We decided to spice things up and try somewhere new since we usually go to the same Mexican restaurant every week. Don't let the exterior fool you - the inside is very clean and the food holds its own. I ordered the signature Crazy Burrito exactly as it comes. The flavors tasted authentic and everything was well prepared. The only thing that didn't feel authentic was the price. The burrito was HUGE...easily enough for two meals for me....but at almost $18 it's definitely on the higher side, so just be aware. The restaurant has a mix of booths, tables, and bar seating, and it looks like it could easily accommodate larger parties. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was very good. However, at this price point we'll probably stick with our usual Mexican spot for our weekly fix. read more

It was pleasantly surprised with the birria tacos. Probably the best ones I've had in Pinellas County yet. A good amount of cheese and a crispy shell. The dipping sauce was delicious. They were doing a bang up business with to go orders while I was there. It's obviously a very popular place. I will be back. read more

This place was SO good! It was my first time visiting, and I was seriously impressed. I loved everything I tried. The horchata was delicious, the corn on the cob was amazing, and the birria tacos were some of the best I've had. The burger was also surprisingly incredible. Great food, great service, and definitely worth stopping by. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Florida! read more

Great flavor exceptional value. The burritos and shrimp tacos are top favorites. Salsa is fresh and authentic.

* Good parking * huge portions * small business Drinks limited - flavored margaritas are huge and a heavy pour which is much appreciated. The taco salads I didn't try but they loved the portion size, the quality and the amount of chicken. If they could change anything it would be crisper lettuce. The lettuce was finely cut and everyone agreed a thicker cut lettuce would've been a nice fresh crunch. My burrito was good. When they say potato's they mean French fries which isn't necessarily bad but was unexpected. The steak tasted like sirloin tips and overall the burrito was a little salty which I usually love but have been trying to watch my salt intake. I would come back. read more

Pretty good! When we went, they had a burrito special going on -- Thursday any burrito for $9.99. I had the Birria burrito and my husband had the wet burrito. Really liked the wet burrito. It was covered in sauces that look like the Mexican flag. The filling of the Birria was great, but the tortilla flavor was a little odd to me. Next time I might try their regular veggie burrito. They have tons of options! This may be a regular spot for us on Thursdays. read more

The tacos were very good but We waited a long time to get waited on and to order our meal. The server was the only one and it was busy but not too busy at this point. It got busier. The tacos were very good but you have to have time to get waited on and to get your meal. No chips or salsa comes with the meal. A 12 oz Pacifica was $4.50 which is pricey. The dining area was plain with no atmosphere. Dirty tables all around but the server was working alone and did a good job. I don't want to go back because of atmosphere reasons read more

I ordered a burrito and horchata. The horchata was delicious but the burrito was extremely disappointing. I asked for cilantro and onion in the burrito and it wasn't added - so it was just rice, beans, steak and cheese. The steak was badly seasoned. The meat wasn't fresh and the seasonings they used didn't go well together. I paid $20 and it seemed very overpriced for the quality and caliber of the burrito. 2 stars because the horchata has been one of the best I've had in Florida. read more

So many options for a good burrito these days and this is definitely a stand out. The Cali is legit, not these I've had, but it's up there. I really like their sauces. Good service and clean place read more

An eclectic, hip family restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food. Food and service was fantastic! Try the Verde enchiladas!

Would post pictures of burrito but i couldnt put it down.. so its in my belly now.. just take my word for it. GO HERE!! read more

The burrito was very, very doughy, tough and tasteless. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Everything!!! read more

I don't think I could find a better burrito in Pinellas. The food was delicious. The burritos were huge and my wife was happy which was the most important part of it all. We ordered through the app so I can't say much for service, but it was very fast and I don't know about the ambience, but a place making burritos sounds like it would be pretty busy. Especially when their burritos this good. read more

Man the U boats, submarine spotted!! Reviews said the specialty burrito was large, but you could do arm curls with it! My wife and I visited about 7 PM on a Wednesday evening. We were seated immediately and quickly brought a small bowl of chips and salsa. We ordered queso blanco (white cheese melted) which came with a bigger bowl of tortilla chips. Chips were ok, not spectacular but queso was outstanding, with a little bit of heat. We ordered the specialty Crazy Burrito, split in half and on separate plates. This came with their three sauces: Mild, Spicy and Hot. I read in reviews that the Spicy was hot and it did not disappoint. Most places their spicy sauces are mildly hot, not this one! I love the heat so it was perfect for me, but my wife went with the mild, spicy was too much for her. Bombs Away!! What an explosion of flavors! I think they should call this the "Kitchen Sink" burrito. It has sooo many elements that merge together wonderfully. My wife elected to eat the burrito with a fork but I wanted to hoz Full Commando, with a fistful. A bit awkward and the juices anointed my hand and arm but all good. Oh and sweet tea was good too but I noticed it came from a Lipton machine. read more

I'm crazy for Crazy Burrito! The place almost qualifies for a hole in the wall. Our meal was pure delight. Started with chips and really good sauce. Then came the tacos. They were fantastic! A cold Corona with lime topped it off. Super friendly service. Had some perfect guacamole. I highly recommend this Mexican place. 1 hint: Don't sit near the window in the afternoon. It's hot. Caliente not picante. read more

We tried Crazy Burrito today, due to the overall good ratings. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. Here is the collective review : The Guacamole had too much lime; sent it back. The Birria beef taco was so dry + consommé wasn't warm/hot. The fish in the fish taco tasted like tilapia (not a fan), even the "crazy sauce" couldn't mask the flavor. The chicken taco was the best thing had. Shrimp quesadilla was okay. Our server was friendly + didn't have an issue with us sending back the guacamole. read more

Maybe eat in to get the whole vibe thing mentioned in the other reviews, that might really impact the taste... idk. I don't think it's was great take out food as the steak tasted like fish, so they probably just need to clean the grill. I bet if I was in there I wouldn't have noticed because of the authentic smells. There was a nice cashier. She was sweet. Menu says our "Borracho" burritos included tortilla chips, what was a major selling point and not ordering add on tacos , our order did not include the chips even though I specifically asked twice on the phone if they did... Overall (a slightly generous) three out of five stars... 2.5 rounds up after all. If they cleaned the grill and served tortilla chips con el borracho burrito ; (as their menu states) it's an easy 4/5. read more

We came not once but twice in a week...it's a great authentic Mexican restaurant. And the burritos are crazy good, and HUGE! The teenage daughter loves it and she is the pickiest in the family! We highly recommend! It's quick, great tasting and quaint! No frills but well-worth the visit! We had the Flautas, Nacho Burrito, and a Baby Burrito...a couple of beers and a coke for the teenager! Sorry no pictures...we were starving and began eating before I could get a picture! We will be back! read more

I'm irrationally upset with this place. I live right up the street and came in to a completely dead restaurant, not a single customer in there and a cook and counter worker doing nothing. I waited 32 minutes for 4 cold tacos and chips while they cranked out online orders that came in after I placed my order, paid $38 and tipped for this. Idc about the up-charges I just want to receive what I ordered. They Charged $1 per taco for sour cream. Wasn't on the order. They charged a fee for flour tortillas, my tacos were corn tortillas. I'm so done with pre tipping for garbage service and bad food. read more

Had the signature burrito and the birria tacos everything was fantastic from the service to the salsas!

Warm friendly staff thats seems glad that you stopped by and huge burritos make this somewhere worth checking out.Try the burria beef,it's heavenly. It comes with a side of flavorful dipping juice. I was shocked when I found out I wouldn't have to trek to the Tampa location to try the Crazy Burrito! Four niles from my front door, I finally got my crazy on! Obviously, the main attraction is the burrito with a variety to choose from. Taco choices are the same. the true star is the wonderful Birria Taxo! I love my street Tacos! I crave the Birria! Dipping that stew meat in it's own "au jus" is the bomb! I've also enjoyed the tasty Quesadilla variation.as well. The menue includes Steak Asada, Tongue, and Barbacoa main dishes, salads, a specialty bowl tostadas, and so much more! No question, Crazy Burrito sticks to tradition in their food and that's what I want! read more

3 stars for the food, 2 stars for the price. My burrito bowl was $12 after tax and was just a soggy mess by the time it made it home. The chicken tasted like the precooked bags of chicken you get at Walmart. I hate to give such a bad review but I'd steer clear of this place, especially with so many other good Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

I love their shrimp burritos. Their regular burritos are good too and huge and stuffed with goodness

Clean interior, prompt service. Portions are very generous, expect to leave full! The hot sauce (red) is actually HOT so use caution. Sauce guide: light green is mild, dark green is medium, red is hot. Burrito was large, stuffed full. Tasted great. Definitely will be back to try the different burrito options because they're extensive. The steak plate I got today was presented very nicely. I suppose the only thing I wish it had would be some greens, maybe some guacamole too. Visually the food is very appealing, just check the pictures that I attached to this review. Great burritos and friendly service. I will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

This place gets 5 stars from me and here's why. Strikes you a small, dive-ish, eating spot. But two things: the service and the food. Friendliest people work here who want you to have the best experience throughout your whole visit, and you can feel it. The burritos are off the wall here, bonus points for making a traditional California burrito, which are exclusive to San Diego.. haven't had one since living there. Next visit to Tampa, have to go again, no question! read more

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some burritos and came across this spot on Yelp. We went in knowing we'd get the Crazy Burrito off the menu and then we decided in a last minute rush that we also wanted to try the lengua (beef tongue) taco and the birria taco. The burritos were average, I'd love if it had more texture, like lettuce for crunch. Between the broken soft rice, sour cream, and guacamole - the texture was very one-note. I enjoyed the lengua taco and wish I ordered more of those instead. The salsas they provided on the side (one red, two green) were really good. Careful with the red salsa, it packs some heat! read more

First time going since I've seen reviews that it was good. My experience was okay. We ordered the chips and queso. Small amount of queso for what you're paying. The steak burrito was good nothing wrong with it. By the birria tacos were so bland. Also when you took a bite, you would pull out meat with it, the meat was chewy. No crunch to the taco whatsoever. Save yourself the trip if you're looking to try birria tacos. Service was nice though. And the horchata was good. read more

Came from Arizona and was hoping for a taste of home when I came in. This definitely delivered. The cashier was very kind and helped my grandma to make sure she got something okay for her diet. She helped me pick the best tacos and gave me a side of guacamole too. The restaurant itself is a simple place with simple decor, but don't let it deter you from trying their delicious food. The birria tacos were phenomenal, the tostada was crunchy, and even the salsa tasted yummy and fresh. 5/5 for sure! read more
