Sandra (waitstaff) was great assisting us with our order, very friendly, good customer service…read moreskills. Building was very nicely done & clean. Sitting area was perfect for my family. We ordered Enchiladas Chicken, Quesadilla plate, & they had Aguas Frescas. All the food was hot & taste great. Portions were perfect for the price. This definitely hit my Mexican food need, having been out of NM for 2 weeks. 3 adults eating for $43 wasn't bad at all.

After church, our pastor recommended this place for the tacos and menudo, and the menu offers so…read moremany options to choose from! Definitely authentic Mexican food and decent service. Polish up on your Spanish I was most impressed with the complimentary chips w/3 types of salsa and small bowls of frijoles a la charra for each of us YUM the beans were D-lish! I like to try what hasn't been reviewed yet so I had the Pozole Rojo (red hominy soup w/pork meat & spices) Very big serving bowl with lots of broth w/plain crisp tostadas x3. The Menudo and the Pozole were definitely at least a level 3 spice for me (but I'ma wimp when it comes to spice). The menudo, same generous size bowl, was too spicy for Ma so we took it to-go for my dad. Bro ordered Enchiladas Verdes plate w/chicken.. again very generous portion w/4 enchiladas rice n beans. The green sauce was a little spicy as well for him. He only ate half. Grandson ordered beef asada quesadilla plate which he loved served with rice and beans. Granddaughter ordered 2 plain bean and cheese tostadas but expected cheddar cheese and not queso fresco... well, I gobbled those up for her too! To drink, sweet tea has free refills, the large Jamaica was tasty, and the kids opted for Jarritos. It was 84.99 for three adults and two kids. A little pricy in my opinion but I'd go again to try more menu entrees.

UPDATED DETAILED REVIEW:…read more Food: The food is always 10/10. I usually order the same thing every time; Fried Oreos, Mexican Potato, etc. and it always tastes the same so I don't have room for complaints. Service: 10/10 The workers are always friendly/respectful and get to customers whenever they have a chance. I will say the wait time is long but that's because the food is MADE TO ORDER. It's fresh food, *not* fast food. If you're not patient or on a time crunch then this isn't the place you should be dining at. There is literally a disclaimer on the ordering window by checkout talking about the wait time and their reasoning as to why orders take so long. There's also an app where you can order ahead of time! Ambiance: 7/10 The vibe of the place is kinda like a mom and pop shop. The walk-in is small and can fit about three people comfortably MAX. It's not made to sit down and eat (there is a lil seating area but we use it more as a waiting area than dining.) It just gets a bit uncomfy when DoorDashers are trying to pick up orders and customers are also placing orders, it gets packed like a can of sardines...

I do remember I said cheese on the side and they put it on my fries. It was all melted on everything. I let my neice and nephews eat most of it. Would I try something else on their menu...idk. Probably...if I didnt have to pay for it.
