By far the worst Taco Bell in Lancaster County. The wait is always long, they often are out of what you order (this time, the breakfast naked tacos). Then you get home to find out that you are missing items. Update 5/11/18:didn't know how they could get worse, but they did. Went last week and waited 51 minutes from getting in line at the drive thru to driving away with my food. No receipt given. Good move TB can't use it to call and review you. Also no surprise, out of Cinnabon's. Daughters Doritos tacos were soggy. Go this week on Saturday night, wait in Drive thru about 15 minutes, still not up to ordering screen. Girl comes out at 12:06am and tells everyone they are closing, no staff to operate and she has already worked 2 hrs past her shift ending. Corporate needs to step in at this TB, it is managed very poorly. I really wish the Willow Street Taco Bell didn't close so early. I would drive the extra few miles to go there instead. Oh my god. this is the worst food Ive ever had. You forget just how bad it is until you go around trying food for the yelp of it.. --------- FOOD: I got a bean and cheese burrito and some cheese nachos. Seriously, you can buy stuff out of the grocery store freezer thats better. The cheese in my burrito wasnt even melted! I couldnt even finish my meal, thats how tasteless it is. DECOR: Its a fast food chain. Plastic tables, a soda fountain, a counter to order from.. and the front door is locked. You have to go in thru the side. SERVICE: Good. Actually Ive never gotten my food so fast (and cheap). But that comes with a price. Fast does not equal good, and the faster it comes, the worse it is. I want to be charitable to this place, that is why I gave it two stars. The last few times I ate here the drive thru lines weren't crazy long, so that is a positive. I have never worked a fast food job so I can only guess what the difficulties involved are. I don't recommend this place for anybody. After speaking to the district manager more than once, I've found that their orders are still wrong, condiments don't exist in the drive-through, and worst of all it just isn't Mexican. The prices as posted do not apply at the counter or window. I showed them my receipt recently, which showed a higher total than the price as posted. They shrugged and said that was the price (not as posted, but whatever they decide to charge at the register). At best this is stoner food late at night, and it leaves you with a long, uncomfortable day ahead if you eat there. If you want Mexican food in Lancaster, try El Pueblito (on Dillerville Rd. near the Waffle House) or Cocina Mexicana on Prince St. (next to the Hager parking lot). Or take a drive down toward Delaware, where the mushroom farms have brought in Mexican labor and the restaurants that go along with it. read more

Well for someone who hasn't eaten here in many years, I was actually a bit more cautious eating here again after my bad experience at the location in Willow Street that took nearly 30 minutes to get my food. But honestly, I think I came at the right time. Why? Between 2 and 5PM, they have a Happier Hour special in which you can get a Medium Soda or a Loaded Griller for $1. So with the nachos I got with my Spicy Chicken Griller, it only cost me $3.17, so very cheap late lunch. Its been such a long time since I've eaten here as I never liked stuff with peppers, lettuce or onions on them (I will eat Onion Rings, but everything else can go) so I don't get too much in terms of stuff here. The inside has drastically changed since I've been in this one last. And it only took like 3 minutes to get my food, even though I can still taste the spicy chicken in my mouth (bit too spicy maybe?) But if you need a cheap lunch, come here and get a stuffed griller for a buck. Can't beat that. I don't do drive thru, ain't got time for that! I just ate it there! read more

My order is wrong almost every time I go, and I'm not ordering anything complicated, just crunchy taco supremes, chicken chalupas usually. Tonight, they forgot half my order, and when I went inside to tell them, they took forever to give me the missing items (There were other customers waiting inside and upset about their order and wait time, all while the staff was laughing, swearing, yelling , and chatting instead of making the food. The man beside inside waiting was not happy. ) After giving me the bag of missing items (with no apology), I saw that they still forgot two items. After over a half hour from my initial order I drove home with what was supposed to be my ordered food. When I got home and unwrapped my food, I saw that they gave me the wrong items....again. I drove the whole way back and told them My order was still wrong. They apologized and said they would make the order again and give me anything else I wanted for free. The woman at the window was apologetic and seemed sincere, but when I got home, over an hour and a half after my initial order, and unwrapped the food.......you guessed it, they had given me the wrong items again. I pulled up to the drive through at 5:30, and not only did the girl not realize they actually have Doritos Locos at their locations, but she insisted that each car wait until "they were ready" for them to pull-up, this back of up the driveway to the street. This Taco Bell is complete shit! I have gone here two times. The first time they were out of the drink I wanted (baja blast) as well as the Cinnabon delights (12 pack) I ordered on the app. They tried to give me their cinnamon twists which are not equivalent what so ever, they are smaller and cheaper. I went back thinking it was a one-time event however this was not the case. I proceeded to go back the next week and the same thing happened. On top of not having my drink and the Cinnabon delights again the replacement drinks they gave were flat and warm because they did not give ice. I wait on average if 10-15 minutes, with a range of 1-3 cars in front of me. The employees seem to always be lost or confused for some reason. Part 1 If ever there were a restaurant that zero stars would apply to, it is this one. I really wish a special exception could be made to allow an appraisal utterly bereft of stars for just the occasion of me adding my own contribution to the extremely negative reviews which have already been offered about this appalling establishment. As far back as I have memories of this place, I recall that they have had trouble providing their customers complete orders. The place developed a reputation for always forgetting at least one item. It was like a game trying to decide which item they would forget this time. The prudent patron would check the entire contents of the bag before heading out the door and driving off. The uninitiated trusting types would have to wait until they arrived home for their disappointing surprise. I wish that I could say that, through the years, this location had worked out the underlying failings of its business processes and gotten better, but the recounting of the experiences of many have only confirmed that they have not and that they have only managed to add more fuel to the customer ire fire. In addition to being forgetful, the staff would often fall short of keeping the place looking clean and tidy. The sauce bins were often empty, although, you could easily find the packet you were looking for on the floor. The tables were often not cleaned and wiped down, and it was not difficult to see why. The attitude of the teenagers working there only seemed to have grown more entitled and apathetic. It is also not untrue that this location's drive-thru has a reputation for being incredibly slow. I know that I have sat in it for longer than twenty minutes which is why I decided long ago to always go in. It's faster. At this point, I'd like to relay to you recent accounts of my last two visits to this Taco Bell. I have decided that they would be my last visits ever. About a year ago, we discovered that Taco Bell had a way to order online. So, we used this order form with the intention of picking it up at the Columbia Avenue location. It appeared as though everything worked correctly, and our debit card was billed. I think that when you order, a timer is started, and the assumption is that your food will be ready in some fixed amount of time afterwards--like a half an hour. So, if you have the app (we didn't), it alerts you that your food theoretically should be ready this amount of time after your order. This assumes that the staff has gotten your order and has decided not to ignore it. Fifteen minutes later, I hopped in my car and drove off to this Taco Bell. When I arrived, I found that the lights were off, and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. I knocked again and again. Suddenly, a head popped out from behind the door to the back. "We're closed!" the head said. Not to be deterred, I knocked again. Again, the head popped out and informed me that they were closed. I yelled back that I had ordered online and paid. The head disappeared again. I knocked again. This time the head came out attached to a short, middle-aged man's body which walked to the door. He informed me again that they were closed and that it was because of an equipment failure. I responded that I was very sorry for that but that I had ordered and already paid for it. He reluctantly unlocked the door and told me once again that they had had an equipment failure and that I would have to come back later. I explained to the lunkhead again that I had ordered and already paid and that, if I could not get my order, I would like my money back. He instructed me that all I had to do to rectify the situation was to use the app to cancel the order. I explained that I did not use the app, but that I had ordered online and that I didn't understand how, even if I had used the app, I was supposed to cancel an order that I had paid for and was supposed to have already been prepared. If it were that easy, wouldn't people simply pick up their orders and then cancel them ensuring themselves a free meal? Can you cancel the order up until you are handed the bagful of food? The resolution to this fiasco was that I agreed to return later in the week, and he agreed to pay me back in cash at that time, which he did. read more

I love Taco Bell but I have never waited so long in my life. It took over half an hour to get through the line. Whoever is running this store has to know their time management is awful. We sat and watched the workers stand around while waiting on the food instead of getting things prepared for the other 7 cars behind us. If there is no one running the store and giving order there probably should be especially on a weekend at night. I've come to this store on a few different occasions at different times thinking it would be better and it has always been this way. If there aren't enough employees; hire more and schedule better. The fact that cars end up lined up around the store is insane to me! It would be nice to see another store put somewhere in this area to help with the demand. I'll admit I'm a bit shocked at the generally poor reviews for this Taco Bell. I've been to a variety of Taco Bells both locally and out of state, and this Columbia Avenue location is my favorite. I frequent here Sunday afternoons following church, and the service and courtesy from the staff here are better than other fast food restaurants. I'm always served with a smile, so the lengthy queue during rush hours is worth the wait. Expect to see me here in the future as I work towards trying every menu item! read more
