I tried the new "Taco Exxpress" in Fairfield........... So delicious. A little disappointed they don't have a sausage breakfast burrito, but the steak was super good, carne asada fries delicious, and the California burrito was what I've been missing. I'm glad there's a drive through, missing my weekend go to since Baldos closed. I give them the 5 stars ! I'm definitely a meat eater and I LOVE how much meat they put on all the things I've tried! My only suggestion would be a little more guacamole and sour cream on my fries. But I ain't crying, that's for sure! Delicious! Keep it up! read more

Line is long, like most Mexican fast food here in Fairfield. But, it's definitely worth the wait. Their meat has great flavor and their speed of service is great. Also, the pozole, is actually really good for fast food service. read more

The food is still good, but the service is lousy, They have 2 different signs regarding their burrito special. One says Monday only; while another says Monday and Tuesday. The Monday only says express burrito with no description. The other sign specially says California chicken burrito $5.99 Monday and Tuesday only. When I bought this to the cashier's attention he proceeded to argue. This is clearly confusing as well as false advertisement. I took a picture and will be sending this to the corporate office. The could have honored the price and then went out and took down the sign. read more

I finally tried this spot yesterday, i ordered the 2 crunchy taco plate one chicken and one beef. Very tasty and not too greasy. I like that they use crumbled Mexican cheese on top and I like that the plate comes with rice and beans. Im not sure why the jalapeño and pickled carrots are extra though, I think im used to them being available to you if you want them and then left out if you don't from your order. Overall I'm happy with this place, I'm definitely coming back to try the hot cheeto burrito. read more

I went by there drive thru on Monday around 5 Pm, they there superrrr busy. Long line, I wonder why! The food is bomb!!!, but the people in the kitchen sure know what they are doing. In no time we were being charged and our order was handed over. The customer service was excellent, nice cozy feeling. The horchata I got was huge! And I think it was a large, perfect rice cinnamon flavored drink. I got 6 street tacos Al Pastor, my favorite choice of meat so far! It taste just like Trompo!!! I also got a wet burrito with carne Asada, nothing can go wrong with that it's always great! And an order of Carne Asada fries. So it was between chinese or Mexican. Mexican won out. I ordered the carne asada torta (no beans) crispy chicken tacos, and al pastor street taco. EVERYTHING was delicious. I was excited to try this spot, since I read the reviews and a friend of mine said it was good. So I tried their regular grilled chicken burrito. The service was fast since was in a hurry. I got home and dug in. For me the chicken didn't taste grilled at all. Also, it had too much onion and I had to pick some of it out in order to finish eating it. I will give them a second chance. I've seen the "Open Now" banners for the last couple of weeks that I drive by on West Texas St. and vowed to try it, after all, another good taco place is what Fairfield needed. I stopped in couple days ago and noticed there were some new items but it was apparent a remodel that took place with existing items. The menu was really comprehensive and more than I wanted. Chips and salsa an open item on counter and free for patrons. I went in for a burrito but saw one of my favs on the menu.. Pozole, a everyday item on the menu so I thought I'd chance it. I ate-in so the food was brought to me in a big bowl with just the right amount of "stuff" like cabbage, chopped onions, oregano, chile, limon and several tostadas. I have to honestly say that it was one of the tastiest soups I've had in awhile. Really thick and rich, not like some other places that water down the soup. Posole and meat were great... While I ate indoors, there was alot of foot traffic ordering to-go items. Not a lot of the patrons stayed to eat in although it was pleasant enough to do so. Been driving by this restaurant since before they opened. Wish I had never stopped here. I ordered 2 things shredded chicken super burrito and steak quesadilla. There was NO shredded chicken in the burrito but there was some kind of little squares of mystery meat. Looked exactly like what I feed my dog. One bite and In the garbage it went. It didn't taste like anything I've ever had from a Mexican restaurant. The steak quesadilla definitely had NO steak again it had some kind of ground up meat. The girl who helped me kept repeating my order in Spanish and Spanish versions of the meat. I had no idea what she was saying so I repeated shredded chicken and steak quesadilla and again she used Spanish words for the meat. I definitely did not feel welcome here. I WILL NEVER BE BACK.
