Wow! Having travelled all over the world, including 5 or 6 trips to Mexico, this is some of the freshest Mexican food we have ever had. The owner is really nice, fast service, and out-of-this-world tacos. We had the ground beef tacos both flour and corn tortillas as well as the ground beef burritos. The ingredients were super fresh and portion size is very reasonable for the price. A must stop if in the area (or anywhere within 100 miles). We will return. read more

I was blown away by the taco here. The best taco known to the human race. It was hot and fresh. It had the best Tex-Mex mix in the Gringo Taco. And the best feature was the topping! This master chef tops with the usual fresh, moist lettuce and tomato; he squirts the sour cream evenly across the top. All this is a step above other places that just throw a glop on top. Now this next thing may be only in my imagination, like a dream. I know what it tasted like, and kept rechecking my experience as I finished the taco. I could easily pick up a sprinkle of salt across the top. This was great. The thing that blew me away was the other flavor on top of the lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream -- there was a slight taste of fresh lime. It seems to me that he sprinkled a mix of salt and lime across the top - cold and fresh. I was in heaven! This was true genius. ---- So, why one star? Of course I had to go back, and that was a mistake. I went back twice to just make sure this was reality, and not a dream. My next stop was at noon, exactly at noon. I tried to call from 11:55 to noon, and I could not get through. Everyone orders at lunchtime and dinner time - and you have to order ahead, as you will see. I drove to the place and stood at the door. No customers allowed inside, as we are dealing with Covid in New Hampshire. I understand. The server who takes the order is 30 feet away at the counter, and I have to call in my order by phone from the front door. I understand. I wait outside for 20 minutes, and she delivers my taco. I understand, they are busy. The taco is fine, but I do not taste the lime on top. Maybe that was a dream... I am still a believer, and I believe in this master chef, a genius in my book. So we have a friend over for dinner, and we are going to introduce her to the Taco beyond other tacos, the one at Beyondo. I play the quick-redail game to break into the order stream at 5 PM. I drive ten minutes to the store. I wait until 5:50. When I get home the food is stone cold, at this temperature it is not tasty, and I am missing the Gringo taco I ordered. I had tipped the girl when she brought the food out, probably a half hour after it was cooked. Why was I waiting 50 minutes? Because she forgot it was ready? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There was one good thing that came out of this. I now keep a bottle of salted lime juice in the fridge, and it goes on lettuce every time - a virgin margarita splashed on top. Awesome! And thank you, sir - the guy at Beyondo. Your food is great, but I am not going to eat cold, cold food. See if you can set up online ordering, with prepayment. It will give your server the ability to focus on prompt food delivery and customer experience. Your customers will love you even more, your business will grow, and she will make better tips. No one wanted to cook last night & we (sis, her hubbie & I) decided on something different & chose here. I got the Burrito that has the pulled pork (? the actual name) & I was pleasantly surprised. Staff here was fantastic! When you pull up it looks like a hole in the wall place but is absolutely delicious!!! Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I have celiacs disease and can't have gluten. They were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. They knew the danger of putting gluten free foods into the fryer with the flor tortillas as well. I am very sensitive and did not get sick. My grandmother ate here with us and had never had Mexican food before. The staff was so patient and explained everything to her and the flavor profiles. they even gave her a sample of the pork she was debating to see if she liked it! So selfishly I've been keeping this place a secret. Taco Beyondo by far is the best and freshest food within a 30 mile radius of Hillsborough, NH. Tacos... the best, burritos ... Awesome, quesadillas... stacked and delicious... Always and I mean ALWAYS get whatever Special they have, I have tried some thing that were absolutely insanely delectable that I never would have tried. I.e. Duck Confit tacos. Shrimp, watermelon & arrugala salad ( so refreshing and clean). Besides the food the owners/chef are friendly and welcoming. Been coming here for two years now and have always had a great meal. You would not expect the culinary artistry coming out of this place based on location and storefront, but I would drive through the woods and over mountains to get to them. Totally unexpected deliciousness. I'm not a good litmus test for authentic mexican FYI. I literally ordered two "gringo" tacos that were made with seasoned ground beef. I inhaled them. Dont forget the "red sauce" which is a mildly spicy thick taco sauce. They were phenomenal and paired well with a 20oz Mello Yello. It is a small place almost hidden in a strip of stores. Menu is pretty basic with all the favorites like Tacos, burritos and of course quesadillas with all the fixings. Place was pretty clean just very small. As for the food they were having a special 2 tacos for $5.00 so my wife and I bought 6, fish, pork,beef, chicken, and portobello mushroom. The chicken taco was the best by far for me but all tacos were really fresh and made right in front of you by the chef/owner. I really enjoy all the tacos and will be back soon. read more

Having just moved to Hillsboro a couple weeks ago, I was anxious to get out and explore the local food offerings. This little place in a tiny plaza pinged on my empty stomach radar one day and I decided to check it out. First off, the name. Taco Beyondo. It's already letting you know that it's a laid back, friendly, come as you are type place. I like that. The decor is typical Mexican cafe style, it is a small place, so you'd better be ok with sitting next to others as if you walked in with them to begin with. It's wicked hot in there, there was no noticeable AC action, but that's not always a deal breaker. The ordering is easy, (at the counter)the menu isn't overwhelming, (it's up front and over your head) and they've got Margaritas! (De-frickin-licious!) Everything is made right in front of you, and brought to your table or booth. Ok, the food. My oh my...my 1st order there was the seared lime fish taco. (Incredible.) Fresh, beautiful, and so dang tasty. The chipotle crema is perfect, and the red sauce is a MUST. Later in the week, I had the fish burrito (to die for), and the chicken quesadilla (oh honey is it good!) This place has very reasonable pricing, great customer service, and a loyal customer base, I see a lot of the same people everytime I'm in there. It's the treasure of this area. read more

Outstanding customer service. Fresh ingredients. I had fish tacos, my husband had barbacoa, and we also had chips and guacamole. EVERYTHING was outstanding. It's in a small strip mall in Hillsboro, which is out of the way for us, but this place makes it worth the trip. Also a great place to stop after a tap house stop at Henniker Brewing. My faith in my fellow Yelpers has been shaken. We stopped at this joint specifically because of the glowing recommendations and were sorely disappointed. Makes me think NH residents don't know what good Mexican food really is. Between us, we ordered asada tacos, asada burrito, gringo (ground beef) taco, a side of beans/rice and cheese quesadillas. Everything was lacking in flavor. The 'salsa' tasted like tomato sauce from a can with a little hot sauce mixed in. The rice tasted like minute rice. Food is served in small containers (like what you would see a hot dog served in) so if your food falls, you better have good aim. The one positive aspect was one of the employees - the woman taking our order was super friendly and helpful. read more

Just wanted to update on tacos beyondo, I have really loved this place since it opened. I have been traveling quite a bit and have not been there until just this past weekend. The food is still as consistent and delicious as day one. They have also added a number of items to the menu including chimichangas. I feel that it is important to congratulate a restaurant when they can continue to meet and exceed the opening day quality and excitement after being around for a while. Okay. Sorry Yelpers but I can't get on board with this one. While the portion sizes where [amount of what counts in the taco] fine, & the doubled up tortilla was nicely authentic, that's where it ends. Cilantro! I have yet to eat a Mexican inspired meal (anyplace) that didn't use Cilantro as a ingredient. Pico w/no Cilantro. That's called chopped tomatoes & onions, not Pico de Gallo. Hanging a couple of sombreros on the walls, plastering Santeria skulls everywhere, and serving tortillas. Doesn't make it authentic Mexican. Where in Mexico do you get sour cream on a taco? I'll tell where, Margarita's which is about as authentic. Swing and a miss here. read more
