    Birria Tacos.

Cool spot. Great tacos. Amazing owner! Had the chance to grab a a few tacos and margaritas at this place. Came once late night, and went back to try other items. The owner chatted either us, and you could tell a lot of love goes into that they do there. I enjoyed ordering tacos al la carte- had the shrimp pastor, pork carnitas, and pork pastor. Late night i got the birria.

So as far as advertising Tacos, Tequila and Rum is everything as advertised. The food is good. The service is great. The portions are quite good. And... the Tequila and Rum are quite good. This is a touristy area, but from what I could tell, there were a good amount of locals and regulars. Which tells me, this spot is worth a visit if you are in Clearwater FL. I had a great meal here. Some quite awesome drinks and great service. Simply good!

The tacos here are amazing! So authentic! Taco Tuesday is only $2 each and then Birria tacos are only $5 each on Wednesdays! Great prices, great food, definitely recommend.

Well, this could have been a great experience. Visiting from out of town decided to grab tacos before hitting the beach. When i took this picture initially i was just documenting my order. Upon taking the first bite i noticed a splatter of blood in the top left corner of the plate. I told the server & she explained that the cook had cut herself doing something. I understand things happen but for me to still be charged for this, is insane. She gave me a free bottle of water for the inconvenience, thats just unacceptable. This could have easily been a trip to the hospital! Definitely dont recommend seeing as two people saw this plate & still brought it out to me thinking it was okay.

Loud! Loud music even when we realized we could not sit inside and opted to sit out front. Very very loud. We sat on little metal chairs in the front of the restaurant and enjoyed watching people. The FOOD WAS FABULOUS! The Corona was ice cold. We ordered beef fajitas which came with rice, beans, three lovely corn tortillas, and a side of salad, big enough for two people to share.. Service was great and we were definitely come back here again if we could sit outside .

I love this place! Definitely a go to! Food 1000/10, drinks 10/10 definitely recommend one of their many different margs. Service 10/10, everyone i have met there is amazing! Puma and Miguel are wonderful and make a great team, the cooks in the back do a great job and are speedy! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and is decorated very vibrant and pretty!

Amazing spicy cocktails by Daliah :)

Daliah was an amazing bartender and server. Very personable and kind. Made some great recommendations and made an even better spicy margarita! :)

I was visiting Clearwater with friends and found this place on Yelp. We went on a Friday before Labor Day and was expecting it to be packed. Thankfully we were early enough that we missed the dinner crowd and were able to sit right away. I ordered a taco salad with shrimp and it was great. Cheap drinks too! A group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks.

one of the top Mexican restaurants praised for its attentive and welcoming owner, along with consistently good food, is Taco Tequila & Rum. This lively spot is known for using quality ingredients and providing a great atmosphere, garnering excellent reviews for its flavorful dishes, generous portions, reasonable pricing, and authentic experience. We started with 3 orders of grilled oysters, 3 for $5 is still a great deal. The cajun seasoning and cheese on top made them incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. They were so good we basically decided to order a second batch the moment we finished the first. We also got the fried Brussels sprouts and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was delicious with the sweet and sour sauce, and the brussel sprouts were just pure yum. We were so into the appetizers that we almost skipped entrees, but decided to share a shrimp po'boy. The shrimp was perfectly crispy, exactly what we were looking for. Overall, great location, great food, friendly staff, fast service, and happy hour makes it all that much better. Will happily return and recommend!

Salty's Review…read more Stopped in for lunch shortly after arriving in Clearwater since we were hungry and it was conveniently located right across the street from the Opal Sands Resort. When we arrived, the hostess initially tried to seat us in direct sunlight even though there were several shaded tables available. I asked if we could sit in the shade instead, and she happily accommodated us. Our waitress appeared to be the only server working, yet she did an excellent job keeping up with all of her tables. She was attentive, friendly, and provided great service throughout our meal. We started with the coconut shrimp, which were perfectly crispy and delicious. The only odd thing was that they were served on a bed of rice, which didn't really make sense with the dish. We also ordered the grouper po' boy, and it was huge with well-seasoned, flavorful fish. The crab cakes, however, were a disappointment. They were heavily seasoned with Old Bay to the point that it overpowered the crab. I actually had to scrape off the top layer of seasoning just to enjoy them. For drinks, I ordered an IPA, and we also tried the Strawberry Smash that our waitress recommended. Unfortunately, the cocktail was the weakest part of the meal. It tasted more like club soda with muddled strawberries and mint than an actual mixed drink, and it was surprisingly difficult to drink through the straw. Overall, Salty's is a solid spot if you're looking for a casual meal that's convenient and satisfying. The service was excellent, and a couple of the food items really stood out, but nothing we ordered was memorable enough that I'd go out of my way to come back. I'd recommend it for a quick bite, just don't expect to be blown away.

What makes this place unique? They offered Caymus Cabernet BY THE GLASS, which I have not found before, and I frequent higher end restaurants often. It was fun to have a high-end glass of wine without spending hundreds on a bottle. It's also nice if you want to try other drinks. The espresso martini (get it with Baileys added for a smoother taste!) is huge and delicious. Brussel sprouts appetizer and feta whip appetizer were both tasty and ample for two people. The spicy fish tacos are Mahi Mahi and a MUST if you like Mahi. I will only eat Mahi if close to the ocean, and it was great. No fishy taste, nice and tender. The brownie dessert that was off-menu was perfect for a sweet bite. So many nice restaurants get too crazy with their specialty desserts, and sometimes you just want a simple yet decadent treat like a brownie! Make a reservation on their website and relax. It's an easy Uber ride if staying locally as well.

Preston was so fantastic, immediately welcoming me, offering a beverage, and asking if I wanted some food. My absolute favorite thing about Drift is that they serve Caymus by the glass! I ordered a glass right away, followed by the mushroom flatbread (to which I added pepperoni--delicious!). I was able to enjoy my wine and a fresh slice of flatbread, and took the rest home, all before they closed. I was so thankful and impressed with the wonderful customer service and for accommodating me as their very last customer.
