locked, no one inside. This is at 7:15 pm and their hours state 7-10 pm. There was a sign on the door that stated they opened late this morning, but nothing about closing early. There were lights on and a mop bucket in the lobby. Looked like someone walked out mid-shift. Taco John's is easily one of the best fast food taco chains in the entire United States... Unfortunately, they're almost exclusively in the Midwest, which means I rarely get to enjoy them. I first discovered them in Omaha on a cross-country road trip... ...And I've made 3 more cross-country road trips since and I make sure to stop at ANY Taco John's I can find along the way. I've never had a bad experience. This location in Cody is no exception. If you don't know what to get, I recommend the Super Burrito... But no matter what you get, make sure you get some Potato Olès on the side! They're basically hash browns, deliciously seasoned. Great place for a Rice Bowl and churros. We do not have this type of restaurant where I live so I was interested in what it offered. It is a fast food place very much like Taco Bell that serves Mexican food. We decided to try it out. Glad we did. The staff was very friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food was very good. We got 2 rice bowls (1 steak and 1 chicken) and an order of churros and chips. All of the items were excellent and we plan to visit other Taco John's in the future. read more

It appalled me on how they hire the staff with such poor customer services. They rave about new management and doing better, but it gotten even worst. They did not prepared with care for ordered of food , missing items, taco wasn't wrap and thrown at the bottom. When we called and were told it's not their fault and nothing they can do about it and that it is doordash fault . The food was cold and employees were vaping in the kitchen by all of the food. food tasted disgusting as if it was bad. The store was dirty and the bathrooms were leaking and smelt of sewage. it took way too long for them to take my order as they were just standing around and talking with eachother not to mention they were swearing. The manager was rude when I told her my food was cold as she claimed "she just made them fresh" even though she says that the food was cold. I did not receive a refund or my food remade. Don't know why the 1 star reviews. I guess we got lucky and timed it right. Service was prompt and friendly. Unfortunately the power went out seconds after ordering and paying for our large order. We thought we were screwed because they had no way of making our food or refunding us but as luck would have it the power came back on 10 minutes later and they had our food ready shortly there after. The very best fast food experience we've had!!! Pulled in and enjoyed the 6 pack in a pound and a few chicken tacos which hit the spot!! Be forwarned that the option of "Inside Pickup" given on the App doesn't exist here. I ordered for 5:15 and when I got there at 5:16 I found the door locked and a sign that said to go through the drive through. Being Taco Tuesday I was car #11 in the drive through. I got to the window around 5:42, almost 30 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. The owner should call corporate and ask that that option be removed from the app until they reopen. The staff was nice enough, and to their credit, the Potato Ole's were nice and hot. However, when I got home 10 minutes later, the tacos were a soggy mess. The "crispy" in the Crispy taco was nowhere to be seen. I literally had to eat the tacos with a fork as they were like wet cardboard. Had I known that I couldn't pick up my order at the counter upon arrival I would have ordered in the drive-thru and avoided the horrible quality of half of my order. Not the staff though. They actually got the cars through pretty quickly - so kudos to them for the great effort. read more

This is one of my youngest grand daughter's favorite fast food places in town. On a recent visit we were not disappointed. We had a party of seven and the service was excellent, all the orders were correct and delivered fast. The side bar of different sauces, salsa,pico and jalapenos is a nice offering. If I have any negative comments it's that the ground beef lacks good spicy taste. Other than that our family always enjoys our visits to taco John's. read more

So sad! We ordered two soft shelled tacos got some beef potato taco, the lady when I questioned it went and asked the person who made it not the person who took my order. Frustrated I said fine and ate it. My 75 year old father asked for ranch chicken tacos and when we asked for additional ranch because there was none on his taco-- the same lady told us it's on the taco!!. This knock off Taco Bell chain is a joke, right? Pulled into the drive-thru around 7:00 p.m. and there's literally no one else there. Drive-thru and lobby are completely empty. I order a total of THREE items. I get to the window, pay the young lady for my order, she brings it to me, and I head out. I realize my mistake immediately - I didn't check to make sure they managed to get ALL THREE ITEMS IN THE BAG. Of course, they didn't. So, I turn around and go back for the missing item. There's still no one in the drive-thru or the lobby. I go back through the drive-thru. There's now a young man at the window. I inform him of the missing item and hand him the receipt. I then ask if the missing item comes with cheese, or do I need to order that separately. He informs me that I have to order it separately. He does not apologize for inconveniencing me, and actually has the audacity to charge me for a little dipping cup of cheese sauce. It wasn't expensive, but that's not the point, is it? To top off the entire experience, the missing item (tater tots) were STILL COLD INSIDE. There's a reason I don't patronize Taco John's, and tonight was a reminder. My advice? Starve until you get to Montana. read more

Anyway, not much was open in town, we were pretty hungry, and we didn't want to go to a familiar fast food place. So, we ended up here. The lady who took our order was friendly and helpful explaining what ingredients were in some of their burritos. I decided upon the chicken grilled burrito. My wife order a variety of tacos. The burrito was very tasty and filling. Of the tacos, my wife thought they were all good, but the steak street taco was a step above the others. We were glad we gave this place a chance. read more

Let me start this by saying if I could give negative stars I would. We stopped here on our way to Yellowstone this morning and ordered two burritos and a small potato ole. As we were turning out we noticed we only received one of the two burritos. We turned around and went back to the drive thru only for a female worker to accuse us of lying, saying she had personally packed the bag and that if we wanted another she could ring us up for it. After insisting we just didn't recieve it she told us to just pull up. At the window a male worker then accused us of lying saying that he personally had packed the bag (?? Which didn't add up whatsoever). After he literally accused us of lying multiply times and said that's what many people do he finally (and very rudely) made a burrito. One I felt a little unsafe to eat based off his attitude (and didn't eat). I never have been talked to in such a manner and I would never eat at this location if I were you. Based on the reviews this is a common occurrence and if you insist on coming here I would atleast check your bag in front of them so you don't get accused of lying if you pull off a little. read more

My family stopped by for dinner between soccer games today and we had such a great experience. The cashier I do believe her name was sadina. Was super friendly and very talkative to my son. She asked him how he played and wished him good luck at his next game. She made suggestions on food, told us her favorite and talked about upgrading our meal. She showed amazing customer service.
