Food Allergies? BEWARE! A manager named Camryn H. took my order and handed it to me. I drove away. I noticed the order wasn't mine. I drove back. The guy apologized and gave me MY order. I said "No problem" and left. I started eating what I thought was a beef taco; it was a chicken taco. I'M ALLERGIC TO CHICKEN! My mouth was numb. I was getting sick. I went back in for about 2 minutes and asked who I should send my emergency room bill to, since he had given me the wrong order. He blamed cross-contamination from the griddle. Then he blamed me for not telling him of my allergy. THERE WAS NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION. HE GAVE ME A CHICKEN TACO. He also yelled at me in front of patrons and staff. Here's me: I always round up my bill to support their college program; I frequently give the cashiers a scratch-off lottery ticket; I'm always nice to them, even on previous occasions when my order was mixed up. I am a loyal customer of Taco Bell, and I ordered two packs of cinnabon delights, and the dumb girl at the window even had me repeat myself about the two packs, and I get home only to discover that there's only one pack in my bag. I stopped here, craving an empanada, on my way home. Realizing I was 15 minutes from home, another 1.25 hours prep/cooking time for Crawfish Etouffee, I also got a mini shredded chicken quesadilla. My empanada was golden brown, crisp outside, oozing warm, apple goodness inside. The mini quesadilla was doing the back stroke in sauce. The female cook (cheerfully!) remade it to perfection. Wait! I'm in Taco Bell?! A lot of other restaurants could copy their attitude. Even the young male cashier was really nice and quick. The thing that gets under my skin is dirty dining room when it's slow. Or dead, which it was when I came in. One of my side gigs is in hospitality. My coworkers know when I'm manager, we all keep the dining room spotless. No dirty tables/chairs/floor, or half-eaten food on tables in "my" dining room (The GM says it's not my job as manager to bus tables. Oh yes it is! Everything is my job). The one time I did a drive-thru order they got the order wrong and were mad when we went in to ask for the correct item, they said it was the cashiers fault because she was new. We moved to this area one year ago and I have used the drive through twice and ordered Uber eats from here three times. All 5 times there has been at least one item missing. Really great staff. Surprisingly good food. Good value. I only recently became a Taco Bell convert. For the longest time I lumped Taco Bell into the "franken-food" category of fast food restaurants that seem intent on creating gimmicky food - "Burger buns that are actually meat", "Lets wrap this chicken sandwich in a burrito for some reason" etc... I first tried Taco Bell a few months ago at the Cochran Road location and I was really surprised. The menu is MASSIVE. And that massive menu provides options that should please almost anyone - in particular their vegetarian menu is more extensive than any fast food restaurant I know. To begin it took over 10 minutes in the drive through with only one car in front of me. I ordered 3 things, and they messed up entirely on my quesadilla. I have to agree with another reviewer. Twice I have come through drive through and sat in silence for at least 5 minutes before someone took my order. Maybe it was shift change? We always get tostadas without the chipotle sauce (twice I've gotten home to find that they still put the chipotle sauce on and my esophagus burned to ashes) and a bean burrito. Overall good food for a decent price. Drinks are overpriced unless you go during Happy Hour(s?) 2-5p. My son loves taco Bell, so unless they open a location closer to Dormont, we'll keep coming here. read more

If my review for the T-Bell in Forest Hills is used as a reference, I can certainly say that this location is terrible. It is as if they dropped the tortilla in a puddle (probably a toilet... get it?) prior to assembling what is supposed to be a delicious meal. By the time I got the food home it was so mushy, cold, and overall dissatisfying that I would've fed it to the dog, but the dog sniffed it as he walked by and decided to chew on his rawhide instead. The employees handled themselves well the other night when a disgruntled employee - Ashley loudly in a vulgar way left the restaurant in her misguided teenage angst driven meltdown. I eat here almost every night how is it possible that my order is always messed up in someway how... I usually always order fiery in always seem to get regular. I ask for supreme and they never put sour cream I literally just start keeping it stock in my refrigerator but they charge almost a $1 for that SMH it's horrible.
