The pretzel itself was good and salty just how I like it but that kitchen staff send out broth water as cheese and some nasty mayo and called it mustard. Nope! Skip those awful sauces. Sneak in your own cheese. It's worth mentioning our server's crotchety lackluster service. We weren't given a greeting or even a smile the entire time. I've had the privilege--both for work and for fun--of visiting many interesting places, including…read morerestaurants. That gives me a little insight into what makes a good restaurant, in addition to being a bit of a chef myself. My first time at Muddy Waters. A very cozy place with an impressive patio. The service was impeccable and very professional. Jessica really paid attention to every detail. Now, on to the bar. Unfortunately, I don't know the bartender's name. She made an absolutely delicious Manhattan--and I know a thing or two about Manhattans. When my lovely guest ordered a Sangria, it was almost an earthquake. I say this because in all restaurants--except in Spain and other countries that know how to make it--here in my country, they don't know how to make it. Sangria comes from the word "sangre," meaning "blood," which is red--unless you're royalty with blue blood. Just kidding! Everyone makes it with white wine and chopped fruit. In Argentina, that's called "Clericot," which comes from the English term "Claret Cup." Anyway, my congratulations to the excellent Lady bartender, who created a red sangria, her own way--delicious, refreshing, and very flavorful. Remember, sangria is drunk in Spain, mostly in places like Seville in the summer to enjoy that Andalusian sun. We ordered the Baked Brie. We thought we were going to get a dish just like all the ones we've tried at other restaurants--bought at the market and baked. This Baked Brie, however, is fantastic: custom-made and stuffed. I won't tell my readers what's inside--you'll have to go try it for yourselves. In a word: authentic, creative, and delicious. Another thing worth highlighting is the pork chop. Perfectly grilled. Very hard to find out there. Most of the time, it's dry and chewy. A suggestion, the Rack Ribs, I would cook them on the BBQ sauce. They were a little dry. I skipped dessert--I'm saving that for my next visit. See you soon...

Taco Bell Hastings is the worst manager and behind counter workers swear at customers and are very rude Do not Go there unless you want rude customers service with F*** words. Corporate seems to like this type of behavior because they do not respond. Will never go back to this place. They are racist also she makes rude racist comments ......if the line gets too long they start swearing a blue streak. The red head manager is a very mean rude foul mouth demeaning person who throws drinks at you and tells customers not to come back to her store. I go two towns over to another taco bell that is how bad the Hastings MN Taco Bell is. I would put a NEGATIVE rating if it had one. read more
