This is a particularly awful Taco Bell with extremely slow service and rude employees.

This location is absolutely terrible. They cannot keep staff to save their life. Their lobby doors are almost always locked because they're so short staffed. They stopped serving breakfast a few YEARS back because of their issue with being unable to keep staff. Half the time, if you're even lucky enough to even place an order, they forget things or pay very little attention to what they're doing. Not the cleanest, and food is not always prepared correctly. Good job, Rutland Taco Bell. Since you can't keep a staff, your customer numbers will continue to drop like flies. Foods always late somtimes half hour to an hour late. I get it when they get slammed but don't say foods ready come to store if you haven't even made the drinks yet. I have to always watch them make food after I order much in advance. It's crazy. I just love Taco Bell but I personally know almost eveyone. They hate there jobs and are super slow about everything. On 9.11.21 we stopped on our back through Rutland, and the drive through line was looong, I ordered online and when we got up to the speaker, the guy was pleasant. We got up to the window and they were all friendly and pleasant. We didn't expect that because of the line before and after us. And in another location I've been to, the service was not good and the food was not either. However. With this location in Rutland I had some of the best Taco Bell food I've ever had. It was hot and tasted good. Perfect ratio of vegetables and sour cream vs meat. I'd go back to Rutland just for Taco Bell lol Thank you to the team last night! read more

The teenagers who work the night shift randomly tell people they aren't cooking due to short staff but when we pull back around to the front there are 3 employees all horsing around outside the side door. Whenever I do manage to get food it's haphazardly thrown into the bag, cold and usually not what I ordered. read more

I am happy to say that this was by far the best experience we have had a Taco Bell at this location ever. We were greates with a friendly hello and a smile and our food came out super fast and was on point. The gentleman that took our order even checked in with to make sure everything was good while he was cleaning up the floor and tables. Not sure what his name was but he was very pleasant and had tattoos on his arms. Keep up the good work! Will deff be back! read more

I am a vegetarian and was given beef in my "Black Bean Crunchwrap," an item marketed specifically to people wanting to avoid meat. I went through the drive-thru, and while I did the usual cursory check that yes, I had the appropriate number of correctly shaped items in my bag when I received it, I did not find out that there was a cow carcass all over my dinner until I was unpleasantly surprised with that fact upon chomping into it. Yes I am reviewing a taco bell... get over it Came here last night to grab a quick bite to eat before heading home to NJ from VT this weekend. This taco bell was absolutely spotless and had the friendliest staff I had ever seen. Granted our food did take a good amount of time to be ready but its because they actually make everything made to order. No soggy tacos here or cold food. Everything we ordered came out piping hot and made just how we requested. No tomatoes on the correct items as specified and the correct amount of cool ranch and Doritos tacos ( back in NJ they always mess up ). Absolutely no mix ups what so ever. Food was delivered to our table as if dining in a restaurant and not a fast food spot. Someone even came around and asked us how we were enjoying our meals which I thought was nice. Friendliest, cleanest, and most efficient Taco Bell I have ever been to. See you in a week! read more

The staff forgot to make our order so we ended up waiting a half hour to eat. Luckily a manager refunded us. The staff members were also short with us, dropped the food on the counter and walked away as well as had an attitude and talked about customers like they couldnt hear! So I go to Taco Bell when I don't feel like cooking dinner after a long stressful day. Well I went there tonight and the guy who waited on me Mike Rayborn was very rude. I ordered my food and usually they ask would you like hard or soft taco or did you want beef, steak or chicken. Well Mike not once asked anything. Just took my order, gave me a cup and I paid. He never said have a goodnight. Rudest person ever. There is one person who does an amazing job. She is a great worker, I would know because I used to work with her. After a long hard basketball game we went to taco bell for dinner, the sign on the door said dinning open till 10:00pm AND IT WAS CLOSED at 8:57pm!!! There were two other cars full with people that also tried to get in behind us and couldn't either we were very disappointed, and we will now never go to that dump again they lost some good customers tonight I hope their happy. read more

They receive 2 stars for the sole reason of asking for multiple handfuls of fire sauce with my 10+ tacos I ordered but instead got a combination of multiple diablo and hot sauce. The only time I go to Here is if I need to get a few boxes of tacos for a little get together at my house and every time I go in, it seems like it's some huge inconvenience that we get a lot of stuff. I'm sorry my order "seriously set all of you back" but you should be able to fill big orders every once in a while. There was one other person waiting on tacos, and they were giving everyone a 30minuet wait, even after we got our food. Kind of seemed like they were just being lazy and trying to send the customers right out the door, because every single one of them left. Stopped in Sunday morning (1/7/18). I wouldn't have thought of Taco Bell for breakfast but recently heard they do serve breakfast. As we entered there was a young woman employee LOUDLY yelling at a woman who appeared to be a customer, but she was yelling something about we're taking you to court, you'll never see her again. Maybe the same woman I see another poster said "was clearly on drugs"? I know its a fast food place but really??? WOW! Can't believe they'd have somebody like this working there. Completely incompetent employees, several of us asked him for a simple order: 2 Cheesy Gordita Crunches, 6 chipotle loaded grillers, and everything in the register. After 10 seconds went by the employee just sat there laughing. It was very rude as the employee treated us like a joke. This location needs a a better program for TinyChat orders. read more

As far as fast food goes, this particular Taco Bell does well. The staff is friendly, the service prompt, and the restrooms are clean. I also like the bright, cheery decor of the place. The food was freshly made and our order was correct. We've eaten here several times and have not been disappointed. read more
