It's Taco Bell. Portions are small than a standalone store and at least 50 cents more.

Our server Mary was wonderful and friendly…read more Very good service Most of the food was very good

Service decent ambiance it's a buffet nothing fancy the food is where you're gonna be disappointed…read more So we came here for some time away and to celebrate my husbands birthday. After a 3 hour drive up to the resort we checked in took a nap and began our exploration. We walked around and decided to go to the buffet for a casual on property bite to eat. $63.58 later we were escorted to our table. Of course we didn't sit we went straight to the food. Keep in mind this is a Sunday afternoon. They had a salad bar that was fully stocked fresh and it was clean my husband enjoyed his, seafood which was nothing but cold spiced shrimp that was salty or plain shrimp decent two different sauces cocktail which is always good and safe a Cajun sauce that was decent, lemon, then the hot food. Cheese ravioli under cooked, turkey sausage, pork sausage, bacon those were good, over cooked scrambled eggs, waffles, French toast, sausage gravy, pancakes, eggs Benedict I wasn't impressed with from the way they looked so I didn't bother, steamed vegetables, roasted potatoes had to add seasoning to, but the seafood cakes were delicious. The carving station had herb roasted turkey it was good and prime rib gravy compote or anju onions and peppers or mushrooms for your topper. An omelette station and dessert station with sugar free options and chocolate only ice cream ( I asked for vanilla ice cream and was told their order wouldn't arrive until Wednesday). I waited a while because it was still brunch when we came and they were already in the process of switching over to dinner and we wanted to see what they would put out. The clams came and they looked over cooked so I didn't get those. The prime rib looked so nice I went for it that was perfect I topped it with the gravy and some mushrooms which made it even better a side of mashed potatoes went well. The cod was okay the pork chops looked dry the ribs were delicious my husband had some during their brunch so I guess that's a repeat item they serve. So for a quick on property bite I say this place was cool. Not gonna go back while we are still here not even for breakfast. Hopefully they get the seasoning and cook times right to make this a better meal option for people that are staying on property.

I would say the high reviews are based on the locals that live in the area. I hate to say it but…read morethere isn't a lot of great food choices when visiting the Poconos. As an out of towner who has access to amazing cuisine options in my area this restaurant gets three stars and that's being nice. When you walk in it's like a motel entrance. Literally it has all the tourist pamphlets lining the entrance to the hostess stand which doubles as the front desk of the hotel. It's not welcoming and feels cheap. To get to the restaurant you walk down a narrow long bar area where plenty of locals (I'm assuming) were enjoying happy hour. Loud and unwelcoming imho. We were seated in a two top which is super close to another two top. When I requested a booth in leu of the table (every booth was empty) the hostess said they were all reserved. Noting during our entire dining experience there were empty booths. Felt a little shady. Server was very sweet and great personality but unfortunately was not very fast. Every time she finally came back to the table she was apologizing for taking so long. She had other tables but wasn't in the weeds that we could see (in my youth I worked both as a server and hostess). The homemade bread we were looking forward to wasn't fresh and it was lacking taste as was the dipping oil. Adding salt and pepper helped the oil dip. Even though we were both hungry we didn't eat all the bread. That's a problem. We ordered clams as an appetizer. Again, tasteless needed salt, no flavor otherwise. For dinner, I ordered a seafood trio with Brussel sprouts. My husband ordered a fillet cooked, medium with a baked potato. The crabcake lacked flavor had way too much filling tasted like it came from Cisco. After a second bite, I would not eat anymore. The shrimp was ho hum and the lobster not that great either. My husband's steak was very bland no flavor in the meat even though it was cooked to temperature with a slight char on the outside. Because of the slow service and lack of flavor in the food we just wanted to check and get out of there as quickly as possible. What a bust for over $200.

Bartender needs a lesson in being nice to people. It was like we were a bother when we ordered…read moredrinks. Food was horrendous. Massive servings of Bread, Sauce, Chips, but what we ordered was buried amongst them. Chicken wings were flavorless (dry rub), Bar fries were swimming in a sea of cheese sauce that was salty with the bacon bits. Prices are high and not worth it for subpar food. The shining star was our cheerful and accommodating waitress who was a light in a darkly lit room. My husband and I were nauseous all night and the exit wasn't pretty. Definitely a disappointment for a venue in our back yard.
