So if you're older and remember the Taco Light from Taco Bell and still miss it, you'll want to visit Taco Casa and get a Taco Lite. I swear it's the same taco! Most crispy shell tacos are corn tortillas, but a Taco Light/Lite is a crispy flour tortilla and also has sour cream & tomatoes. We ordered food for like ten people so it took a couple of minutes to get our order, but nothing out of line. It was kinda weird that they wanted to know how many hot sauce packets we wanted so I blurted out that we wanted ten because I wasn't thinking. Lol. I love taco casa! Every restaurant is clean. The workers are friendly and I like the food for a quick bite. The only downside to Taco Cass is that everything of the menu is overly salty. Like really salty. It's the first thing that hits you. There's some things on the menu that I really love because of the sodium content I stay with the crunchy tacos because they seem to taste the least saltiest. Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered two things. One came out. Waited on the side to ask about missing food. Ignored for 5 minutes so I go stand in line a second time. She said we will check on it. Another few minutes waiting on the side. Then she and the other workers tell me I only ordered a taco. I said no I ordered two things. She said oh sorry I missed it and walks off to wait on another customers. No mention of how to make it right and I think she expected me to wait in the long line a third time. This manager needs to retrain their people on how to deal with customers in a nice way. read more

I'm not sure what it is, but Taco Casa is just better. Actually, I do know, it's consistent quality. Taco Casa is easily the best Mexican fast food restaurant. I've been to multiple locations, and it's always the same excellent product. Each item is bigger, better, fuller, than the same items at Bell or Bueno. With prices going up all the time, we deserve more than some skimpy, half full taco. The spicy sauce is good on anything! I try to get extra, which they will do, and put it on my eggs in the morning. What a treat! Yes, I still eat at Bell and Bueno because sometimes there just isn't a Taco Casa close. My loss. Try the super burrito. It's awesome! read more

Dear Taco Casa in Decatur, Your management is crap. My kid got hurt in the job yesterday and they wouldn't let us file and incident report. The managers reason for not being reachable is she has a life. I asked for cooperates number and she said employees aren't allowed to have it. My daughter is 16 and stuck at home with a swollen foot, taking her the ER in a few. Shame on you Taco Casa and the manager is Misty Downing, this is the type of person you leave in charge. Also the manager on duty felt it appropriate to laugh at my child after the incident. Guess it's on my to make you uncomfortable since you want to treat your minor employees this way! As far as take out Mexican food in Decatur goes this the the better of the chain restaurants. Quick and easy with larger potions than the competition the food tastes more fresh usually. Inside there is plenty of seating and the store looks clean. The sweet tea here is amazing and during certain hours you can get any size for only 99 cents or a gallon of tea for a reasonable price. Overall nothing super special, it is a chain restaurant so what can be said, but for quick food on the go it's a good option in Decatur. read more

I stopped by today as I live in Nocona Texas. Normally I don't have a problem , was at the drive-through, how many hot sauce packets would you like, 10 I said . Taco Casa has delicious food and they are very generous with there toppings. i.e plenty of cheese, tomato ect. There tea is great and reasonably priced. I frequent fast food places that are open so you can see the food being prepared. I also watch for places that require their employees handling food to wear gloves. Taco Casa fits both of these requirements for me. But today I almost walked out. ( I was talked out of it by my companion) One of the ladies was refilling the cheese bin in the food prep isle. I guess she forgot she was in view of customers. While filling the bin with cheese she picked up a large handful and stuffed it in her mouth!! Gross. I will not be back to this location. I am giving 3 stars because the food is good and the restaurant overall ( what I can see of it) looks clean. In hind sight I should have spoken to a manager. Nasty food at outrageous prices! My taco salad was huge, didn't eat more than 4 bites. Husband had the "super taco". Ha! That was a crappy joke of a meal. The best part of the meal was the fact that they weren't busy. We should have taken that as a cue to go elsewhere. Taco Bell is way faster, way better taste, and a much better value. i asked for one supreme nacho with the toppings on the side and not only were the toppings not on the side but they charged me for 3 supreme nachos. i'm sure it was a misunderstanding because their intercom was very muffled and the cashier didn't give a read back, just told me to pull up to the outside lane. i called minutes after the order and explained the situation to the manager and she refused to refund the charges even if i brought back the two extra nacho orders. terrible customer experience. the manager just seemed to want to find a way to blame me for the mixup without working to get this resolved. it sucks because i really did love taco casa and i go there like 3-4 times a week but i won't be returning after this experience. read more

Favorite fast food but the service is awful. The workers are not friendly. After a 35 minute wait my order was wrong and I I had to asked for items which I was told were in the bag. Haven't eaten there much in past year -seems to have gone downhill. Used to eat there weekly. Same problems as today border wrong get home and have to go back. Missing items,etc. :( read more
