I haven't been to Taco Bravo for a while. I got 2 tostadas and 1 bean & cheese burrito. The tostadas tastes good and the burrito size is really big, saved it for another meal. Though what could be improved is they could warm up the burrito more so the cheese is at least melted, it's not warmed up enough and it was sloppy put together. Flavors still the same, taste and the hot sauces are still good. Taco Bravo in Campbell has truly survived the test of time. I have been eating here for about 30 years and through the pandemic, recessions and countless businesses coming and going they are still standing. I remember coming here in the late 90s when it was the go-to spot for cheap eats, late-night munchies or food after a party or club. It was not always easy on the stomach but it had a distinct taste that became a staple among the homies. Back then a couple tacos, a bean burrito and a soda could run you five or six bucks. Dollar tacos were the vibe. Fast forward to 2026 and like most fast-food spots after the pandemic prices have gone up. Tacos are around $3.79, bean burritos closer to seven dollars and a full meal with a drink can land around $14. Not the steal it once was but still reasonable by today's standards. What has also changed is the crowd. Back then it was mostly college kids and a younger scene. Now it is an older crowd that appreciates places like this because so many others have disappeared. Even the parking lot tells the story with EVs sports cars and exotics mixed in where beaters once parked. No matter how people feel about the food Taco Bravo deserves recognition. It is still here still serving and still part of the local fabric. I left a negative review years ago but time and perspective matter. For longevity alone this place has earned a better rating from me. read more

I go there all the way from Hayward just to get their chili burgers. They are really good except for today. It was one sloppy mess. It was as if they poured a cup of sauce over the meat, then threw the bun on top. I couldn't even lift it to eat it because the whole thing fell apart in my hand. I should have asked for another one, but I'm always afraid restaurants will spit in my food if I return an item to the kitchen. Ordered here from U.E. for lunch one day at work and got the super taco, chips and nacho cheese. Holy smokes!!! It's a perfect size just as is, fully stuffed and so basic yet soooooo good! The chips and nacho cheese and hot sauce are so good too! The taco reminds me of a nice delicious light taco you'd get at the neighborhood taco night! So good and not heavy feeling. What lured my partner and I to Taco Bravo was the huge banner showing the $1.29 deals. We came on a Tuesday thinking it was taco Tuesday, but it was actually Tostada Tuesday haha. Service is nice, the worker in the back gave us a sample of the pork to share before ordering. We ended up getting four tostadas- beef, chicken, and pork. Located off Bascom rd, there's a small parking lot that they share with weinerschnitzel. The building screams 1970s, like the old school taco bell joints. The menu isn't too extensive but the staples hit the spot. I've ordered the beef burrito, chicken tacos, Chile Verde burrito and they all pass the test. Kinda low quality junk food in the ranks of taco bell and del taco with an old school longevity style to it like nations? Despite what that sounded like, the food is shamefully good! Del taco and taco bravo rank pretty high in my book and that's no lie. Price wise, you might have to order more than one item to get full which can add up but it isn't too far off from anywhere else. Don't forget to get your self serve out of a pump container hot sauce, it magnifies the good notes. I recommend everybody try this place at least once.
