That was on me, but still, the drink itself was solid. For my meal, I got the spicy shrimp appetizer, and we also shared guacamole and chips--probably the best guac I've had yet! The chips were light and airy, which I really appreciated. Our friends got the fish tacos with a side of rice and beans--also very fresh and flavorful. The tuna tacos were great too. Our waiter was really nice and had no issue splitting the checks for us. The inside is nicely decorated, and the wall of tequila adds a fun touch. The outdoor seating felt a bit cramped though--where we sat, it seemed like we were super close to other tables, and it was a little tight for the waitstaff to move around. Overall, a really good experience! They weren't kidding when they said spicy shrimp--it was definitely spicy, but in the best way. The breading and flavor were on point.

My boyfriend had a variety of tacos (fish, shrimp, and ribeye steak) but the fish taco was his favorite. There were only 2-3 young men working the front of the house and they were hustling. They spoke very loud and clear (a good thing!) and stayed busy taking orders, cleaning tables, and checking on guests. Job well done to those hard workers. Inside is a bit tight. When we visited, a part of the restaurant was closed off for a party so seating was limited to the few tables up front. Don't waste your time on asking for salsa verde because it tastes like nothing. The queso fundido is good but gets dry and hard fast. It's not very cheesy and melty like others I've had. Don't waste your time on the guac either, it's just mashed avocado. It needs some seasoning or spice or lime at minimum. And the chicken fajita's are absolutely awful. It was so disappointing. They have a very sweet and almost bbq-like taste. Also, you really don't get much chicken even. It's mostly just onions and peppers. I had to spit them out. The rice is good though. I'd some back for drinks and chips & salsa but that would really be it. The server was good and attentive and the restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day. It was cute. We were seated outside around 7:30 PM, and the live music created a nice atmosphere. After being seated, our server brought chips and dip and took our drink orders. My children's drinks and my husband's drink arrived fairly quickly, but I waited quite a while for my drink. The server returned to take the adults' meal orders before my drink arrived, but did not ask for the children's orders and left the table. About an hour into our visit, we still had not received our food. When the children's meals finally arrived, one of the meals was not the cheeseburger that had been ordered. The server stated that a different kids' burger had been ordered and then took the food away. Shortly afterward, the adults' meals arrived. My parents, who joined us later, received their food soon after. While we appreciated being seated earlier than expected and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere, the service was slow, there appeared to be confusion regarding the children's order, and the overall dining experience took much longer than anticipated.
