Awesome gem conveniently located in a small town but along route 89. Great options across the board: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and affordable sides. This hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant in Hillsborough is worth the stop. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff. We ordered at the counter. My husband ordered Carnitas Burrito and I had the Chicken Tacos. I was given a choice of what time of tortilla and I went with the corn. Our food came out quickly and was very fresh. I had gone to Taco Beyondo a couple of years ago, and neglected to leave a review. Two days ago we were running an errand in Henniker, and I decided to take my wife there for dinner. The food was just as I'd remembered it - good ingredients, prepared to order, by very nice staff! We both had the soft tacos - my wife had the seared lime marinated fish tacos, and I had the pollo verde ones. We each had two - when we got them home they were so good we wished we had gotten three! The ingredients were fresh - fresh cilantro, perfectly spiced chicken and fish, and friendly service! It's worth a trip to Hillsborough, even go out of your way, to try Taco Beyondo. GET THE RED SAUCE! Sadly I have never been to the actual restaurant in Hillsboro. Today I was lucky enough to catch their food truck in Weare which is much closer to me. I have always wanted to try their food, and judging by the way the line started forming before they were even ready, people love their tacos. I ordered three of their crispy tacos: gringo ground beef, chicken verde, and carnitas. They were LOADED with lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, and their house chipotle crema (or sour cream). They were all absolutely fantastic, but I think I liked the ground beef the best. Great flavor. I had happy notes of chipotle and cilantro hanging around for a long time after my lunch. Husband got the grilled asada steak burrito and also loved it. The red sauce they offer is FANTASTIC. Don't pass it up! Can't wait to visit the restaurant if I'm ever in the area. Wicked Awesome Mexican Food. My family stopped in to this tiny place tucked away next to a laundry mat - and it was really busy. Taco Tuesday proclaimed the excellent staff but I'd eat here any day of the week! The menu had the typical tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and sides but the star for me was their chili - not spicy and full of meat with some beans, perfect. My tacos were pretty amazing too! Generous portions too--who knew this gem was hiding in plain site. Beat any of the big mex places in Concord, Manchester or even Nashua - we will come back and bring friends. A+++ read more

I have heard others rave about this place and decided to meet up with a friend for lunch at Taco Beyondo. I remember back in 2015 I had went and remembered this place having great food. In lieu of all the accolades I saw on the wall inside the restaurant, I was really displeased with my three tacos I ordered today and I was surprised how bad the food was. I got 3 tacos today. Carne Asada, White Fish, and pork. The first thing I noticed was how quick the food came out from behind the counter. No meat was made fresh to order at all. The beef was tough had an odd texture. The fish was minced up, and had an odd taste, the pork tasted off as well. Nothing was seasoned well either. The guacamole was flavorless too. I don't leave reviews typically, however, my concern is someone is going to get sick from how they prep their food. I myself am not feeling well since I at at noon today 12/27/2024. This place is much like Chipotle Grill with the major difference being it is not set up so that you walk in and through a line telling people what you want on your burrito. They also have quesadillas and bowls and tacos as well as multiple sides. I had a burrito and it reminded me much of the one that I had at Chipotle. It was very good and everything tasted fresh. We also got the chips and salsa. They were good but not great. I like that you can watch them prepare your food while you wait. There is seating here, although not a lot of it. This is a nice casual place to go if you are wanting a quick Mexican fix. We will definitely return again. read more

I do have to take issue with one of the other reviews who says that they fed three people for just over $20 and then goes on to complain that the fish taco wasn't halibut... Um... Seriously? It has been a struggle. Glad to say so close to home now I have found a place that is not only decent but excellent! I've only eaten there twice so far but everything I've had has been great and this is going to be one of my Staples! The burrito was spectacular the quesadilla was huge and delicious the black bean soup superb and they had a special last night of the chicken chili which I hope they put on the regular menu... It was ridiculously good. My sister always says if the rice and beans are good it's going to be a good Mexican restaurants and this place is no exception, the rice and beans are amazing.
