Taco Bravo in Campbell has truly survived the test of time. I have been eating here for about 30 years and through the pandemic, recessions and countless businesses coming and going they are still standing. I remember coming here in the late 90s when it was the go-to spot for cheap eats, late-night munchies or food after a party or club. It was not always easy on the stomach but it had a distinct taste that became a staple among the homies. Back then a couple tacos, a bean burrito and a soda could run you five or six bucks. Dollar tacos were the vibe. Fast forward to 2026 and like most fast-food spots after the pandemic prices have gone up. Tacos are around $3.79, bean burritos closer to seven dollars and a full meal with a drink can land around $14. Not the steal it once was but still reasonable by today's standards. What has also changed is the crowd. Back then it was mostly college kids and a younger scene. Now it is an older crowd that appreciates places like this because so many others have disappeared. Even the parking lot tells the story with EVs sports cars and exotics mixed in where beaters once parked. No matter how people feel about the food Taco Bravo deserves recognition. It is still here still serving and still part of the local fabric. I left a negative review years ago but time and perspective matter. For longevity alone this place has earned a better rating from me.

Cannot beat their $1.99 Taco Thursday deal! Fast friendly service and fresh tacos loaded with lots of meat and shredded cheese. Be sure to eat them fresh or at least open the bag and wraps so they don't get soggy on the way home. They also have $1.99 Tostada Tuesday but they're a bit unwieldy and messy to me. Cash discount!

Mini Nachos | $12.99 - serving nachos with cold unmelted cheese is diabolical

OOF. I know Taco Bravo is a Campbell institution... For the drunchies. The way La Vic's is in DTSJ. A place where you visit when you've lost your dignity and standards several drinks ago. I was expecting Taco Bell caliber food without the hershey squirts and Taco Bravo couldn't even deliver that. Maybe I wasn't buzzed enough because I could still read the menu...$8.79 for one bravo taco?! So, nachos it is! But, what monster eats nachos with cold unmelted cheese (no nacho cheese underneath)?! Do they expect peeps to have a blowtorch in their bag?! And, not like it was cheap either. I know it's shrinkflation times but $12.99 for "fast food" nachos containing 90% chips and unmelted cold cheese with little ground beef and refried beans is ridic.

It's been years since I've visited and I don't think much has changed except the prices. Still relatively cheap, though. Portions are huge. The mini nachos are way more than enough for one person. Super taco still hits, but maybe not as much as when you've had a few too many drinks.

It's a better version of Taco Bell. The lady at the front is super sweet. Churros, burrito (beef) and quesadilla (shredded chicken) were good. Decent for the price can't complain.

Grew up going to this place and it hasn't changed . Their cheese is so fresh it takes everything on the menu and makes it better . If you want something good and fast this place is better than fast food restaurants.

I havent been here for a while, ever since they got new registers. I used to order on EAT24/Grubhub at least 1-2 times a week with taco thurs being one of those days. I find I canI no longer order from yelp or Eat24. Is it coming back?

NOT SURE ABOUT THAT. I JUST DRIVE THROUGH

Any idea if the beans have lard in them? Meaning is the bean burrito really vegetarian?

You happened to catch me on the way, so I asked. And thank you, I'm going back to Veg next week. No, they don't. Just beans, oil and salt.

Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

The service is not the best and you have to try hard to catch the servers attention. The food was better this time, but not as good as many other Mexican restaurants. It is not what I consider authentic Mexican food.

It was relatively empty, with only one other party seated at the time. Service was friendly and quick, and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. It's got a quaint hole in the wall kind of vibe, but was still clean - though not very air conditioned. We missed it, but there was a salsa bar in the corner near the entrance. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. When we ordered, they asked us if we would want more tortillas since it comes with only 3 - we didn't even finish the 3 it came with. The sauce was tasty, tomatoey and spicy, and it was chock full of mussels, squid, sooo many shrimp, a whole filet of fried fish, and other goodies - unfortunately most of the seafood was pretty dry/overcooked. It came out to about $60 for the two of us. Overall, the mocajete was fun to try, but I think next time I'd try some tacos or a burrito if I were to come back.

When I tried the food last year, I ordered the Blackened Salmon but asked to have the coleslaw taken out since I don't like it. While I enjoyed my meal, I wasn't full and figured spending $20 wasn't worth if I wasn't going to get a full meal. What made me come back to Aquis is eating with the same friend who hyped up the place. She told me I could actually get different veggies and try it with the herb sauce. When I did this, it was a game changer!! It was nice that I could enjoy a full meal and the herb sauce is a must every time I dine. It is a creamy, fresh sauce that can be paired with anything. It tasted great with the salmon too. You may be thinking, why not order a different dish if I don't like coleslaw? The thing is, the other dishes here are more of mexican cuisine, and I rather go to an authentic joint. Also, they cook seafood very well! The Blackened Salmon was so good, I actually ate it twice in a row. Funny enough, the worker recognized me from the day before. Aquis is definitely a spot to check out, and they are busy on the weekends!
