We decided to spice things up and try somewhere new since we usually go to the same Mexican restaurant every week. Don't let the exterior fool you - the inside is very clean and the food holds its own. I ordered the signature Crazy Burrito exactly as it comes. The flavors tasted authentic and everything was well prepared. The only thing that didn't feel authentic was the price. The burrito was HUGE...easily enough for two meals for me....but at almost $18 it's definitely on the higher side, so just be aware. The restaurant has a mix of booths, tables, and bar seating, and it looks like it could easily accommodate larger parties. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was very good. However, at this price point we'll probably stick with our usual Mexican spot for our weekly fix. read more

The taco salads I didn't try but they loved the portion size, the quality and the amount of chicken. If they could change anything it would be crisper lettuce. When they say potato's they mean French fries which isn't necessarily bad but was unexpected. I ordered a burrito and horchata. The horchata was delicious but the burrito was extremely disappointing. I asked for cilantro and onion in the burrito and it wasn't added - so it was just rice,beans, steak and cheese. The steak was badly seasoned. The meat wasn't fresh and the seasonings they used didn't go well together. Pretty good! When we went, they had a burrito special going on -- Thursday any burrito for $9.99. I had the Birria burrito and my husband had the wet burrito. Really liked the wet burrito. It was covered in sauces that look like the Mexican flag. The filling of the Birria was great, but the tortilla flavor was a little odd to me. Next time I might try their regular veggie burrito. The tacos were very good but We waited a long time to get waited on and to order our meal. The server was the only one and it was busy but not too busy at this point. It got busier. The tacos were very good but you have to have time to get waited on and to get your meal. No chips or salsa comes with the meal. A 12 oz Pacifica was $4.50 which is pricey. I don't think I could find a better burrito in Pinellas. The food was delicious. The burritos were huge and my wife was happy which was the most important part of it all. We were seated immediately and quickly brought a small bowl of chips and salsa. We ordered queso blanco (white cheese melted) which came with a bigger bowl of tortilla chips. Chips were ok, not spectacular but queso was outstanding, with a little bit of heat. We ordered the specialty Crazy Burrito, split in half and on separate plates. This came with their three sauces: Mild, Spicy and Hot. I read in reviews that the Spicy was hot and it did not disappoint. Most places their spicy sauces are mildly hot, not this one! I love the heat so it was perfect for me, but my wife went with the mild, spicy was too much for her. Bombs Away!! What an explosion of flavors! I think they should call this the "Kitchen Sink" burrito. It has sooo many elements that merge together wonderfully. My wife elected to eat the burrito with a fork but I wanted to hoz Full Commando, with a fistful. A bit awkward and the juices anointed my hand and arm but all good. The Birria beef taco was so dry + consommé wasn't warm/hot. The fish in the fish taco tasted like tilapia (not a fan), even the "crazy sauce" couldn't mask the flavor. I'm irrationally upset with this place. I live right up the street and came in to a completely dead restaurant, not a single customer in there and a cook and counter worker doing nothing. I waited 32 minutes for 4 cold tacos and chips while they cranked out online orders that came in after I placed my order, paid $38 and tipped for this. Idc about the up-charges I just want to receive what I ordered. They Charged $1 per taco for sour cream. Wasn't on the order. They charged a fee for flour tortillas, my tacos were corn tortillas. Menu says our "Borracho" burritos included tortilla chips, what was a major selling point and not ordering add on tacos , our order did not include the chips even though I specifically asked twice on the phone if they did... Sauce guide: light green is mild, dark green is medium, red is hot. Burrito was large, stuffed full. Tasted great. Came from Arizona and was hoping for a taste of home when I came in. This definitely delivered. The cashier was very kind and helped my grandma to make sure she got something okay for her diet. She helped me pick the best tacos and gave me a side of guacamole too. The restaurant itself is a simple place with simple decor, but don't let it deter you from trying their delicious food. We went in knowing we'd get the Crazy Burrito off the menu and then we decided in a last minute rush that we also wanted to try the lengua (beef tongue) taco and the birria taco. The burritos were average, I'd love if it had more texture, like lettuce for crunch. Between the broken soft rice, sour cream, and guacamole - the texture was very one-note.
