I have been to this Taco Bell many times. It is the worst Taco Bell in the area. Unfortunately, it is the closest one to my house, so I put up with their misgivings. Today I went there for one spicy potato taco. The drive-through was backed up onto Floyd Avenue as usual because they are understaffed and slow. I decided to go inside to expedite my order. How long could it take to make one potato taco? 20 minutes is the correct answer. There were two women who are in their late 60s to early 70s who work there. They move extremely fast and efficient. Unfortunately, they were the only ones moving and there were only two other employees. Also, I commented on the fact that the potato taco went up 15% in price since last time week. I was told that it was because minimum wage was increasing. The owner of this Taco Bell needs to staff more employees to make this restaurant work. I would give 0 stars if possible. I placed a mobile order for in store pick up at 10:45 pm. I get a text that the order is ready at 11:03 pm when I go to pick up my order the doors are locked and I'm getting signaled to go through the drive thru. The whole reason I opted for in store pick up is because this drive thru is always extremely long. Corporate will definitely be getting a call for this terrible service. I do not understand how hard it would be to walk an order to the door that is ready for pick up. Once I received the food it was already 11:25 pm the food was already cold. My daughter and I had the worse experience at any restaurant ever plus their employee was tripping and ended up flipping out and running away down the street.Taco Bell has always been my favorite fast food. We arrived on April 26 around 2:00 pm. We waited at the counter, unaware no person takes our orders anymore. Various employees walked in front of us at the counter not greeting us or even looking at us. We asked if we could order and were told to use the kiosk. I had trouble with knowing how to proceed so I asked an employee to show me how. I was told they couldn't help me. After 10 minutes a nice person who was a restaurant manager from a near-by restaurant helped me. Meanwhile my daughter was trying to place her order on the app which she uses to redeem her points for a free taco I believe. The app wasn't working. After several tries she also ordered from the kiosk. Then she had to wait while an employee got change for the register. We then got our drinks and it was only syrup. The co2 was empty. We asked an employee to use the drive-through machine to fill our drinks. My daughter went to find a table for us and there was only one table that was clean and it was the smallest one there. We had to use the table next to us to sit our paper bags and purses on. There were only 3 persons in the restaurant, all waiting for their orders which were taking at least 15 minutes to get. We finally got our order. The food was hot and good. We were there about 45 minutes. In all that time they didn't ever replace the co2 or clean any tables. They had about 8 cars in the drive through which had spilled into the street when we were leaving. They needed more employees. As we were eating, an employee was sitting by the Oakdale Rd. window. All of a sudden he shouted out a noise. Then he got up and went out the door and was running around the building very fast. Then he came back in, wandered around, and went out again, running around the building before coming in. About the fourth time this happened, he ran around the parked cars then took off running down the street until I couldn't see him anymore. I never saw a manager or employee taking care of the situation. It made my daughter and I wonder about the safeness of our food and who made it. Yuck. Also, there were cobwebs to the right of the drink machine at the top of the wall. We won't return to this restaurant on Oakdale and Floyd ever again. We will go to the other Taco Bells as long as they have reasonably fast service and are clean. read more

Between the Doritos locos tacos, naked chicken chalupas, and the nacho fries - I visit this Taco Bell location way too much. Lately, they've been really consistent and the "quality" seems pretty good. My tacos are surprisingly intact/not broken. The drive through employees are really nice. I would not recommend the power bowls or taco salad bowls. With the tacos, you know you're getting bagged meat in a greasy shell. But the power bowl is a depressing version of a Chipotle bowl. This Taco Bell location seems to change their menu as much as they change employees! I went here to order a 12 pack, which they changed to 10 pack of crunchy/soft tacos and bean burritos. When I looked at the menu, they don't offer the 10 pack with bean burritoes, they only offer it with a 7 layer beef and bean burritoes which are more expensive. I tried to explain to the drive-thru staff that I do not like beef and that I would rather simply have a bean burrito so could I have the bean burrito? They replied no. So then I asked okay I'll order the 7-Layer Burrito with no beef, making it a simple bean burrito to which they said no. The staff had no explanation as of two why I couldn't order the seven-layer burrito without the beef instead just make it a simple bean burrito with onions and cheese and hot sauce, yet if I ordered a crunchy taco and asked for it without cheese they would be more than happy to do that. When I went to pay for my order, they demanded that I give them exact change which I did not have. My order came to $13.96, I gave them $4 then they asked me would you like your four pennies? Seriously? Earlier they told me they didn't have any change now they're offering me for pennies. It's not my problem that they can't seem to get change into their restaurants, the major grocery store right down the street doesn't have a problem so why can't they as Taco Bell? Yeah I'm sure if I were to have paid for the entire order and change it probably would have angered them! I ended up ordering two crunchy tacos, two bean burritoes, one e nacho bell grande and two side dishes of brown rice. as for the side orders of brown rice, I only received one, the rice was not they type i had asked for, it was supposed to be some type of white rice in a white cream sauce. They portion size was not what is should have been, it amounted to two tablespoons. I didn't eat it because it looked like it was something a previous customer had half eaten. Also, while I was in the drive-thru line, it extended ll the way out onto Floyd Avenue making it extremely dangerous for the traffic on Floyd Avenue. The four vehicles in front of me were having a contest on who could play their music the loudest. While I realize that this is not the fault of Taco Bell employees, Taco Bell needs to put a sign out on the menu that states in large letters we reserve the right to refuse service to those who played their music so loud that our customers cannot hear and Order. Also, per city ordinances im sure its illegal. I literally had to wait until all four cars had been served, given their order's and left Taco Bell before I could even year the employees working the drive-thru. Again, I realize it's not Taco Bells fault regarding the loud car stereo music, it was their customers. Taco Bell could resolve the issue by having employees with wireless headsets out in the parking lot on foot, taking orders especially when the lines are so long that they go out to the street and endanger the public. During busy hours,, Modesto's In N Out fast food restaurants have one to three employees out in the parking lot. These employees wear wireless headsets and are taking customer orders. TACO BELL OWNERS TAKE NOTE- THIS SIMPLE SOLUTION WOULD ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEMS REGARDING CUSTOMERS WHO PLAY THEIR CAR RADIO SO LOUD THAT CUSTOMERS CAN'T ORDER TILL THEY ARE GONE!!
