We came here for a quick afternoon bite. Since we are familiar with Taco Bus in downtown Tampa, and love it, we knew we would not be disappointed. It is nice to be able to just order one taco and a drink. I had the spicy chicken taco and added some of the spicy green sauce. It was so juicy and good! I also had a pineapple drink, basically pineapple juice. My husband had a beef taco and a Mexican coke and churros. Hit the spot! Restaurant was clean and staff was good. read more

Ended up going for Taco Tuesday where tacos are only $2. Between all of us we tried a dozen different tacos and queso and salsa with chips. Place was semi- busy when we went in.... Looked like the dinner rush had just passed as every open table was visibly dirty and there was dropped food/ trash under just about every table. We tried both types of pork, spicy chicken, steak and ground beef. Some were on soft corn and some were crunchy corn. We had requested a couple on flour tortillas but they came out in corn anyways. Tacos were decent with a good amount of meat in each one. Salsa and queso were definitely lacking and part of the reason for only 3 stars. The salsa was very bland and had the consistency of ketchup. Wasn't horrible just not to our liking. The queso was also very bland and seemed watery. Overall, would go again for $2 tacos but not full price days. Lost stars for cleanliness and subpar salsa/ queso (I mean a taco place has to have decent salsa!!). read more

We were just wandering looking for pizza and decided to give this place a shot. At first the menu was overwhelming to me and then my husband just decided to order a bit of everything. We started with simple tacos. Chicken, Fish, Shrimp and a Portobello veggie mix and added a Mexican street corn The grouper taco was by far one of the best tacos I have ever eaten. I liked it so much I ordered a second. I don't remember what the little fluffy fried dough triangles of goodness were called but they just made everything so much better. If you are in the area definitely stop in and order the grouper taco you will not regret it. read more

We were staying at the Edge hotel and needed a quick lunch while hanging at the pool. Checked out Yelp, which never really lets me down - and found TACO BUS. When I first saw it on the app I thought it was a local food truck. Turns out it was directly below our hotel. I ordered a shredded chicken taco and also a Portobello mushroom taco. This Place is not not GOOD!!! Food is cheap just like the quality. When I walked in and ordered my food the guy seemed mad and tired and not Happy. The only reason this place gets 2 stars was because it's fast. Waited 5-7 mins for 3 Tacos. They got me and my friends name wrong 2 times when calling it out. Not the biggest problem just confusing. The food had no taste at all and I had to put lime all over it to make it some what ok. When I was waiting for my food I saw a lady in the back picking in her ear and then go back to cooking. I will not go back to this place. read more

They're open late which has always solved s midnight craving. Food is top notch and reasonably priced. I admit I haven't explored their menu that much, I mainly stick to their burritos which I think have the best cash to food ratio. They also have vegetation options including plant based meat if that's your thing too. If I had to critique anything negativity, I'd say they pile in the rice a little too much for my liking, but asking for less rice at the counter hasn't ever been a problem. read more

We parked at sand key and walked the 25 minutes over the bridge for some excercise and fun to the Taco Bus. This place was unbelievable. I don't even know if i have ever written a review on Yelp yet, but this place deserves it. I got the chimichanga with chipotle chicken and my girlfriend got churros. When i say the phrase, "Holy cow," to describe the food, that's underselling it. I hope the workers here are aware of how much better they're making the world, just by cooking this food. I do have one negative thing to say. It's very small, but the plastic knives stink. It didn't break or anything, but the knife-to-chimichanga ratio wasn't the best. This is legit the only bad thing about this place. Well done, Taco Bus. read more

So I know Taco Bus is a trademark Tampa Bay find, and I'm grateful to have been able to experience it during my short stay at Clearwater Beach. The bus is so freakin' cool! Who would've thought incorporating a food truck experience in an air-conditioned building would be a hit? Well, I can definitely say Taco Bus managed to conquer that task and very successfully if I do say so myself. As for the food itself, I didn't actually end up getting tacos to my chagrin. I am a burrito bowl fan myself, what can I say? And it wasn't as great as I would've imagined. The guacamole was the kind that you buy pre-packaged, with a creamier texture (no nice avocado chunks to my dismay). I'll definitely try to come and try out the tacos, I wanna give this place another chance. read more

This is a great oit stop for when you're hibhry in a hurry and don't want to spend a lot of money! Honestly it looks like a cheap commercialized place but the food is very good. The customer service is great too I went in and got the burrito bowl that has a base of Mexican rice with peas and corn, black beans, pico de gallo, grilled chicken (or your meat of choice) and shredded lettuce. I opted out of the cheese but it comes with that too. Served with sour cream and guacamole on the side. If you're used to Chipotle bowls this one measures out to be Better! The only downside is the salsa, served out of a pump dispenser, it tastes like ketchup. Great place for tacos, but go for the burrito bowl, and it's only $9! read more

We kept passing by this place on our way to the beach so we decided to try it. On our first visit, we ordered the twiin grande tacos (one with grilled chicken and one with grouper) and the torta with chicken chipotle. We really enjoyed the food a lot, some much so that we came back and brought a friend for dinner. I can tell that the issue here is it is very dependent on who is cooking. There was a different person each time and the second time definitely was not good at all. We ordered the same thing but added the tostado for my friend. None of it was good this time which really surprised me. All-in-all I strongly believe it's dependent upon who makes it. read more

Even being a local though, I'd certainly visit this restaurant. It sits right on the marina with views all the way around. Unfortunately for us it was raining during our visit, so we weren't able to get a taste of their vast rooftop. Looks like something to be enjoyed though! Here you'll find Mexican-fusion type eats. Which was lucky for me because that's my fave and we went on my birthday! I opted for a spicy marg, which was on happy hour special, and that hit the spot. Love when they do a tahin rim. As for food, my husband and I split the ceviche (holy sh*t was that refreshing and amazing I'd order again 10/10), and some fish tacos (also very good). As for dessert, my one bday request was key lime pie and this place delivered that request! Titled the 'margarita key lime pie,' it's infused with with reposado infused lime. An absolute delight! Our server was so sweet, the vibe was good, and we'd definitely give it an overall thumbs up.

They have a large menu, and although the prices are perhaps a touch higher than at some authentic taquerias, they still seemed pretty reasonable. We ordered chips and salsa along with several different tacos, including al pastor, lengua, steak, chicken, and others. The presentation was excellent. Everything arrived looking clean and thoughtfully arranged, with onions, limes, and the other accompaniments on the side. The ingredients also seemed fresh and of good quality. Unfortunately, the meat in nearly every taco was very dry. The steak, al pastor, lengua and the other meats were chewier and much less flavorful than what I would normally expect from a place like this. I was there with a colleague for lunch, and he had the same experience with his tacos, so it wasn't limited to my order.
