We were here last night at 10pm after a soccer game. Ordered 2 steak tacos and 4 chicken tacos. Waited for 17 minutes at the drive through window. I would have just left, but we were all hungry and tired. 1 girl kept going back and forth to the front apparently grabbing items to make a single taco at a time, while everyone else just walked around drinking soda or or just doing nothing. The drive through girl, never attempted to tell us what the hold up was, she actually just stayed away from the window. I watched 6 chicken tacos be made, 2 had nothing but chicken, no sauce, onions or peppers as I ordered. When the drive through girl finally handed me the bag of food, I asked her, "Are you sure there are steak tacos in there? Because I watched the girl make only chicken." She says yeah, and shut the window in my face and walked off. Terrible service and rude, unkept, dirty window girl. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Maybe they changed owners? This location used to be pretty decent but now it's just bad. The food comes out messy and the sauce bar is always out of stuff. You ask someone to fill up the sauce bar and they say sure...only to wait 15 minutes for them to finally get to it. The jalapeño's are terrible. Jalapeño's are supposed to be crunchy not mushy. Looks like they are trying to cut costs and it shows. Avoid this location. read more

No stars. Neglected exterior and landscaping. Understaffed, awful food, dirty restaurant. Been going down hill for years. No bueno. Avoid. read more

There was one competent employee here. When we got here, she had four people "helping" her. The guy at the cash register acted like he didn't know anything that was on the menu. He left after we paid, and then the service got VERY slow. It took almost an hour to get food after we walked in the door. They need a clean start with at least 80%of the staff fired. read more

Seriously just took 20 minutes to make 15 flautas. Was in drive through, but after 10 minutes decided to go in and get salsas. Dirty- food all over the floor. Even in the drive through- you can see from the window where they prepare the food- dirty counter. People standing around not doin anything. Probably worst fast food experience, and that says something. Won't be returning. read more

Terrible and filthy. Salsa bar was nearly empty with salsa all over the top of the bar. Drink machine not working properly and out of ice. Trash and sticky syrup all over counter. Most tables were dirty and trash cans overflowing. Employees were standing around and not cleaning anything. There are so many other good tex-mex places nearby you should check them out before this one. read more

Went in 1/24/20 for a late lunch. Have to watch my carbs. (I know, what am I doing in a place filled with tortillas and chips) Asked if I could just order sides and Keshia said I could get anything I wanted. Ordered lettuce fajita beef , sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. She suggested getting a bowl. It would cost less. So I ordered one with no beans or rice.,with the above ingredients. She hooked me up! This salad ,first off was beautiful. Everything was so good and fresh. I was not expecting this at all. Exceptional! Thank you Keshia, you are an excellent employee, and you made this diabetics life a little better. read more

I can't even give them one star the past 2 years they have went downhill EVERYTIME I try again they fail me! They are always out of everything by 8!!! Ridiculous!! read more

Got the weekly Sunday special and fed my family of 5 for about $20. Food was good, employees were nice, restaurant was clean.

Have been here twice, (three if you count the return on the same morning for a wrong order) in the past three days and both times it was a mess. Last night I called the main customer service number about midnight and spoke a very long time to a very understanding young woman. Today, I received a call from the Manager, not the GM of TC in The Woodlands. I very much appreciated that call back and wasn't expecting it at all. We spoke of issues that I noticed were happening over the past 6 to 8 months or longer and he assured me that TC was working to get this location back up to par. I will continue to give this establishment a chance because typically their food is good value and taste for a chain and their breakfast is always good! I have hopes that they are not like one of six chains, who have shut their doors on College Park in the past year. Some others not mentioned have been sold and their business names changed. Taco Cabana has been around a long time and I would like to see them remain in place.....my last comment, please bring back your rotisserie chicken! read more

Great food, excellent enchiladas... And $12.00 for two people. They forgot our drink though and wasn't worth driving back. The menu has the most popular Mexican dishes. The beans and rice were really good. Also the food wasn't heavy like your typical Mexican restaurants. Big plus... read more

I was to provide breakfast for a client training/meeting this week so I went to a Texas stand by breakfast of Taco's, offering variety and a morning flavor explosion for the taste buds. I noticed there was an online order system for pick up the next day. I called on my way in the next morning just as a safeguard... Yay my order was ready! The staff and management were so accommodating, making sure all was correct upon my arrival. This was 8:30 a.m. and luckily there was no line, I pulled right up to the window and was promptly handed my order. When I received my receipt the manager had also made sure to include my on line discount. The only thing that could have made this easier for me is if Taco Cabana also offered Coffee to go for a large group. Maybe this can be an option in the future? Great experience for a last minute business meeting. Convenient, Quick, and Delicious! read more

Consistently demonstrates serious problems, there is always something going wrong. The drive thru takes 30 minutes with just a few cars in line read more

This place could be so much better! We waited 35 minutes for our food and only received half the order. Restaurant is dirty and under staffed. read more

WORST PLACE EVER. I don't know what the hell is wrong with taco cabana. I went there a couple months ago and it was terrible I waited 50 minutes for my order. So I left a review on yelp for that incident and they responded and gave me money back. So I was like you know what let me try taco cabana again. So I go there tonight call in for my curbside order they tell me my order is not there. So I send my husband inside and they tell him that someone has already picked my order up. So he comes out to the car hands me my phone and I go inside to talk to them. The manager on duty was so rude and could not give me any answer. All she kept saying is that they gave The food to someone else and that they apparently had the confirmation on their phone for my order. I do not believe this. If that's the case then taco cabana needs to look into why people are hacking into other peoples taco cabana accounts and picking up orders. This is a huge security concern seeing as my debit card is saved onto the app under my profile. Now if that's not the case then obviously the lady at taco cabana is lying and just gave my order out to the wrong person and would not admit it. Only after We went back and forth for 15 minutes and I got visibly upset and started raising my voice did she finally offer to remake my food for me. I have never been more upset about a situation than I am today. She was rude and disrespectful and just kept saying "I don't know. I don't know" I will be figuring out a way to contact corporate because this situation was not handled correctly and they need to learn how to train their managers and employees. read more

I pick up the office breakfast on Fridays from this location sometimes. Hit or miss on whether or not it will be ready when I arrive to pick it up even after I call in order the day before. HOWEVER...I forgot to call in the order this past week and had to walk up and order 5 dozen tacos to go. They were VERY accommodating and the manager even offered to help carry the boxes out to my car. They're tortillas are very good except with the economy they've gotten smaller as have many other products out there. Still always good though. Food is good for a fast food place. Very reasonably priced. read more

Nastiest taco cabana I've ever been in. Do not eat here. I threw my food out. Salsa bar looked tired, old and was dirty. Coffee pots looked like they had never been cleaned. Dirty counters. Bathrooms deplorable. Kitchen floors were disgusting. Tortilla trays were filthy. Old tortillas were on the floor behind the tortilla machine. Dirty door handles and windows. Absolutely sick. Beyond belief. read more

This taco cabana is the best. The really helped me with my diet. Only because I literally starved to death waiting for my food. Really. I'm dead now. But it's okay because I'm taking solace in the fact that I will never have to go to this location again. By the way, my body is still here in the dining area because they never clean it. Actually I may be the most productive employee here now that I think of it. Fiiiiiiiivvvveeee stars!!!! read more

Do you like long waits in the drive thru without the ability to leave? Do you like being hated by our employees simply for having the gall to patronize our establishment? Do you like paying more and getting less? Then come on down to Taco Cabana! Just remember our motto, "We hate you!" *queue jingle* read more

WOW... Late night last nite stopped by Taco Cabana to grab a burrito for the wife and myself sat in front of the drive though speaker several minutes saying "Hello". thought must not be working, drove around to the window and was met by female employee adjusting headset and said sorry, something about the headset, What do you want? (excellent service there!) Ordered and paid for two burritos she didnt get the order correct and when I asked if they they were going to correct it she gives me this put out look, huffs and hits the register and says that will be an additional $1.45 for s couple of squirts of sour cream (walmart and HEB gets .99 a pint and makes $$ from there). At this point forget it. Got home, started to eat my USDA steak burrito. Three bites into it and hadn't hit steak yet? unrolled it and counted U-1, S-2, D-3, A-4 pieces of thinly sliced meat in a $7. some odd cent burrito! UNBELIEVABLE! Long story short, Terrible service, and quantity for $$. quality as OK. If you like beans and rice for $11 bucks for 2 burritos this is your place. This is the worst Taco Cabana I have been too!!!! SUPER SLOW SERVICE! If you are here for lunch time forget about eating. It took 45 minutes for a steak quesadilla and 1 hour for a salad bowl. All employees are rude and slow wish I could give it 0 stars. read more

This place has went down hill. Takes 15 minutes to get to drive thru window and another 15 for them to make our order. We wanted to add additional things to our order but was told that it could not be done at the window. Really! You do not want to make money. Then a worker is taking adding Dukes barbecue sauce to his whataburger hamburger. Really this place should really be shut down. read more

I read the negative reviews, but decided to ignore to make my own decision. Boy, the negative reviews are spot on! I'm not one to complain, but this place really needs to be overhauled. Ice machine had some sort of black mold/gunk inside the dispenser. No ice tea and no one around to care to make more. The salsa island was beyond disgusting. Salsa spilled everywhere and the salsa inside the container was warm as if it had been there for hours. The place was a bit dirty; floors, tables, chairs, salsa bar. I know the trash can holds trash, but the trash can was so gross, you can chip off the food grim from around the brim. This place is unacceptable and is an embarrassment. Please reconsider and eat elsewhere. read more

There are great people in this world with big hearts.. They happen to be at this taco cabana. The manager and employees are some of the nicest people I have ever met!! They helped a hungry pregnant women who is very absent-minded.. The food was amazing! Fresh crispy tacos with lettuce and tomatoes, and a gooey cheese and chicken quesadilla were gobbled down in less than 2mins!! Thank you for a great meal I can't wait to go back! read more

Drive thru is consistently excruciatingly slow! Not the place to pick up food if you're in a hurry.

Ridiculous wait time for food. Nearly 20 minutes waiting for one burrito to go. Barely any customers in the place other than those standing and waiting for their food too. Slowest moving employees working on a Friday evening....??? read more

Honestly, this chain as a whole has always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants but this particular location is horrible. DO NOT come here unless you are prepared to spend at least 25-30 minutes in the drive thru.. this is the norm for this store. And that's the better end of the spectrum - inside is worse. Polite human interaction, as would be expected in customer service, is not common here either. I love me some Taco Cabana but I REALLY REALLY have to be craving it to go to this place... read more

Worst taco cabana I've ever been too. The employees don't care about their job and it's obvious. After we got our food in the drive through we had to wait at the window until the lady opened it again because she forgot a drink and napkins. When we got on the road we saw they forgot to give me a fork to eat my breakfast plate with and they also didn't give me the cream and sugar I asked for to go with my coffee, and my food was COLD! GO TO WHATABURGER next door instead. read more

I have been three times and every time it got a little worse. I have never waited less then 5-10 minutes for someone to take my order at the counter (that was with no one in front of me during normal meal times.). While waiting someone always yells from the kitchen "we will be right with you!" Last time we waited 15 minutes for food only to be served food that was dripping in grease and missing sauce (we were one of two families in the building at the time.) To top it off our food came on a dirty tray that I watched an employe pick up from the counter after another customer dropped it up and put our food on without even running a rag over it! read more

My dad and I go to this location every Sunday , at this time on 11-11-18 around 11am it was not busy and we waited 45 min for our food, never takes that long and was not busy at all. I don't mind waiting for food if it's fresh but it was not that good for the wait . As church and noon approached it did start to pick up. I work in food service and this was completely unacceptable customer service by the employees , no sense of urgency and the employees looked like zombies and looked lost that were working . Definitely needs some leadership or a strong GM and some consistency bc that location can and has been way better read more

Food is good. Terrible customer service drive thru. No personality very short and in a hurry even though I was the only one in line. She didn't let me review he screen and when I asked to review the order before receiving it she asked me if I didn't get to review in screen when she clear it out as soon as I told her the last item I ordered I wore this review in the drive thru since nobody was there. Wondering why the hurry read more

Can I give 0 stars? The rudest customer service I have ever dealt with at a cabana. I'll never return. Also out of cheese completely! And they tell me all sassy. Needs some good trainikng from management and will not be returning. I didn't even order and was stuck in the line for 10 minutes because they are so slow, only to drive through with no other way out. read more

Had lunch here today. The place was a dirty mess. Every table was dirty, salsa bar was dirty & don't get me started on the bathroom. I will not be going back there. I was shocked! Went in with some people from work at lunch. Store was not busy, took over 15 minutes for each of us to get our food. Food wasn't hot but warm and had small portions. I would have gotten better service at the taco bell next door. Probably won't be going back. read more

Uhm.... I guess we learned our lesson on eating at tex-mex food chains because this was by far the worst visit ever. The food wasn't even mediocre. Now I come from the service industry and have been in said industry for many years and if it's one thing I've learned is 'FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT'. Let's start off by saying that all of the employees looked as if they hated life and not to mention they also weren't the nicest people to visit in public. There was no ice in the fountain drink machine. Not a drop of tea made in the urns at the drink station. Cup lids were completely unstocked. Tables were dirty and chairs look like they just came from a garage sale held in a dumpster behind an abandoned furniture store. The floors are covered in food debris and other miscellaneous trash. After eating what little of my food I could all I wanted to do was throw guacamole on the walls in a tantrum of spite and disappointment. I'd probably get away with it too. The staff was completely inattentive and the skeeziest of skeeze. Never again visiting this establishment. You can take your fajita and shove it up your flauta!!! read more

2 days ago.......I was able to order in a fair amount of time, but when I went to look for a table I wanted to cancel my order. All the tables were dirty with food from the previous patrons, not trays but crumbs. The floor was sticky, and the condiments bar had food dried up on the counter with all spoon handles just as dirty. My coworker went to the restroom and when she came out, threw all of our food away and we left. It wasn't so busy that they couldn't stop to clean. I wanted to ask for a rag to clean tables myself. I'm just shocked that an establishment located in that area was so unkept. I believe in giving people second chances so please don't fire anyone, but instead definitely do retraining and a deep cleaning of the restaurant. read more
