Food was good chicken tacos were great flavor Service: new hostess didn't know menu, had never tasted b4 Ambiance clean, new, fast, different! Not just same o same o taco! Worth a 2nd visit $$$ read more

Tacos delicious Rice good Tilapia yum yum Enchiladas bomb and you can try multiple meats on the 5 enchilada plate. Fajitas, barbacoa, and al pastor are great. I felt adventurous and tried picadillo too...don't do that lol. The sauce is A1 but watch out if you have sodium limitations, cheese is on the inside as well. I was disappointed in the amount of al pastor they gave but the others meats had more. Although tasty it's getting hard to justify the price with the amount of food provided. four plates and three drinks was about $75. read more

I'm craving a breakfast burrito, but I wanted an authentic breakfast burrito. I Googled what was in my area and Tacos Cantu came up. I am so glad I came here! The tortilla was made fresh and the eggs are real and freshly scrambled. I added chicken and potatoes for a small up charge, but well worth the price. They're salsa is delicious as well. The customer service was great and the ambiance is like a small Mexican Cantina. I will definitely be back for another breakfast burrito, my new habit! This is a must try breakfast spot or lunch spot! read more

Best tacos/service in Dallas ! Beef fajitas are really good. Chicken tacos are good as well.

The young man that works in the front...I witnessed him accepting phone calls by answering and immediately muting the call. Not saying hello? Hold please. Nothing. Just clicks it! Then hangs up on the person. It's only him that does this. I've called in orders plenty times, and have sat in the dinning area and witness his shenanigans. Lost multiple call in orders I am sure! read more

We ordered 4 bacon and egg tacos to go. Almost $10 for the tiniest tacos I've ever seen. I swear they used one egg for all 4 tacos. You couldn't even taste the bacon. The place has so much potential. Stop being stingy. Tortillas and salsa were great. I may just order that next time. read more

Placed order for curbside pickup. Drive up the young lady looks at me for 5 minutes and never bring my order to me. I get in and questioned why, She tells me they don't offer curbside pickup. Yet my receipt has CURBSIDE on it and my vehicle info is printed on it. LIAR read more

Placed an Uber eats order. Breakfast burrito and two breakfast tacos. Burrito was missing the sour cream that I paid for and the green sauce that I asked for. I asked for two potato and bacon tacos. Didn't ask for eggs at all! I don't like eggs! I received two bacon and egg tacos. I was disgusted from the smell. Instantly closed the container and threw it away. Won't be back. Now I'm off to find lunch. read more

Very delicious!! Does not disappoint. The chicken tacos and the beef fajita tacos are great. Love the chips and guacamole too. I will definitely try there chips and queso next time read more

The food is good. Flavor is spot on but the portion for your tacos is small. I would come back for the food but the lady that took my order tried to argue and gaslight me that there were potatoes in the taco when there were none. I ordered potato egg and ham. They forgot the potatoes. When I told the lady she brought out the ticket to confirm I ordered the potatoes and although I had the taco open infront of her eyes, she argued "there are potatoes in there". I said "where"? And she kept trying to convince me there were potatoes when there were clearly none. Then she finally agreed there were none and said "do u want me to add the potatoes"? By then I was so annoyed at her I didn't want her touching my food, so I declined. It was simple.. could have just looked at the taco and noticed missed potatoes, offered to make it right, but noooo, she had to go get a copy of the ticket, then argue twice, before agreeing, then not offer to make it right. Why? Why couldn't the employee just do right by the customer? Will it financially destroy the business to literally give me the equivalent of 3 french fries in an egg and ham taco? Again, the food flavor is good, but the lady gets an F for customer service. read more

THE SERVICE. There used to be a girl who wore glasses and took orders, nicest girl ever. There is a new girl working the register named KIM, the girl with the horrible red lipstick. Kim is rude to customers (African Americans, to be exact). Kim gives off a negative energy and is rude to customers when they are ordering. She rushes you with an attitude while you're in the middle of ordering. Kim doesn't seem like a good fit when it comes to customer service! read more

I was wrong about this place, I judged a book by its cover and was highly wrong, this place is pretty good. I thought it was going to be some hyped tacos with no flavor but they are the complete opposite. Somebody cooked these like they made them for themselves. read more

The atmosphere is clean and welcoming...1 star. Service was professional and courteous...1 star. I ordered a 5 taco plate with double rice no beans and a cucumber lime agua fresca. I got (1) barbacoa, (2) chicken and (2) beef fajita tacos. ALL of the meat was dry. The fajita meat was chopped up so tiny it looked like ground beef. The tortillas were good. The rice was ok.. tasted like boxed rice. Definitely not worth the money!! read more

The food was good! I would recommend the flour tortilla and the steak or pastor. I loved how the tortilla was fried a little and they put cheese in the tacos. The food came out fast but the only thing that is lacking was that there could have been a little more rice and beans but other than that the green salsa was soooo good!!! And the drink was good! Cucumber lime. The ambiance was cozy and the service was good polite at the counter and easy to talk to since it was my first time there read more

The service is mid- it's just a few young girls that seem like they'd rather text and talk to their friends versus working. I ordered the guac and chips which was decent. The elotes made me physically sick and I ended up throwing up. Someone in our group said the carnitas tasted like rubber with cumin. No one was satisfied. The aqua Fresca was flavorless and an overall disappointment. There are so many other places to go to. read more

The food is traditional and is amazing. Giving three stars because over the last two months every order we have gotten has had entire missing entrees and we have to drive 15 minutes back to the restaurant. In addition, the burritos are way overpriced - in particular the breakfast burritos. Yesterday they forgot a sopa, a few weeks ago and entire taco platter was missing and instead we had a cheese quesadilla. They made it right with some churros so thanks! There are a few other orders that were wrong but we checked on site. Please, whoever you have bagging the orders, do a better job marking the ticket off. The ticket was marked on every order that was wrong... but the person marking had marked through the missing items anyway... and it looks like the mark was a mistake from the entree above or below making it looked checked off. I want to recommend their soups (they are delicious!) but I wish they would also add Chicken Tortilla Soup which is like a standard soup at Mexican places or some other Chicken Options as not everyone eats pork. I wish the enchiladas had some additional sauce options when building them on the menu... ranchero, verde, sour cream, chili, etc. Finally, thank you for having Calabacistas and vegetarian options! read more

My wife and I used to order regularly from here, but the food quality and order mistakes have ruined this place for us. We just got an UberEats order from here with a missing drink, missed modifications, and no salsa for items that should have had it. Though, we were blocked from get a refund for the missing item. The Elote used to be made with fresh corn, this is no longer the case. The nice authentic touches like using Cojita cheese have disappeared. This place used to get plenty of money from us, not any more. read more

I ordered food through an app amenify and went to pick it. I showed the workers the receipt and they looked perplexed. Is this the right address. Of course it was. We used it before. Their tacos taste good but their service is subpar. I ordered tacos to go for my family of 5. I waited at the restaurant while my family was at home. It took over 30 minutes for my order but I wasn't too upset because I thought they were pretty busy with orders from Uber eats or something. They were apologetic for the wait and offered me a soda. I declined. No biggie. When I got home, I realized we were short 2 tacos so I called them and asked for the rest. They started asking me all sorts of questions about how many containers I had and how many tacos were in each container, etc. like they thought I was trying to scam them. They said they had counted everything. So, I had hungry disappointed kids. I drove back up there and had to wait for them to make the additional tacos. They have really good corn tortillas so I asked if they would give me some for all the trouble. Nope! They were going to charge me normal price. They never even apologized for their mistake. read more

Food is okay. Chorizo nice and spicy. Portion is HORRIBLE vs cost!! A breakfast taco of bacon egg and cheese, lucky if it had a 3 to 4"tortilla and 1to 2 ounces of actual filling. Smallest taco ever seen for$2.69. Wife and I had breakfast plates $11.99 again smallest portions possible to consider it even a plate. Micro size tortillas. Will not go back to this place. It's an order at counter and they bring to you style. They never check on you after that. Cups are cute and all but not safe and comfortable to drink from. (Chips ,ridges and heavy.) Taste being okay is the only thing they have going for them. read more

Ok, a year later and I understand some of the negatives. Not about the food, which is decent, but the service has proven to be undependable. Placed an order for a dozen breakfast tacos for my class several days ago, paid in advance, to be picked up at 7 am. I show up at 7, they haven't even started. It's simple. Do what you say you are going to get to do, when you agree to do it. I can't depend on this place anymore. Next! And, to top it all off, they got the order wrong! No utensils, no red sauce, and that typical shrugged shoulders attitude from the teenager behind the counter who obviously hates her job. Really sad for what was once a pretty good restaurant. read more

Really great freshly made tortillas! I ordered breakfast tacos, bacon egg and cheese and fajita egg and cheese, both tasted great. I'd prefer them to be bigger, it was the size of a street taco. It wasn't full of meat either, but overall a pretty decent breakfast. The tortilla and the spicy green sauce stood out the most to me. Very delicious! read more

This place is definitely slept on, we got cheese fries, quesadilla and 5 tacos flower. They bring the food to your table and they have cool cups with faces. The shrimp quesadilla was amazing, one of the better ones I've ever had. The tacos were small but cheap, I got barbacoa, pastor, chicaron, fajita and something called picadollo that I've never had before. Their barbacoa is just amazing, it's very flavorful. The pastor, chicaron and fajita were very good and the picadollo was interesting. The beans and rice were okay and I didn't really like the fries but there's a lot to like about this place. So I've eaten there twice to assure the place wasn't for me. Starters you walk in and the smell is awful. The restroom smells worst! I ordered tacos, enchiladas, and the burger and myself or family was not pleased at all. Literally all threw out our food and went elsewhere because the food did not meet our expectations. Took a while to remove the taste from my mouth and it most definitely did not stay down. I honestly don't even think the chicken was chicken! Literally will NEVER be back! read more

I enjoy the tacos! The in person service is great but when I called in for a pick up order, they kept me on hold until I actually walked into the restaurant only to find they weren't busy but per the lady, she forgot I was on the phone.
